Chapter 262 – Tianlong's Approach Changes Slightly
"Y-you—!" Sabrina's body jolted the moment his words registered, her trembling hand yanking back from his crotch as if she'd touched molten iron.
Her claws retracted instinctively, pupils dilating as she stumbled backward, her bare legs scraping against the newly sprouted grass beneath them.
But before she could retreat further, her instincts kicked in—pure animalistic reflex triggered by his disrespectful words.
She swung her hand forward with brutal speed, fingers sharpening into blade-like claws mid-swing, aiming straight for his chest.
The strike was lethal, meant to carve through bone and pierce his heart.
Tianlong's eyes widened for a split second—not due to fear but rather due to a memory flashing in his mind of the same hand piercing him an hour ago. But this time his jaws clenched as he remained unflinching.
Her nails entered his body, phasing through his robed chest without resistance—passing clean through like he wasn't even there.
The black butterfly on his shoulder pulsed faintly, its wings glowing violet as it rendered him intangible.
'!'
"What—!?" Sabrina's eyes snapped wide, confusion flooding her features as she felt nothing solid beneath her claws.
She tried to turn her flat, blade-like hand into a claw to push more, but she felt the air becoming thick like liquid metal, causing her to pull back immediately, her predatory senses screaming danger.
But her hand stopped mid-retreat.
A dense coating of pure Qi suddenly wrapped around her entire body, locking her movements in place like invisible chains had clamped down on her limbs.
Her purple-black mixed-striped pupils flared with shock, muscles straining against the energy binding her.
"Did you just dare to lay a hand on someone else's husband?"
The voice came from behind her, cold and sharp enough to cut through steel.
Sabrina's head jerked toward the source, her jaw clenching tight as her gaze locked onto Akane, who stood with one hand raised, fingers curled in a controlling gesture.
The fox woman's golden eyes burned with restrained fury, her nine tails swaying like agitated serpents behind her.
"Did your mother not teach you some basic etiquette, to a brat like you?"
Sabrina flinched.
Her entire body went rigid, not from the Qi binding—but from those words.
Her jaws clenched so hard her canines pressed into her lower lip, drawing a thin line of blood that trickled on her tattoo, which seemed to vanish, revealing her tiger stripes like some illusion. Her eyes trembled, pupils shrinking as they locked onto Akane's face.
"I said..." Sabrina's voice came out low, trembling with barely restrained rage as she recalled how after she arrived here, this woman seemed to ignore her completely while she challenged her for a fight or at least tried to inquire if she was the one who did that blast. She just said how she had promised a woman not to kill anyone from the tiger clan.
But now this woman is saying as if she knows her mother?
Sabrina couldn't help but shake her head slowly, her wild mane of orange, black, and white hair whipping around her face. "First, you claim you know my mother, and now you... again, bringing her up."
Her hand—the one still caught in Akane's Qi restraint—began trembling violently.
The dense energy coating her body was strong enough to paralyze even a Great Vehicle Realm cultivator, yet Sabrina's raw physical strength started pushing against it.
The Qi, which should've been as solid as metal, began churning around her trembling fingers.
Tianlong's eyes narrowed as he observed, his gaze of calm cracking slightly.
'She's breaking through it... just by brute force?'
The Qi density around Sabrina's hand warped, then cracked like brittle glass.
With a guttural snarl, she shattered the restraint completely, her clawed hand breaking free.
She stood upright, chest heaving, her striped tattoos glowing faintly as raw power radiated off her body in waves.
She turned fully toward Akane while again shrouded in the same Qi which unlike before now acted as dense water, heavy but her brute force allowing her minimal movement, ignoring Tianlong entirely now, her sharp-striking eyes blazing with something darker than anger—pain mixed with fury.
But Akane didn't even acknowledge her.
Instead, she stepped forward gracefully, her delicate hand lifting to rest on Tianlong's robed chest.
Her fingers, soft and gentle, pressed against the black fabric as she looked up at him with those sharp golden eyes turning from cold to calm and then gentle as if looking at her world.
"Were you talking about this woman, husband?" Akane's voice was sweet, almost soft—unlike how, for an hour, she was deciding to act tough and hate him for throwing her outside and doing it with another woman.
She couldn't even hate him now.
Tianlong blinked, glancing back at Sabrina.
The tiger woman was retreating now, but not in fear—she was moving backward deliberately, her body still fighting against the Qi clinging to her body like dense jelly.
The dense energy concentrated around her movements, but instead of struggling desperately, she seemed to be... enjoying it?
Her hand moved to her wild hair, ruffling it casually, her canines flashing as she grinned at him with clear intrigue.
Like this was some kind of training session under high gravity she loved to have.
Tianlong's lips twitched, seeing her so composed while clearly practicing under that Qi, he decided to pull her attention a bit here.
'This woman...'
"No," he said simply, his tone shifting colder as he addressed Akane. "It was not that woman."
He deliberately changed his wording—Akane knew they'd be under attack, but he hadn't expected her to know this woman personally.
Hell, he hadn't expected Sabrina to be standing next to Akane like they were longtime buddies—though he could guess from her words.
This world was far more complicated than he'd anticipated.
Especially given Sabrina's monstrous physical strength.
She'd broken through Akane's Qi restraint with nothing but raw muscle—something that shouldn't be possible for anyone below the Immortal Emperor Realm through just brute force.
Normally breaking Qi using Qi is possible as energy collides energy, but raw muscular strength to pull that off is not possible until one reaches the Immortal Emperor Realm, though someone one rank below Akane using Qi can break it.
This world power system of body cultivation was too intriguing.
'I need to know more about her.' Tianlong would have killed this woman—or at least injured her using his system strength, and it was more than possible.
Now, with Xiang added as a cheat, he could have left this ancient realm, but instead, he wanted to get his hands on this power system.
But that didn't mean he was forgiving her.
Not after she'd killed him an hour ago.
His hand shot out, grabbing the front of Akane's vest and yanking her forward with enough force to make her gasp.
Her massive breasts smashed against his chest, soft and yielding even through the fabric. His other hand slid down, gripping her ass firmly—his palm squeezing the curve of her rear covered by her swaying tail.
Akane's red robe molded to her skin from the pressure, her body pressing flush against his as her breath hitched.
She winced, not from pain, but from the sudden heat flooding through her veins. His intense gaze bore into hers, crimson-gold eyes locking onto her golden ones with an intensity that made her thighs press together involuntarily.
Tianlong leaned in close, his voice dropping to a low rumble that vibrated against her chest.
"I think you should be introducing me to this world's first native we meet, huh... wife?"
