DxD 0096: Release that Bishop
Abaddon didn’t respond to Serafall’s scrutiny and said, “Would you like to take a seat, Serafall?” He gestured to the couch where Sirzechs and Zeoticus were sitting.
“Hmm…” She narrowed her eyes as she looked at him for a few seconds, “I’ve got my eye on you, mister…” She said while wagging her finger at him before going to the couch that Abaddon was previously sitting on.
“Akeno-chan, could you please bring me some tea?” Serafall asked Akeno who was standing at the side with her hands clasped together.
“Of course, Lady Leviathan.” Akeno gracefully bowed and left to get some tea.
As Abaddon approached the Satans, Serafall turned to Sirzechs, “It’s been a while, Sirzechs-chan.”
“Likewise, Lady Leviathan.” He nodded to her.
At the same time, “Greetings, Lady Leviathan,” Zeoticus greeted Serafall who responded in kind.
“So, Sirzechs-chan, has Don-chan eaten up your little sister yet?☆” She asked with a cute starry blink as Abaddon took his seat beside her. He burst into a fit of coughing after hearing Serafall’s words, ‘These damn Satans…’
“Hm?” Serafall suddenly turned to him.
Abaddon looked at her curiously and she said to him with a cute frown, “Don’t be rude.” She turned back to Sirzechs and asked again, “Has he?☆”
Abaddon had to make an effort to not twitch his brow, ‘Hax I tell you… Hax!’ He had no idea how Serafall felt his thoughts.
He shook his head and sipped his whiskey as Sirzechs struggled to come up with an answer.
“Ahem, Let’s talk about the summit instead.” Abaddon decided to redirect things.
“Oh, you’ve already told them.” Serafall nodded in understanding.
They had already planned to tell Rias and Sona about their plan to conduct the summit in Kuoh since the girls were the handlers of this territory and their involvement was going to be very important.
Serafall was about to continue, but then she was attracted by a smell, “That’s such a rich smell…☆” She turned to Abaddon and noticed the glass in his hand.
“Would you like to try?” He asked as he extended the glass toward her.
Serafall got closer to the glass and sniffed it, “How lovely…” She said and put her lips on the glass before giving Abaddon a look.
That look felt like such a temptation to Abaddon that he almost wanted to drink the whiskey and feed it to Serafall mouth-to-mouth. Barely suppressing the thought, Abaddon gulped as he helped Serafall drink the whiskey in his glass. As she leaned her head back to let him raise the glass higher, her chest was emphasized as Abaddon’s gaze couldn’t help but go down there.
After taking enough of a sip to empty his entire glass, Serafall exhaled a satisfied breath. Abaddon pulled the glass away from her and looked at her before asking, “How was it?”
“Very good. But not my type… I prefer the fruity taste of wines and cocktails instead of something hard like whiskey.” She said while gazing at him.
“N-not your type…” Zeoticus almost had a heart attack as he heard Serafall besmirch the name of Azazel’s supreme spirit.
“You finished everything in the glass nonetheless.” Abaddon smiled and replied to her. Both of them tacitly ignored Zeoticus.
“I was thirsty☆~” She smiled brightly.
“I have a bottle of wine too if you want to drink it…” Abaddon offered. The stash of booze that he extorted from Azazel included many different drinks for exactly a time like this. When high-profile guests come, they love trying out rich and aged spirit alcohols.
“Really?☆” Her eyes brightened and she said, “Bring it out after I finish Akeno-chan’s tea.”
The four of them spent some time talking about random things when Akeno finally came with Serafall’s tea.
After serving it to Serafall, she was going to stand at the side again, but Abaddon pulled her and made her sit on his lap again.
‘There are two Satans in this room, A-kun…’ She looked into his eyes and transmitted her thoughts to him.
‘Is that why you’re acting like you’re on thin ice?’ He smiled and pinched her chin, making her face him as he planted a light kiss on her lips, “Don’t worry.”
“I’m getting jealous, Don-chan☆” Serafall interjected after she saw Abaddon’s gentle actions, “You have the great Satan Levia-tan☆ herself in front of you, and you’re ignoring her…☆” She exaggerated, “You haven’t even shown me that wine you were talking about.”
“I’m not ignoring you, Serafall, but I have to appreciate my Akeno for being so obedient and helpful during this time, don’t I?” He gave Akeno an appreciative glance before turning back to Serafall, “As for the wine,” He cast a magic circle and brought out another bottle from his stash.
“Help yourself.” He conjured a wine glass for her along with a decanter if she wanted to savor the flavor even more.
“Aren’t you going to pour it for me?☆” She pouted.
“If you share the same glass as me, I might consider pouring it for you.” He flirted audaciously. Akeno widened her eyes at his words and froze while closing her eyes, ready to receive an attack from Serafall.
“You liked helping me drink your single malt, didn’t you?☆” Serafall said playfully, much to Akeno’s surprise.
“Very much so, yes.” Abaddon agreed with a smile.
“Ahem, ahem…” It was Sirzechs who interrupted Abaddon and Serafall’s playful flirting and said, “Shall we talk about some of the agendas of the summit?” He wasn’t interested in seeing Abaddon and Serafall flirt.
Akeno’s nerves finally calmed down at Sirzechs’ interruption since she was the one in between Abaddon and Serafall and was feeling equal parts awkward and scared.
Serafall winked at Abaddon before grabbing the bottle and pouring some wine for herself.
…
Eventually, everyone returned from their daily contract commitments. With Asia and Akeno cooking, everyone moved to the dinner table.
Abaddon pulled Koneko to sit in his lap today while Rias and Sona sat at either of his sides with the others populating the rest of the table.
As the food was served, Abaddon fed the cute Nekomata in his lap and looked at Sirzechs, “When is the summit happening?”
“This Saturday. That reminds me, Ria.” Sirzechs turned to Rias who was still a little pouty.
His heart ached when she continued giving him the cold shoulder, but he had to get the important stuff done first. He said, “The three factions are going to hold a summit on Saturday and we’ve decided to use Kuoh as the venue for the meeting.
Rias was pleasantly surprised, “Is that so?”
Sirzechs was happy to see that expression on Rias’ face and said, “After seeing how you all handled Kokabiel, I was able to pull some strings to designate your territory as the venue.”
“Considering that it’s happening this week itself, I should start preparing…” She mumbled.
“You don’t have to worry too much, I’ll be sending some of my elites to help you with your preparations,” Sirzechs told Rias. After all, he had to assign some protection to Rias and her Peerage considering they were going to bait the Khaos Brigade by holding the summit in such a weak territory in comparison to the more fortified and better-managed territories that they owned in the human world.
When he saw his sister nod in understanding, Sirzechs continued, “Also, you should release your Bishop. I think you’re strong enough to manage things much better now, with the summit coming up, you’ll need all the help you can get.”
“Are you sure?” Rias asked with a raised brow.
“Of course. I trust that my sister is now strong enough to handle the power of that gear.” He said, making Rias feel inwardly elated, but she only snorted on the outside.
“I understand, Onii-sama.” Rias turned her head to the side with reddened cheeks.
As for Abaddon, he had one arm wrapped around Koneko’s waist as he held her close while feeding her with his other hand. She ate the food with unexpressive glee. The only reason that Abaddon knew that she was happy as he fed her was her proactive actions of bringing her face close to his hand every time he filled the spoon.
Seeing her act so cute, Abaddon couldn’t help himself and slipped his hand under her top and rubbed her belly with gentle caresses, making her squirm. However, instead of resisting, she leaned back and made herself comfortable while letting out a comfortable hum as he rubbed her belly.
He noticed almost all of the girls in the room sneaking jealous glances at Koneko as he pampered her endlessly. Even Serafall seemed to have given him a look that gave him the vibe that she wanted to exchange places with Koneko.
For today though, his attention was fully on Koneko, he had a lot of fun pampering the house cat that was Koneko throughout the dinner where they all discussed things about the upcoming summit while.
By the time it was night, Abaddon made the sensible decision of not making Sona sleep with him. Unlike the weak sis-con that was Sirzechs, Serafall was much worse and would probably smite Abaddon with her ‘magical girl’ powers if she found out about his relationship with her sister.
Plus, Abaddon wanted to get the Satan Leviathan for himself and that needed him to be on somewhat good terms with her. He didn’t want her to try to kill him every time he flirted with her.
