During the Dark Ages

Colin stabilized himself in the air and looked at the crab with an irritated look on his face and flew towards the beast as fast as he could. The crab looked at its scorched claw and clacked its mandibles irritatedly before forming ethereal blue lances and swords in the air above its head. The crab sent them zooming through the air towards the rapidly approaching Colin. Seeing the constructs approaching with his [Demon Eyes], he swiftly dodged with smooth aerial maneuvers but he just as he thought he dodged them all, a lance appeared out of nowhere. Luckily, he was quickly able to block with his sword before the lance impaled him in the stomach.

"Shit!!!" Colin exclaimed as the lance suddenly morphed into chains and wrapped around him, causing him to fall to the ground.

As Colin struggled to break the chains, the crab raced towards him swiftly, way faster than any crab should be on land. As the crab clacked its mandible excitedly, it suddenly felt a heavy blow to it's head and suddenly stopped in it's tracks as it used its claws to feel it's cracked carapace. The crab screeched in outrage and looked around for whoever struck it before striking what appeared to be empty space, cracking the ground. Lily suddenly appeared midair with gritted teeth and the beast swung it's open claw swiftly towards while she futilely tried to block. The crab's claws snapped shut around Lily's body, cutting her in half causing her blood and guts to splash onto the ground and the creature's body, but the creature felt that something was wrong. Before her body could hit the ground, Lily turned into pink dust and the crab roared in frustration

Lily suddenly appeared beside Colin, sweat creasing her brows as she panted. She swung her whip onto the chains, freeing Colin once more.

"You need to kill that thing quickly, aim for the joints where the carapace is thinnest." Lily said

"I'll try, but this thing is way too strong for a tier 4 beast." Colin said as he got to his feet

"I know and I would rather not see what other skills it has, I'll try to back you up as much as possible but don't expect much." Lily said and Colin nodded his head. He ran towards the crab as fast as he could, he controlled the small amount of demonic energy he had left in his body, increasing his speed even more. He could feel his blood pumping around his body faster than ever before and he could feel the mark on his chest spreading across his body, filling him with even more vigor. The crab, realizing that it's psychic abilities aren't working as well as it should, decided to become more physical and charged towards Colin as well. The crab swung it's claws at down on Colin and he rolled across the ground, swiftly dodging the attack. Colin quickly got to his feet and swung his sword at one of the creature's exposed joints, severely damaging it.

The crab roared in pain and frustration before turning to face Colin before stabbing at them with one of it's legs but Colin was not afraid. He spun around and kicked the leg away with all his might, before the crab could recover, he jumped into the air and punched the crab in the side of its face, breaking its carapace. Not stopping his assault, Colin punched the crab on the top of it's head, causing it to almost causing it's head to touch the ground. Disoriented, the crab wasn't able to stop Colin from gouging out it's eyes.

The crab screeched in pain as Colin poured hellfire from his hand into the creature's eye. Suddenly, a wave of blue psychic energy sent Colin crashing into the ground and pressed him into as the crab continued to screech. It turned its gaze towards Colin, it's eyes burning with hate, before it lifted its claw in the air. With immense effort, Colin lifted himself off the ground and looked up the crab's raised claw. Just as the crab was about smash it's claws down onto Colin, it felt an immense force impact one of it's right legs, snapping it in half. The crab screeched in pain once more for what felt like the hundredth time and looked behind it at the hateful creature that caused it such pain, but what it saw made it shudder.
