DxD: Asura King and His Harem

I banished Prahlada and his son in Sutala Lok but kept his wife and daughter in my palace, to ensure he or his sons don't cook up any scheme, was my official reason. As for the two women who became widow even before their marriage, I took them as my concubines.

Now I know it may create some problem during Vamana avatar of Vishnu (dwarf avatar) as there will be no King Bali to donate the land he covers in 3 steps. But it is still too far in future.

I also don't want Prahlad's line to continue to create challenge for me in future, that's why they were banished or in a way under house arrest all alone. And while his sons are strong they will some day lose the will to live just like their father who is just observing austerity now to gain residence in Vaikuntha, the abode of Vishnu.

But for now, I am focusing on my people and our military might. Now hearing Pataal, you may think it is a dark gloomy place, full of monsters and beasts but that's not the case. Daityas look very similiar to humans if you remove the part where some of them have horns, more than one head, more than 2 arms etc.

Daityas are the one who look like actual monsters and devils (for christians). Some of them have animal body parts, some look like made from elements (fire air water earth and sky) like fire or stone etc.

But still, Pataal is not a dark and gloomy place, we even have our own Sun and Moon. But u fortunately it is also controlled by Surva who is a Deva and God of Sun. We even farm and hunt for food and other resources.

But we are a militaristic society. We believe in war over trade. The only way to rise in our society is through strength. In our society as you grow stronger, you are alloted land in our layer of Pataal to rule and government over. But you have to pay your taxes, follow the law of King and answer his call in condition of war. Just like humans.

So I called all the Maharathi and Atirathi level Daityas and Danavas to choose my ministers from them. I don't need a minister for agriculture as we produce more than enough food for ourselves, don't fave natural calamities and we can't trade that food because Devas and their allied races wouldn't trade with us. As for Rakshas they only eat meat.

Same way I don't need a home and external affairs minister. For mining, whoever discovers the resource own it if they pay taxes to their governor and me, the King. Education and Helath is under Shukracharyaa.

Minister of War, Finance, Trade, Science & Innovation and Prime minister, these are the only ministers I will need currently.

I made Svarbhanu, my cousin and son of my aunt Holika, the Prime minister to appease Danavas and he is a very strong. Because I remember that he will later become the Rahu and Ketu, the only immortal among us denizens of Pataal.

Kalanemi, my brother as he is born from the dieing essence of my father Hiranyaksha, became the war minister. His duty involves training the army and husbandry of war animals.

Mayasura the minister of Science and Innovation, as he is the master of many arts like carpentry, sculpturing, architecture etc and the one who studied science deeply under Shukracharyaa.

As for minister of finance and trade, I didn't find any capable candidates for now but it is not something immediate. I let my father's old minister do the job for now but I will later change him when I find capable person for it.

Next step I took was to order Kalanemi to train a division of women in our army as well as a tribute to my mother Parvati, who is the goddess of women power as well. Many were against this but were immediately shut up after I flared my powers.

Than we discussed the condition of our army as I can't change the condition of trade much and the life of people is good already.

"Pataalraj (means king of Pataal), our army has diminished a lot since the time of your father. First in the war with Devas during your uncle's reign and than the destruction caused by that Vishnu in Narasimha avatar. We have lost a large group of Danavas who are led by my uncles as well as they didn't agree with the rule of Prahlad and decided to rule separately in Gabhastala and Vitala." Svarbhanu told me.

Well I couldn't fault them for this as we were in an alliance not ruling them. I can only fault Prahlad for how easily he let them go and Svarbhanu for how even after being the prince and rightful king of Danavas he has so little control over them.

"Kalanemi, what is the strength of these so called kings that dare to dafy the rule of Daityas." I asked my minister of War.

"Not too much Pataalraj. Just 2 kings who have the military strength of 10 akshauni army each. We can easily overpower them at the same if we want." He told me.

"Hmm. Prepare our army to launch an attack on both of them in a few years time. Complete any preparation you need to do within this time frame. This will be a good testing ground to test my women regiment in the field of battle."

"As you cammand, your majesty." He replied.

"Gurudev, I want you to start training the Daityanis from the public so that they can join our army soon." I told Shukracharyaa.

"Andhaka training women for army has never been done. Are you sure it is the right thing to do. It might destabilise your rule. Afterall women are weaker than men" He warned me.

"I will handle those who try to destabilise my rule. And how can you say that when you yourself is a great devotee of Shiva. Isn't he incomplete without his Shakti. Isn't Shakti the strongest warrior among our world, just as strong as Shiva. Yes they may be physically weaker than us in strength. But you know as well as me that brute strength is not the only way to win a fight. Speed and dexterity is also important and that they have in spades." I said.

After that no one raised their voice against my decision and all agreed to do as I said.
