DxD 0039: The Red Dragon Emperor
‹Such an interesting way to get a new host…› Abaddon heard a regal voice in his head. It had such depth that it shook his soul. But he didn’t have the time to reply as he was still occupied with the raging torrent of magic around him.
It took him a few minutes to calm everything down as he removed all traces from before, leaving nothing but Issei’s dead body in the square.
“I thought I asked you to keep him alive…” Rias said to him with a disappointed tone.
“I know, Rias. I wanted to too. But he was lusting after you, I can’t allow that.” Abaddon said nonchalantly.
“Still, you broke your word,” Rias said.
“First off, Rias, I’m a devil. My word shouldn’t mean anything. And second, I said I’ll see what I can do. I never said that I’ll definitely let him live.” He said, looking into her eyes with a serious expression.
“But…” She felt that he wasn’t finished so she waited for him to continue.
“I don’t want to hear your morals lecture, right now. A blank check. You can ask me to do whatever you want in one instance.” He said nonchalantly.
“Anything?” Rias gasped. “Anything…” He confirmed. After getting the Boosted Gear, he was in a good mood and agreed to fulfill any demand from Rias. Then again, he would do pretty much anything as long as she asked him with a cutesy loving tone so it was more of an excuse for her to ask him without feeling indebted.
Suddenly, Rias’ presence changed as she asked him curiously, “It must’ve been a strong gear for you to break your promise for it. What is it?”
Abaddon narrowed his eyes, “I didn’t promise anything,” He then smiled and said, “You won’t believe it. It’s the Boosted Gear.”
Rias gasped with surprise as she said, “A Longinus?” She covered her mouth with both hands, baffled at his luck. The surprise was followed by elation as she rushed at him and tightly hugged him. “I’m so happy for you!” She said as her arms tightly wrapped around him.
Though, just as he was about to reply, he felt her teeth sink into his shoulder as she bit him painfully, [I could’ve had a pawn with a Longinus but you stole him from me…] She transmitted her thought to him telepathically.
“It’s okay, honey.” He hugged her back and gently caressed her hair to comfort her a little so that she would let go after a while.
“You have to make it up to me.” She said after a while as she pulled back her face with a pout. She wanted to draw his blood but his skin was too hard for her to be able to damage it with just her teeth. At best, she could make him feel pain.
“Damn girl, you’re brutal…” He said as he smiled wryly. She’d tried for 5 minutes to draw his blood by biting his shoulder in multiple areas, even going so far as to destroy the shoulder part of his shirt to directly bite his shoulder.
“Oh, don’t be a baby…” She smiled amusedly as she brought her face back to his shoulder which was filled with her bite marks and started licking them, transferring her demonic energy through her saliva.
“Little minx…” He teased her. He also stopped his stored Aether from flowing to his shoulder, letting Rias do her thing. Although demonic energy was far less potent, it also had healing properties. He was happy to let Rias lick his shoulder for a while.
It took almost 10 minutes of Rias licking and sucking his shoulder for the marks to disappear. And Abaddon enjoyed every second of that process.
“You happy?” Rias asked with a flirty smile on her face as she licked her glistening lips that had remnants of her saliva. “You really like tempting me, don’t you Rias.” He held her chin and brought her face close to his.
“Of course… I want to see you give in…” She said with a devilish smile. “Too bad for you… I just got a new toy to distract me.” He whispered in her ear.
‹You dare call me a toy, brat…›
“I seem to have angered the soul of the Dragon in the gear…” He nonchalantly said to Rias who suddenly panicked and asked, “What?”
“Don’t sweat it. He seems nice. But I do need to talk to him… So let’s go back to Kuoh. Help me fulfill my end of the deal in the contract with Issei, will you?” Without waiting for an answer from her, he kissed her forehead and said, “You’re the best. Thank you, Rias.” And he disappeared in a teleportation circle that took him back to his room.
“Abaddon!” She screamed angrily as he disappeared.
…
“Hi, there. How are you doing?” Abaddon appeared in his mindscape which seemed to be occupied by a colossal beast that was large enough that he couldn’t see the whole body and was only able to see the head. It was so large that Abaddon’s entire body was only as big as one of its sharp teeth that were visible as it growled at him.
“I can see that we may have gotten off on a bad start. My name is Abaddon Bael. The heir to the house of Bael and the descendent of Zekram Bael.” He said.
“I know that name…” The dragon said in a thundering voice that made it slightly uncomfortable for Abaddon but he didn’t mind. The beast in front of him was a Heavenly Dragon. This much was understandable. What he was surprised about was that the dragon was familiar with his ancestor’s name. He was just shooting his shot when trying to use the old man’s name but it seemed that it paid off.
“Can you tell me your name?” He asked.
“Welsh Dragon, Y Ddraig Goch, The Red Dragon Emperor of Domination.” The dragon’s thundering voice almost burst Abaddon’s eardrums.
“Can you not try so hard to be loud and intimidating? It’s painful?” He asked while holding his ears.
“Why did you kill my previous host… Abaddon?” Draig asked him, addressing him by his real name. That itself was a slight acknowledgment from him.
“Greed. I saw that he had a Sacred Gear, most likely a powerful one. I wanted it for myself.” He said.
“And what if it was a dud that you couldn’t use?” Draig asked.
“I’d throw it into storage and use it as a bargaining chip later.” He said with a shrug.
“Interesting… Go away for now. Let me nap.” Draig waved his claw and Abaddon disappeared, opening his eyes as he was still lying in the same position where he’d closed his eyes.
“That was… An experience.” He said with a comfortable sigh. ‘There shouldn’t be any problem using the gear for now, at least… I need information about the Boosted Gear…’ He decided to contact his family for information, but that would come later. Right now, he was interested in the tantalizing busty body of the Fallen Angel that he’d captured.
‹You’re pretty lustful…› Draig commented as he could practically read his thoughts.
“I’m a devil. Lust is literally one of the 7 defining traits for us.” He commented as he cast a spell to track the Fallen Angel. He directly teleported to the room where Rias had put her.
Draig didn’t say anything after that, presumably going to sleep. He wasn’t very interested in Abaddon’s current pursuit.
With a flash of light, Abaddon was standing in front of the Fallen Angel who was still tied up by his chains. She was still unconscious and seemed to have been lazily tossed to the ground.
Looking around, he realized that this was a completely minimalistic prison room with nothing but a stone bed and a bucket for certain needs. Though it seemed to be present for more of an aesthetic reason than actually holding someone prisoner.
‘Good enough for my requirements…’ He thought as he first cast a spell to clean out the place completely. He didn’t want to fuck in a dirty room after all. Then he cast a barrier around the room that would make sure that no one disturbed him for the next few hours.
Then he cast a magic circle, “Oh Seekvaira…” He said in a sing-song voice.
“Can’t you fuck someone in real-time? Why do you need me to dilate the time so much? You’ll end up living half as long as devils should if you keep doing that…” Seekvaira was full of complaints.
“Come on, help me out. This one’s a special case. I need at least a week with her.” He said as he stabbed his staff into the ground, creating a yellow circle.
With a flash, Seekhvaira walked out of the circle sporting an annoyed expression on her face.
“I can’t do a single cast that would last that long.” She said.
“I know. I will channel Aether through your body which will boost your capabilities.” He gave her the solution. “Come on dude, that will exhaust my mental energy completely. I’ll be lazing around like a zombie for the next week.” She disagreed.
“Pretty please…” He asked her, “I’ll give you a huge supply of Aether.” He offered. He had quite a bit of it stored after last night as double production wasn’t a joke. He already produced much more Aether than he needed when training by himself, and with Rias added to the mix, he had an abundance of that special energy.
Seekvaira had a thoughtful expression on her face as she agreed, “Fine…” She created the circles on the four walls of the prison before holding out her hand waiting for him to grab it.
Just as Seekhvaira started powering up the ward, Abaddon started transferring Aether to her body. That was when he heard an unexpected moan from her mouth that she quickly hid. But he’d already noticed it, ‘The transfer process is so much more effective…’ He thought as he noticed the flow is much more refined as there was practically no inefficiency in the transference of energy.
‘Was that you, Draig?’ He mentally asked but only received an unresponsive snort. ‘I need information on the Boosted Gear…’ He thought but seeing that the process was smoother, he decided to put it on the back burner, focusing on supporting Seekvaira.
When everything was done, she told him with a surprised tone, “You’ll have 6 hours with the 1 to 60 dilation. That’s 15 days. Something was different this time. The effects were better than when we tried this previous times and I don’t feel as tired either.” She looked at him questioningly.
“I tried a new transferring method that is much more efficient.” He told her. He was going to tell her about the Boosted Gear when he’s trained enough to use it in combat.
“Now I feel bad taking so much Aether…” She said. “Nonsense,” He transferred a large amount of Aether into her body in a manner that she was able to store it instead of utilizing it. They’d done this more than once before so it wasn’t very difficult.
With everything done, Seekhvaira disappeared into another teleportation circle that Abaddon cast that took her back to her previous location in the Underworld.
“Now… As for you.” He looked at her with an evil smile on his face as his fingers crackled with lightning.
