Chapter 131: Versus Golden Core Cultivator Part 2
'So, this is it—Element, Law, Intent, Law. I haven't comprehended Lightning Law. Even with my mastery of Lightning Dao, I didn't receive it as a reward.'
'And, my Swordsmanship is only at Sword Intent Realm. My Sword Intent needs to be merged with the Sword Law. Otherwise, I can't counter his attacks.'
Just as Tyler thought, the Golden-Core cultivator raised his hand, and a massive fire palm appeared above Tyler.
This palm was coming towards him at an incredible rate, the sheer heat burning the ground underneath him.
'If I want to stop it, I have to try something different. Is it ready yet?'
Tyler thought to himself and closed his eyes for a split second.
'No, it's not. Let's do that!'
He moved his hands to the side, releasing the spiritual energy into the ground. Soon, that spiritual energy transformed into lightning energy.
The lightning shattered, passing through the ground, passing through several objects, and charging them with lightning as much as he could.
When the palm had reached a certain height, he simply raised his arms.
Crack! Crack! Crack
The ground shook. The soil rose, turned into a thick rock, rising towards the pillars.
"What? Didn't he just release lightning energy? Wait, Electromagnetism. He is using lightning to magnetize soil temporarily."
The Golden Core cultivator was stunned before he quickly realized what Tyler was doing.
This was a good move. Although they had been cultivating for fifty years, they hadn't truly forgotten scientific development.
It's just that to develop a satellite and send it to space was of no use unless they could create a massive space station enough to house thousands of people.
Because these Dimension invasions would easily destroy those things. Not to mention, many monsters could fly in the air and space.
Likewise, only safe cities had towers to transmit a signal. Even the cables underwater had been removed, which caused a massive decline in the internet.
Fortunately, they had enough safe cities around the continent to send radio signals using just towers.
They didn't use underground or undersea cables simply because most of those areas would be around the monster's lair.
So, the science wasn't abandoned. It was improving at an alarming rate. So, Tyler's magnetizing the ground with lightning made the man admire the boy.
"Good, but it won't be enough!"
Boom!
The palm fell down with so much power that it melted the soil upon contact. Underneath the layer of soil, Tyler had created two massive drills.
As they collided against the palm, they were also turned into magma, demagnetizing them.
[Heavenly Lightning Net]
Suddenly, two massive balls of lightning inside the soil exploded and turned into a massive net.
The magma curved and started surrounding the palm. The palm tried melting it, but it could no longer affect the magma.
The heat from the palm was high, but it had reached its limit.
In the sky, a large ball of magma appeared.
Bang!
Tyler instantly dashed away as the lightning net disappeared and the ball fell to the ground, creating a massive crater on the ground.
'Haaa! Just to block one attack, I spend so much spiritual energy. No, I still have that attack.'
Tyler gathered the chaotic force on his sword before dashing towards the golden core cultivator.
When the golden core cultivator sensed him, he released his fire energy, creating a sword out of his fire.
Holding the sword in his hand, he waited for Tyler's attack with a nonchalant attitude.
But just when Tyler appeared in front of him, their eyes met.
[Demonic Gaze]
Tyler's Demon God Eyes were activated, sending a crazy influx of mental energy, penetrating through the man's eyes and reaching his soul.
As they say, 'Eyes are the windows to the soul'.
Since it was a window and an open window, why shouldn't he use it?
Tyler's mental energy entered the Golden Core cultivator's soul.
Normally, if any cultivator, even those practicing soul techniques, had done this, they would've gone insane.
The Golden core cultivators had a true soul, not a scattered one, not a weak one, but a complete and powerful soul.
So, the man didn't even care when the mental energy entered his consciousness.
In fact, in his eyes, Tyler gave him easy access to his brain.
But when it reached, it contacted, the man realized something was wrong.
"Demon! Fucking hell! You are a demonic cultivator. That wasn't a killing aura; it was your demonic aura."
The man screamed at Tyler's face as he saw Tyler swinging his sword towards him.
The sword was coming down straight at his face. If he did nothing, that should easily cut through his skull.
But how could he let Tyler do it?
Even though his mind was messy, he had already formed the sword with his fire energy.
He simply disintegrated the fire energy into a shield and used it.
Bang!
As the sword collided with the shield, a massive explosion took place. The sword managed to pierce through the shield.
But at the same time, the fire energy also burned his energy. If it weren't for Chaotic Force having devouring ability, that would've destroyed his sword as well.
Of course, the man suddenly raised his hand.
While the explosion occurred, he let the shield stop the sword for a few seconds. He needed these few seconds to clear the demonic energy in his brain.
It was corrupting his soul. Although the influence wouldn't be much, his soul would still be tainted with the demonic energy.
And, the demonic energy that Tyler could control.
So, no, he wasn't going to let that happen. He simply destroyed that energy, and he did it within just a few seconds.
His consciousness returned to his body as he raised his hand and caught the sword with two fingers.
Crack! Bang!
He released some power into his fingers, breaking the sword in half as Tyler stared with sheer disbelief.
But that disbelief soon turned into a strong motivation as he released his lightning energy and flung himself back.
But the Golden Core Cultivator appeared behind him, pressed him on the shoulder.
"You don't understand, do you?"
His palm released the fire energy. It was so intense that it started burning his Holy Thunder Armor.
Even though he was using real lightning, it wasn't strong enough.
"I am not just an ordinary Golden Core Cultivator. I am at the peak. I am like one step away from reaching Law Condensing Realm."
"Originally, I was feeling guilty for killing you. After all, you could've been the greatest strength for humanity."
"But now, I fucking don't care. You are not a human anymore. You are a demon."
"This makes sense, why you could earn that title. The traitors like you can do anything for power. Tell me, what did you do? For this kind of talent."
The man spoke with a serious expression as his fire energy destroyed his armor and spread to his clothes.
"Tell me, something! Where do the other demonic cultivators get their power from?"
Tyler asked.
The man was genuinely surprised as he replied. Although he couldn't see Tyler's face, he didn't think Tyler was lying.
His tone was filled with curiosity.
"So, you don't know much about a demonic cultivator. I guess you didn't even realize you had made a contract with the Omegas."
"Well, I guess, telling you this won't change anything. The creatures inside the Dimensional Rifts have been divided into four ranks."
"Normally, every Dimensional Rift has one Omega, but this Omega can't enter Earth or our universe."
"But it can pass its power through Alphas and Betas. They are the true holder of Omega's power."
"And, some humans to gain strength, sign a contract with Alpha and Beta. It seems like there has been a Beta Creature that has invaded Earth, and we know nothing about him."
"If it were Alpha, we would've sensed his energy. So, it can only be Beta. So, tell us, Tyler, who is the Beta that contacted you? At least die as a human, not a traitor."
Hearing this, Tyler got a pretty good idea of how the creatures of the Dimensional Rifts were divided.
Gamma, Beta, Alpha, and Omega.
He turned around. The man didn't stop him. But he frowned when he saw a crazy smile on his face.
"You are wrong about one thing. I didn't sign contracts. This is my power, something that belongs to no one but me."
"And, haven't you ever questioned why I struck you with the lightning after we crossed ten kilometers away from the city?"
When he said that, the man's senses flared up. He could feel an intense danger. So, he tried to run away.
But Tyler caught his waist, pulling him over him as Tyler spoke with a crazy smile.
"Just because I almost lost an arm injuring that man in an auction doesn't mean I can't create even more powerful explosions."
"I was just stalling you to make necessary preparations."
"Let's die, son of bitch!"
As his words ended, the purple ball in his hand glowed with a bright purple light.
The fire on the golden core cultivator erupted wildly as he roared.
"Nooooo!"
Boom!
