"Finally awake." Synthia said as her fellow Mature Angels sat up on their beds

"How long have you been awake?" Sera asked

"Only a few minutes." Synthia replied

"I see, do you know if anything happened while we were asleep? Everything seems in order, but you can never be too sure." Sera asked

"No, Colin didn't attack. Infact, Claire said they simply flew away, that's probably the only good news right now." Synthia sighed

"It seems we were lucky." Mr. Ziek said

"Luck had nothing to do with it." Castiel said in a sheepish tone and they all knew what he meant. It was clear from the display of power shown by Colin that he could have killed them at anytime with that insane power boost he got, but he seemed more interested in tormenting them than anything, which was far more terrifying. The memories were still fresh in their minds, and although they have healed from their injuries, they could still remember clearly the pain they felt from being burned in those hellish flames, which made them shiver slightly.

"Oh yeah, did anyone else received the [Hellfire Resistance] trait?" Sera asked and Synthia looked at her confused for a bit, before checking her status.

'Atleast one good thing came out of that fight.' Synthia thought bitterly. Resistance traits are pretty rare and can't be taught like other traits, but gained in dangerous situations where you are exposed to a life threatening amount of a certain affinity. The quality of the energy also plays a part I'm whether you can gain a resistance trait or not, but that makes the condition all the more dangerous.

"So, what will we do now? We lost a very powerful ally due to the schemes of our own followers and because of that we might have a very powerful enemy to worry about in the future." Sera said

"Sorry." Castiel said apologetically

"It's not your fault, you were just a bit...too passionate about destroying demons and that caused you to be tricked easily. But I hope you'll learn from this, and not rush ahead rashly like that again and not be so trusting next time." Synthia said

"Our first order of business should be interrogating that saint Darren, and giving him a fitting punishment." Sera said

"Agreed." Mr. Ziek said and the four of them stood up off their bed and left the underground room. As they passed through the corridors, everyone gave a light bow before going back to their business. After asking a few people, they soon found where the traitorous saint was being.

"Good afternoon, my lords." Darren greeted weakly from inside his cell. Just looking at it, the angels could tell that it was hastily made using [Metal Affinity] and looking at Darren, they guessed he hasn't left this cage since he was placed inside. He looked like he hadn't shaved or taken a bath in a while, his clothes were a mess and his expression was dim, but the Angel's didn't feel sorry for him, not in the slightest.

[Claire, come to the cell area now. And bring the others if you can.] Synthia said through [Telepathy] and within fifteen minutes, Claire and the other six saints arrived.

"Now then, why don't you tell me what prompted you and those other saints to betray us as you did?" Sera asked Darren with a glare and Darren sighed, before telling them what he told Claire and the others over a week ago.

"I see, I'm curious, why do you think we can simply just go out there and hunt demons as we please? You have traveled from City F to here correct, and you have witnessed a few powerful beasts and have seen the devastation than can be caused by two tier 4 demonic creatures when they fight. Even if you had a tier 4 angel on your side, what made you think it was a good idea to go after two of them?" Sera asked and Darren simply held down his head in silence
