Dungeon Overlord: Monster Girl Harem!

Chapter 237: An Unexpected Find in Enemy territory

"State your name and business."

Leonhardt watched the stern guard calmly.

The man trembled upon meeting his gaze—the tremble in his shoulders and increased breathing were subtle, but Leonhardt noticed.

"Leo, and pleasure. These are my wives."

No mincing of words, Leon avoided needless troubles with honesty. He wrapped both Olga and Nyxara's waists with his large hands and caressed their soft hips. The guard observed both women and swallowed hard.

The dark elves also squealed at his words, before Nyxara huffed, and they became quiet.

"I-I see..."

With a quivering voice, the guards' stern atmosphere faltered, and he checked the documents and information that Leonhardt handed over.

"You are Adventurers?"

"Of course we are, little man." Nyxara flicked a dagger along her fingers with highly skilled and technical movements, before tossing it up and letting it slide into the sheath tied to her thigh with a low click. "Is there an issue?"

The seductive aura of Nyxara was almost like a thick mist that captured the interest and focus of the men around them.

So even if they call dark elves dirty, they'll still look at them like this... hypocrites.

"Is everything alright?" Leonhardt asked.

"O-Oh~ you can enter, just don't cause any troubles!"

Leonhardt's chest throbbed with magic—he loathed the gaze that this human was casting on Nyxara's body, although hidden by cloth, his gaze was like a drill boring into her flesh.

I will kill you

I will kill you

His voice echoed repeatidly in his mind, growing deeper and more aggressive.

The obsessive and intense feelings grew stronger as if to match Leonhardt's growth. He wanted his women to remain close, to protect and keep them safe.

At first, there was only lust and the pleasure of sex, but after spending so long together, he started developing a deep and passionate bond.

"..."

Leonhardt smirked at the trembling guard.

As the gate opened, he never stopped glaring at the male who tried to see Nyxara's breasts in the gap of her clothes.

[Wow, I didn't realise that Leonhardt could be so jealous...]

(Don't you think he'd destroy half the world if anything happened... why don't you manifest naked? See if our dear chimaera will blind all those who see our form!)

[Dravanna!]

(Don't shout at me~ we both know that he would go crazy after showing your form!)

Ifrit didn't respond because Leonhardt also remained silent about their exchange.

A sign that it could be true.

***

The large village, with wooden walls and half-built stone walls, looked quite mismatched and a little quaint. Leonhardt noticed the original village shape, while the newly built buildings lacked the same atmosphere.

"Welcome!" A more lightly dressed guard shouted as the group arrived; they weren't stopped or checked at the gate, and quickly made their way down the streets towards a tavern.

What struck Leonhardt was that the architecture looked nothing like inside the basin, none of the buildings were taller than two stories, and the roads were dirty and filled with litter.

"Why do they not pick up trash?" Leonhardt asked Nyxara, who chuckled and shook her head in response.

"My Lord, don't compare these humans to your great vision."

Great Vision... isn't it just common sense?

Leonhardt created a law to make throwing waste in the streets illegal in his cities, towns and villages. Because of its importance, the punishment was severe. Those who littered were fined, then executed on the second offence if the person didn't pay or couldn't pay the fine.

"Haa..." He sighed, noticing several young boys throwing stones at one another.

"I got you!"

"Slay the evil monsters!"

They jumped around, while a few children wore grey cloth that resembled armour, two children wore darker cloaks and dirt on their faces, which resembled the so-called monsters.

Nyxara and Olga continued to hold Leon's arms even after entering the village, both quietly observing the surroundings with sparkling eyes. A small market was bustling with dozens of people buying food, pelts, and low-level magic tools.

"It seems difficult to own a shop..." He noticed the difference with Astra, which held a market only twice a week, and most people would sell thier wares in a store instead.

However, there were many merchants, "Selling cheap Horn Rabbit meat!" their voices echoed along the road, with some middle-aged men, others using pretty women, but little in the way of an actual shop.

"King, I think it's easier for humans to travel and live like this." Olga mentioned, "I am unfamiliar with this style of trade as my people would simply exchange goods."

"You're right, it seems a more primitive method of trading, but... I imagine its due to the lack of currency in smaller villages." Leonhardt muttered—his parallel thoughts allowed him to analyse the surroundings and people separately.

"Hello handsome~ see anything you like?" A sultry voice called out, catching Leonhardt's attention, her stall full of sizzling meat on a portable stove, cooked by a stern middle-aged man and other meats hung on hooks...

"Olga, Nyxara, are you hungry?"

Though Dungeon Monsters didn't need food, Olga, who came from the descendants of dungeon monsters and Nyxara, who exchanged skinship with Leonhardt daily, allowed them to evolve and transform. This change permitted simple meals to help restore energy and mana.

"Hello there, I am kind to beauties and skilled men. Could I get three servings of each type of meat? I will leave the cooking to your skilled husband, his hands and movements show the level of his trade."

The woman's cheeks turned red, likely from a combination of Leonhardt's handsome face, his praise for her beauty, and the man beside her, although he wasn't particularly good-looking; their movements, however, did entertain Leonhardt.

It's like seeing the villagers in Arlet working hard...

Leonhardt didn't like humans, but a hard-working and skilled human.

Maybe he could like them.

Once Leonhardt spoke, the old man, who had remained focused on the grill, looked up, his stubble messy, but Leonhardt didn't mind.

"Are you intersted, in a little spice?" He asked.

"D-Darling, those spices..."

The worried mistress seemed worried, but Leonhardt liked the sharp look in the male's eyes. "Give me your best, if it's delicious and my wives like it. I'll reward you."

"You're on!"

Leon watched as the male flicked his pouch of spices, sprinkling a little on each skewer and grilling the meat over the flames. Each time the fire billowed, an intense scent filled the air, stirring the juices in Leonhardt's mouth.

Woosh!

A huge flame shot up, the man's magic adding a final caramelised finish.

"Here," He said, placing the food onto a stick and cutting it into small pieces before putting them in front of each monster.

Before he tasted the meat, Leonhardt placed two gold coins on the table—the skewers only cost one silver coin for three. "This isn't the reward, but a tip for how beautifully a human used their magic, like a dance."

Both the man and the woman opened their mouths wide, but Leonhardt didn't care. He slipped the first skewer with a bright red paste and chicken-like meat into his mouth.

Chew!

Soft, silky and succulent, the meat melted and a spicy tomato flavour spread through his mouth... "Oh?" Leonhardt raised his eyebrows while chewing the delicious food. Olga's face was bright red, her tongue unable to take the spice.

Nyxara looked fine with the spiciness, eyes sparkling as she devoured the two chicken-type skewers. "Good!" She covered her mouth, shocked at her words. "Human... this is good, really good! Have pride, that a dark elf matriarch enjoyed your craft!"

Leonhardt almost coughed on his skewer, forgetting sometimes that Nyxara was someone important... to him, she was just a perverted elf who liked to have her buttocks licked.

"Your words are too much!"

The man took pride in his craft, and Leonhardt had already started considering taking this village just to secure the man and his wife.

But also the wife, because her mana lingered in the spices. It meant she had arranged them while her husband combined the meat with each of the spices.

"Dear master... my tongue..."

Olga's face looked cute; despite being bronze in colour, she now looked bright pink. The male offered a pale yoghurt with a bitter smile.

So Leon picked up the small cup and swallowed the yoghurt. The sweet yet sour taste spread through his mouth and wrapped around his tongue.

Before Olga could react, he grabbed her chin and lifted it.

His movements were so swift that she watched in stupefaction as his lips touched hers, pushing his tongue into her mouth with a single motion.

"Mmmmph!?

Her eyes opened wide, Leon's eyes staring into hers as the sour cream became creamier and sweeter thanks to the orc's saliva and soft tongue pushing back against his.

There was no resistance—instead, her hands gripped his arms, and she stepped onto her tiptoes, which amused Leonhardt.

"..."

The man watched the pair with a smile.

He nodded before looking at his wife as he stroked his messy stubble.

"Young love, how nostalgic."

"Oh you~ we have customers."
