Desperate to escape, the bounty girl and Al leaped from cube to cube, searching for a way out. But as Al jumped to the next platform, his foot slipped, leaving him clinging to the edge with only his hands to save him. Seeing him in danger, the bounty girl didn't hesitate—she launched herself toward his cube. Grabbing his hand, she tried to pull him up, but the cube tilted under their weight. Both lost their balance and plunged into the abyss. Gasping for air, the bounty girl jolted awake, quickly followed by Al."

(What just happened? Weren't we just falling? Am I... even alive?)

The bounty girl stood up, her mind racing, and slapped Al hard across the face.

"Ow! What the hell was that for?"

(He felt that slap... and my hand's stinging, so we must be alive. But was all that just a dream?)

[Al Mimicking the bounty girl]

"Sire, we have located the person who you are looking for!"

"She's currently being held in the dungeon of Sector 2. Our men have also reported that a group of humans are stationed at the dungeon's entrance, preventing anyone from getting inside."
