During the Dark Ages

"Is everyone alright?" Lily asked as she got up off the ground coughing and disabled her barrier. Everyone else was also on the ground as they fell when a shockwave from the explosion hit them, but other than that, they were fine. None of the hellfire exited area of the city, leaving it mostly unharmed except for a scorched ground and a few burning trees, but the most important thing was that the vehicles weren't damaged, but the complete opposite was true for the city. The city that was once filled with beasts, destroyed buildings and vehicles, was reduced to nothing but ash, as the hellfire has burned everything away, leaving only a crater at the epicenter of the explosion.

"Colin really did this, this is insane. That attack was like a nuclear bomb." Paul said as he looked at the scene with utter disbelief

"I have no idea what a nuclear bomb is, but I'll assume that's a fair assessment. Let's just hope he doesn't use anymore of those." Lily said

Colin rubbed his temple as his mind regained clarity and he looked at the devastation he had caused. The pain of losing a limb plus the ever increasing mental pressure that wanted to make him go beserk was enough to push him over the edge and cause his savage Demon instinct to take over. This had also cause his [Unique Trait: Shard of Mephistopheles] to activate, boosting his power and helping him to destroy the city.

Looking down, the first thing Colin saw was the crater that was directly below his feet, and inside were four glowing soul crystals. He dropped down into the crater and coughed as the ash entered his nostrils, and he frantically waved his arms. He retrieved the crystals, one belonging to the Earth Mole and the other three belonging to the fire bees, and placed them into his storage ring. Suddenly, he heard a weak caw a few meters away and flew out of the crater. There, lying on the ground, was the golden eagle, a once mighty beast now pitifully lying on the ground. It's feathers have lost their beautiful luster as they were covered in ash and scorched by hellfire, one of it's eyes looked like it had been scorched out and it's beak was scorched black, losing its durability. Looking at the beast, Colin wondered how the beast was still alive, but soon lost interest as he raised his sword into the air. He stabbed the beast in the neck, killing it in a single strike.

"Now, what the hell am I going to do about this?" Colin said as he looked at the stump left behind by his missing hand. Suddenly, the ground started to shake violently and a loud scraping sound echoed across the entire city. Colin's eyes were drawn to a different part of the city, where he could see a mound being formed and out of the ground came a large aqua blue crab, about the size of a truck, with beady red eyes that somehow portrayed it's anger. It had small mandibles on it's face as well as two large, dark blue, sinister looking claws that snapped loudly and repeatedly, showing it's anger even more. It had six long legs and a shell that seemed impenetrable. Colin could feel it's gaze on him, but he also felt something else, a powerful mental pressure, similar to the one from before but this one had a different purpose. He could feel it trying to dominate his mind and suppressing his will, but he wouldn't allow it, he wouldn't allow himself to be dominated by a lowly beast.
