Dungeon Overlord: Monster Girl Harem!

Chapter 244: The Annoying Lord's Plea!

Lord Assquat.

A hopelessly fat man with a receding blond hairline and dull blue eyes.

His body was so round that he waddled with each step and gasped after a few metres. Leonhardt frowned at the man's gaudy clothes. He wore too much gold thread and used precious silk from the southern desert.

"Vasha, you look as beautiful as the Cariban Desert." His horrible voice was enough to make Leonhardt's ears bleed.

Hard to describe, like a male cat's mating call mixed with a pig's snort.

It might be half charming if Leonhardt didn't hear the aide beside him whispering the lines a moment before, a lanky male with messy brown hair and a perverted gaze directed at Vasha.

"L-Lord Assquat, what brings you to our humble stall?" Vasha's lips trembled; she pulled her clothes tightly, as if hoping to hide from him.

The fat man stepped closer and smiled. "Oh, well I was on my way to inspect the new merchants coming to our town this week when I heard a rather pleasant conversation."

"I see."

Leon held back his chuckle, covering his face after seeing her blatantly ignore his enthusiasm. She struggled not to lash out or look too annoyed.

"Ahem." He coughed, but no one paid him any attention. "Ahem!" The man repeated himself, clearly upset that they were all ignoring him.

"How rude, to ignore the great lord's words!" His lanky aide with unwashed hair accosted Leonhardt and the group in a dramatic style, which caused Vasha and Alba's shoulders to shudder.

"My lord... that wasn't my intention!"

"Hmmp, I don't believe you for a moment."

His eyes turned from her to Alba, who was standing beside his cart, preparing food and sorting ingredients.

"Is this how you teach your woman, when a man of high, noble character speaks to her. She should do her best to entertain him!"

His words made Leonhardt's skin crawl, but most of the merchants pulled back their carts and stopped selling as if this scene was familiar enough to be considered normal.

"Ah... Sorry my lord." Alba bowed his head, his body still trembling. He wasn't angry or scared but just sickened by everything that was happening around them.

"Oi, Alba. You don't have to bow to this tub of lard."

"Eh!?"

"Hueh!?"

Both of Leon's recruits looked stunned. Lord Assquat might have been someone of minor importance, but his connections to the north and the capital nobles were deep. The moment he turned to look at Leonhardt with an arrogant gaze... his face turned from a dark red to ghostly white.

"W-who is this!? Who dares insult me like that? Y-You... what kind of freak are you!?"

Tall, bronzed skin with black patterns and a gemstone in his chest... Leonhardt looked both daunting and dashing, his golden eyes carrying an uncanny shimmer as if two suns floated within. "A handsome one."

Leonhardt didn't take the humans' reaction seriously; he knew how attractive he looked. From Zafira and Nyxara's reactions to his changes, their affection and obsession increased at least fourfold.

"I am the Lord of Luka city, from the new kingdom of Embervale. Here to recruit talented individuals." He glanced at Alba and Vasha, who seemed confused.

"Recruit? H-How dare you recruit in my territory!" The fat man jiggled with anger.

"Do you think I care about what some fat human has to say?"

Leonhard stepped forward and took a cloak from his inventory, wrapping it over Vasha, "You should only show yourself to your beloved husband; no longer will you have to feel this pressure and insult."

Alba clenched his fists, his face watching Leonhardt, who smiled back at him with a nod.

"Brother, protect your wife. I will take care of protecting your dream."

The man almost collapsed, his knees shaking while looking up at the figure of Leonhardt's broad shoulders.

"Guards! Guards!" Lord Assquat cried out in rage.

"Why are you calling guards, Asshat?"

With the snap of his fingertips, two dark elf warriors wrapped in alluring black leather and nightweb cloaks, their belts and clothes stitched together with Arachne silk.

"Husba—Master!"

"Master!"

These girls watched in secret as he destroyed their matriarch. Thus, their adoration and obsession for him exploded, their eyes glowing like torches and curved elven blades at their waists.

The guards called by Lord Assquat, however, were aged... wearing worn, patched armour and carrying cheap, rusted weapons.

"Lord!"

"M-My Lord!"

Lord Assquat watched Leonhardt with a strange gaze.

But when he noticed the dark elves, he turned away from them as if scared, then pointed to the trio standing beside Alba's stall.

Leonhardt's eyes narrowed.

The moment the fat noble saw his guards, his eyes showed the same hungry look he had towards Vasha. It seemed that dark elves and their sensual figures triggered the lust of Lord Assquat.

"Kill that man! Arrest these women who have broken our rules! Bring them to the 'dungeon' hehehe."

"Haaa..."

With a long sigh, Leonhardt wondered if he should just kill the noble here and take control of the village, but he knew that this might cause many of the humans to become scared. "I will spare your life, for now." He announced coldly as he watched Lord Asquatt and his guards rushing towards him. "But you've angered me."

The guards stopped dead, one of them holding out his spear with trembling hands, the others too weak to move.

Leonhardt's aura exploded, causing a pressure to weigh down on anyone who dared oppose him, like an ancient dragon staring down a group of pitiful mortals.

"Ah..."

"Eh..."

A smell wafted through the air, something foul, like rotten eggs and boiled cabbage, as the men around Leonhardt all wet themselves in fear.

"Girls, if you defeat those guards without killing them, and teach this Lord a lesson, next time I sleep with your Matrairch I'll let you join in." He whispered, just enough so that they could hear him, but it caused both elves to swoon and giggle like naughty children hearing a secret.

Their ears snapped straight, eyes became sharp and deadly, like wolves in the night.

"W-What's going on!?"

"Yes! Haaaah~ my King~"

But they slipped up in their excitement, hearing the word 'king,' both Vasha and Alba's faces twitched; their eyes watched the tall monster who stood with folded arms and a smirk as the Dark Elves became mist and vanished.

"Girls... you messed up."

"Eh?!"

"Master no!"

They suddenly appeared again, holding a guard each in their hands, their bodies trembling and limp due to their aura.

"Hm?" He looked at Vasha, whose mouth opened wide. "What's up?" His lips curl into a wide grin.

"N-Nothing, My Lord!"

"Just call me Leon, it's fine." His voice remained soft and charming.

Lord Assquat squealed and tried to escape. His face red with anger or exertion, but he fell onto the ground before he could. Then a puddle of wetness grew under his opulent figure, which trembled while looking up at Leonhardt.

"Are you scared of me human?" Leonhardt stepped closer, but halted at the disgusting scent of ammonia and sourness that assaulted his nose.

"Ugh!" Leonhardt turned his face away and returned to Alba's stall.

"You... how could you treat me like this... I...I am the lord of this land!"

Well, that's true for now...

Leonhardt closed his eyes, the view of the dungeon growing beneath him, all the monsters spread through the land, currently listening and waiting for his call while enjoying a peaceful day.

Goblins, wolves, dark elves, orcs... he even summoned a few slimes to help with public sanitation.

It's great slimes will even dissolve anything they absorb... and they have no sense of taste.

He used slimes in Embervale to clean the streets and sewage.

Lina helped Hanz create magic tools using slime golems and magic to make toilets for all the houses. Each house was connected to these pipes, filled with slime and water, to remove waste.

Leonhardt was worried about disease, and thankfully, through the herbs created by his Minister of Growth, Mossi and Zafira, he heard that humans in other countries had developed a System of plumbing.

Thanks to the special use of slime and Mossi's alchemy, they created these unique tools.

Using a living slime felt a little too much. Though when we first tried using slimes...

There was the issue of a slimy substance entering a woman's body, and since that day, she no longer used the slime in her toilet. She learned that the slime would take the shape of anything it absorbed, and you could train it to take that shape when desired.

That marked the beginning of Zafira and Mossi's unusual side project.

Leonhardt's mind wandered to a dark place as she glared at the fat noble.

"Well, can you stop crying at least?"

The man had tears streaming down his cheeks as he squirmed away from Leonhardt.

"Guards!" His voice screeched out like a high-pitched wail with arms flailing in the air, trying to get away.

However, Leonhardt didn't know how to face this pathetic human; he expected something different after meeting Bishop Henry and his people in Lukas City. But now he saw just how rotten and corrupt the upper classes could be.

"I wonder if you will taste like chicken?"

He mumbled to himself, but it caused Lord Assquat to tremble in terror.

"Please!? Don't Eat me!"
