Horus, Anubis & Osiris
The Heian Shrine wasn't the only place in Kyoto grounded in reckless chaos. And certainly, humans weren't the only ones suffering afflictions because of the actions of Youkai.
*CLACK*
*CLACK*
The subtle noise of freezing flesh foreshadowed the screams of the despairing humans running for shelter as the Youkais battled each other in the dark fog. It was a battle of time for safety. The moment the night arrived, Youkais would become even stronger.
*CLACK*
*CLACK*
"G-Grayfia..."
Standing in some remote corner of the shrine was a gorgeous lady with maid attire and grey hair in a bun. A load of freezing kappas looked like they had tried to attack them unsuccessfully.
The woman was holding two girls in her arms dressed in Kimonos.
*BOOOMMM!!*
*BOOOMMM!!*
From one corner of the city, impacts and destruction could be heard, signifying an even bigger battlefield.
"Rias-sama, Akeno-sama... you will be safe, it is better if you forget what happened today... forget this Hinami Festival, we will come again next year, alright?~".
Although her words sounded sweet, the gazes of the two girls indicated they weren't ever going to forget it. It had all been too sudden and although Grayfia realised something wasn't right, she still never expected an attack of this scale.
"B-Blood... there was blood everywhere".
"Rias-chan calm down!"
Funnily enough, it was the raven-haired girl who was trying to calm down the redhead despite the two of them having tears fall on their innocent cheeks.
"Akeno, take care of Rias-sama" She gave her order and the girl nodded, hugging her best friend and master.
"Rias-sama... this is the real world, don't forget".
She waved her hands and something akin to a magic circle appeared, the two girls disappeared like motes of light into this circle, it was a teleportation spell.
The maid fixed her dress and looked around.
'First off... I have to try and understand the situation. As our influence in Japan increases, it is better to understand the political spectrum. An uprising of Youkai? The East is attacking the West and it must have to do with the same incident that took place one year ago where the Priestess of Amaterasu was involved. I must take this chance to oversee the situation and tell Sirzechs-sama'.
The first thing she did, however, was jump in the direction of the shocking blows as a pair of devilish wings manifested in her back.
"There is a fight here, what is-!"
When she finally caught a glimpse of what was going on, her eyes couldn't help but shake at what she was seeing.
"You have it in you, Brat! keep coming at me! I'll teach you a couple of things!"
Two individuals, a grown-up man with armour and long dark blue hair. She recognised him from posters and myths.
'Heracles!?'
What was most astonishing was not the identity of the Greek Demigod who had no reason to be in this territory, instead... the person fighting him.
It was a kid that couldn't be any older than fifteen... his skin was dark, his hair as black as the abyss, a pair of shining golden-slitted eyes and golden flames all over his naked body.
He was fighting Heracles to a standstill!
*BAAANGGG!!!*
Each punch they gave each other carried so much devastation, the shrine that was supposed to be here was now gone. In one corner she managed to catch a glimpse of what looked like a Youkai girl spectating the fight between the two, a bit frightened.
'Who is that kid? A god in disguise? No, his skill is rudimentary at best... there is no trace of deep experience compared to Heracles, but his power is just ridiculous. What pantheon does he belong to?'
The fight didn't seem like it was going to end, instead... Heracles seemed to act like an instigator.
'He's trying to protect that girl? Perhaps I should help him... it would give me an alibi to establish a friendly relationship-'
"Don't make a move..."
!!!
'When?!'
Grayfia turned around and what met her was the sight of a powerful lady who had the mask of a black hound. Her aura was almost imperceptible but she exuded divinity. Her eyes looked down at her like she was more worthless than scattered dirt.
'A goddess?' just her features alone exposed her as such. She had a black dog mask which was cast a bit sideways, her eyes were golden and slit, her body consisted on a load of black bandages with glyphs that made her look like a legendary mummy, her exposed skin was not visible but instead, shining in bright colours.
"An Egyptian goddess?"
"What are you and what's your name?" The woman didn't answer but instead asked back with a voice that sounded humanoid yet artificial.
Grayfia didn't lose time to recover her composure, switching her attention from the miraculous fight of the infant, towards this individual who was related to the boy. Her mind tried to make conjectures.
'Training? Is she allowing him to train? is it her son or relative?'
Both of them looked Egyptian.
"I'm a Devil, my name is Grayfia Lucifuge and I'm the maid of the house of Gremory working alongside the Satan Sirzechs Lucifer. I expect cordiality".
"You can address me as Anubis".
'Anubis? So it is the Egyptian Pantheon... weren't they extinct?'
"I want information, Grayfia... what is going on?"
"I thought you'd have a lot more information than me. Aren't you one of the perpetrators?"
The goddess shook her head, "We were here coincidentally... that's all".
"Could I know what is your relationship with the boy?".
"My son".
"His name?"
"You ask too many questions, you're allowed to ask regarding this incident, but if you keep prying on our private lives, I'll kill you".
"..."
Her threats were so straightforward that she didn't doubt her capability to fulfil them.
"My apologies, just like you I'm trying to recollect information, Anubis-sama... are you aware of the identity of that man?"
"... no, who is he?"
'She doesn't know...? I thought the community of gods was more connected.
"His name is Heracles, he's a demigod and the son of Zeus, the patron of the Greek Pantheon. I advise you to recall your son before he begins fighting seriously".
Although she said so, her head turned to look at the devastation taking place and she wondered... 'Isn't Heracles fighting with everything he's got already?'.
"A mere low-rank demigod, I'll recall my son when I perceive he's in danger... so far that's not the case but it may be soon, there is another demigod in the vicinity".
'Why is there an Egyptian Goddess in the Territory of the Shinto Faction? Moreover, Heracles is here too? Just what is going on? Why aren't the Shinto Gods descending yet?'
She had too many questions.

This bastard is too strong, I don't know how much I'll be able to resist. I keep going at him but he keeps going to Anna, he knows she's my weakest link right now.
[It may not be the best moment to mention it... but if you die, I can bring you back to life a total of ten times so long as your soul is not scattered in the void]
'It would have been handy to know that! why ten times?'
[You have a total of ten chaos points right now, to rebuild your flesh only costs one point].
"Are you sure you want to keep protecting the monster, huh?!" Heracles billowed, interrupting my important conversation with Horus.
"Fuck off!"
*BOOOMM!!*
I had to put both my arms together to protect against his explosion, they couldn't do anything to me, but I was starting to get tired, I didn't have the best stamina.
"Ray-chan!"
"Anna you need to go, I can't fight this guy properly if you're here".
"You couldn't fight me properly even if she wasn't here bozo, playtime's over!"
*RUMBLE!!*
