"That was a nice attack. Your point went up by two hundred? Wait, seriously? You got two hundred points for killing ten Gammas?"

While Tyler was busy doing his cool pose, Anna's voice woke him up.

Tyler turned back and looked at the remaining Gammas. There were at least eight of them left.

Seeing these eight Gammas, Tyler instantly prepared himself.

But they were prepared for him as well. They put away their swords and raised their hands.

Pointing their palms towards Tyler, they shot a powerful blast of white beam towards Tyler.

When Tyler saw this, his eyes narrowed as he tried to gauge the extent of damage it could do.

But the beam was too fast. Before he could even think, it struck him with full force.

"Oh shit! Tyler!"

Anna panicked when she saw him getting attacked. Seeing that not only did Tyler not dodge it, he also didn't defend it.

It wasn't that unexpected. These Gammas could fire beams that could travel at the speed of light.

Although the concentration of the beam would drastically decrease the speed, it wasn't something that a person could dodge easily.

When she got near Tyler, those Gammas had stopped firing the beam.

But instead of charred or battered Tyler, what came out was intact Tyler.

Not even his clothes were broken by the beam of light.

Then again, it made sense. His clothes were supposed to transfer damage to his body.

That meant as long as he could bear the impact, the clothes wouldn't get damaged.

"Wow! You didn't get hurt. Although the temperature of the beam isn't high enough to melt a cultivator of your realm, it should be strong enough to cause severe damage."

"But you took it like nothing happened."

Anna stopped in front of him and started chattering nonstop, praising Tyler.

But she couldn't hide the genuine shock in her eyes.

"My body is a lot stronger than you can imagine. Though I should end them right now."

Tyler said as his body suddenly disappeared like a bolt of lightning. His legs were covered with lightning while his hand was coated with Sword Intent.

With his hands clutched on the hilt of his sword, he passed through each of them.

Every time he crossed a Gamma, his sword would unsheathe and slash at an extraordinary speed.

By the time those Gammas reacted. He was already standing behind them with the sword only half-sheathed.

Clack!

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!

Eight different slashes appeared on their bodies. Eight Gammas fell to the ground at the same time.

He whispered as he turned around.

Once again, the numbers over his head increased. But this time, it went from two hundred to four hundred forty.

"440! Tsk! I'm getting jealous, Tyler. You are getting three times more points for every Gamma you kill."

"As if you were made for this."

While Anna did say that, she didn't show any jealousy. Not even a tinge appeared on her face.

"Of course, I'm. So, where are we going next?"

Tyler asked.

"Follow me! And, on the way, let me kill some Gammas as well."

"Okay!"

As he said that, they started running towards the red pillar. Along the way, they encountered a lot of Gammas.

One thing that Tyler noticed was how different these Gammas were from the previous ones.

If those Gammas represented monsters, these Gammas represented trained soldiers.

And, their moves were also quite flashy, especially when they tried to use their swords.

Their moves weren't refined enough, but they had enough lethality to cut anything as long as it wasn't swordsmanship-related.

Because their moves didn't consist of true swordsmanship. So, while fighting a swordsman, they would often resort to their repulsers.

As they kept moving towards the red pillar, Anna kept asking him about his previous move.

Screaming Death!

It was quite a unique move. Even he had to put everything he learned about swordsmanship and lightning element to execute this move.

This move required him to channel lightning into the shape of a cross slash, but so tiny and in such a high number that it was impossible to defend against.

What made this move even more difficult was infusing sword intent into each of those slashes.

There were nearly thousands of those slashes, and each must have an equal amount of Sword Intent into it.

If he hadn't practiced Golden Essence Sword Art before, he wouldn't be able to perform this attack with such fine detail.

"So, is this the first checkpoint?" Tyler asked, looking around. There weren't a lot of people in this checkpoint.

It was one large red pillar that kept radiating red light.

'Come to think of it, there weren't a lot of people we encountered on the way.'

"Are you surprised? Well, you don't have to be. Think about it for a moment. The main attraction of this place is the Lightning Sword God Inheritance."

"In other words, everyone who comes here is a swordsman or a lightning element user. Both of them are rare."

Hearing that, Tyler stared at her for a moment.

Seeing this gaze, Anna raised her hand, and small bolts of lightning emerged on her finger.

"Yeah! I have dual elements, the Spiritual Root. Lightning And Wind Element."

Tyler nodded his head and asked.

"Should we continue to the second checkpoint?"

"Hold on! You have to understand something. This dimension is different from Elithrin. In that dimension, there were cities and walls protecting people."

"Here, we don't have that. At best, we have these pillars that keep Gammas away. But once you leave this pillar, they will jump you."

"While most of the Gammas are between Foundation Realm to Core Formation Realm, there are also many Gammas with Exploding Core strength."

"And, there are a few Gammas with Golden Core Realm strength. That being said, we won't find them here. But even so, that's Exploding Core Realm strength."

"Are you sure you can take them?"

"I can."

Tyler replied with a serious expression.

Anna stared at him for a moment and said.

"Until the third checkpoint, most of the Gamma we encounter will be around the Foundation Realm. Then, there will be none of them."

"Every single Gamma outside the third checkpoint will have Core Formation. Outside the fourth checkpoint, you will encounter some Exploding Core strength Gamma."

"Finally, outside the fifth dimension, you will only find Exploding Core strength Gamma. So, what should we do? It's your call."

Hearing that, Tyler thought for a moment.

'Although I am not afraid of Exploding Core Realm Gamma, it would be troublesome if we face too many of those.'

He nodded his head and spoke.

"It is best not to encounter Exploding Core strength Gamma before the fifth checkpoint."

Hearing that, Anna chuckled and said.

"Are you saying Core Formation strength Gammas are a breeze for you?"

"It was just a joke." When she saw him trying to explain, Anna speechlessly replied.

"Let's go! It's better to cross the second checkpoint and reach the third checkpoint before nightfall."

She said while pointing at the sky.

Tyler also noticed how the white light around him was turning red. It seemed to be the effect of sunset.

Soon, they made their way to the second checkpoint. On the way, Tyler kept slashing those Gammas.

As he kept killing, his combat experience also started growing. Once again, he was entering Zone state in the middle of a battle.

Even if it was just for a moment.

While reaching near the third checkpoint, Tyler thought to himself.
