Chapter 14: The Bloodlust Awakens
I pushed her down and pinned her.
"Did you really think I won't take advantage of you?"
"Do you want to?"
"Answer me first!" I shouted
Now that little fear started appearing on her face. She was acting all high and mighty a while ago, but now she has found out what the situation is.
"I'm sorry. If you don't like it, I won't tease you." She said.
"Now there is no use of asking for forgiveness Sarah! No matter how I am, I'm still a boy. So, I too have those urges. Please forgive me, but if someone is alone in a jungle with such a beautiful girl, then 99 % boys will do this and I am not among those 1% idiots who will not do this." I said and started unbuttoning her.
"You're a total idiot, if I raped someone I would first make sure that that her mouth is tied. I have a handkerchief in my pocket, you can use it if you want. You are a blot on the name of a rapist." She is scolded
Now she is demotivating me, does she really think that I cannot do this? Come on, think about it, I don't think that she will be afraid even after tying her mouth. Do I really have to do this? If I don't do it, she will start taking me lightly. It is also possible that this is part of her plan and she wants me to do it with her so that she can claim to be my girlfriend.
"What happened? Did you Are you scared??" She was saying while grinning at me.
This is too much, now I can't go back! I took out my handkerchief from my pocket.
"So you also have it."
I didn't say anything. At this moment, if I say something then she'll only think that I'm stalling time.
I said this with a cold expression. I started tying her mouth but she didn't show any resistance. Just when
"So after coming to the other world, the first thing you decided to do is raping your friend who trusted you so much. You're the worst of the scums."
Suddenly, I felt a cold steel of the dagger pressing against my throat, the edge biting into my skin. Panic surged through me, a primal fear that threatened to consume me
Maine peeche dekha. A girl, whose eyes gleaming with a predatory intensity, held the dagger steady, her grip unwavering.
"I surrender." I said
"Do you think that if you surrender, you will be saved?" That girl said
"Don't you think that before trying to take my life, you should listen to my appeal? Otherwise you're gonna regret it!" I said.
I don't think there is a need to be afraid. I don't care what someone is thinking about me, and Sarah will tell the situation to her anyway.
That girl removed the dagger. When I thought that the situation was under control
she swung the dagger at me.
I reacted instinctively, a surge of adrenaline fueling a desperate lunge. My fist shot out, aimed at her face. But she was a blur of motion, faster than I could have ever imagined. With a graceful, almost effortless movement, she sidestepped my attack, her body a whirlwind of controlled aggression.
Then came the impact. Her boot, a weapon in its own right, connected with my ribs with the force of a battering ram. The pain was excruciating, a searing agony that stole my breath. I tumbled backwards, landing hard on the cobblestones, the wind knocked out of me.
Dazed and disoriented, I lay there gasping for air. I hadn't expected this. That girl, despite her slender frame, moved with the grace of a panther and the strength of a raging bull. It was clear – this was no ordinary woman. She was leagues beyond any human I had ever encountered.
A chilling thought crept into my mind. If she had struck me with full force, with the intent to kill, I would have been no more. The realization sent a fresh wave of fear through me, a cold dread that seeped into my very bones. I knew, with a certainty that chilled me to the core, that I was facing a foe beyond my comprehension.
"Are you alright." That girl said to Sarah.
"Leon!!!" Sarah screamed and ran towards me.
"Are you alright Leon? Please forgive me, maybe I went too far." Sarah said to me.
I was in so much pain that I could not even move. That girl must be very high-leveled.
"Why did you do this to Leon?" Sarah shouted at her.
I was loosing consciousness and it was quite difficult to see what was happening around me. Suddenly, I felt a warm sensation. My pain seemed to be over and a dimly green light enveloped me. I looked at their direction and found that the girl who kicked me was healing me.
"Hey, are you Tokino Sarah?" The girl asked Sarah
"You know me?" Sarah asked
"You are that child actress, right? I came to this world two years ago, and I have seen you on TV in my old world. By the way, who is this boy?"
"His name is Shishio Leon, he is my best friend. The moment you hurt him again, you're my enemy."
That girl looked at me like an appraisal.
"You you're willing to become my enemy for this boy who tried to rape you?" That girl told Sarah
"He just wanted to scare me." Sarah said
"Yes yes, that's why the buttons of your shirt are open and your mouth was also tied."
"Listen, I don't know who you are but didn't your parents taught you not to interfere with other people's matters?" Sarah said
"You think so?" She said angrily
"It... seems." Sarah said
"Alright but let me tell you something, you both are lucky that you met me first here. If someone else had found you before me, you both would have been dead by now!" she said.
Our argument could go on all night but I'm feeling a little strange. I have been bothered by a strange sensation for some time now. When this girl came out, I came to know that what I was feeling for some time now was actually bloodlust, this girl wanted to kill me. But right now I don't feel that bloodlust from her at all.
But, I am still able to feel bloodlust and it seems as if someone is watching us. Of course it's just a doubt but I want to clear it.
The bloodlust was emanating from somewhere in the shadows of the ancient trees. Was it just one? Or were there others, eyes gleaming with an inhuman hunger, lurking in the darkness?
"Can you come out now?" I demanded
As soon as I said this, Sara and that girl started looking in the direction where I was looking.
The words echoed through the stillness, a challenge thrown into the void.
A rustle of leaves, a snap of a twig, and my heart leaped into my throat. Something was moving, unseen, unseen, its presence a whisper in the wind. Fear, cold and clammy, seeped into my bones.
Then, I saw him.
He emerged from the thick undergrowth, his face pale in the moonlight, his eyes wide and dark. He moved with an eerie grace, each step silent as a ghost.
My own breath hitched in my throat. The world tilted, the familiar forest transformed into a place of shadows and whispers. I was seeing through his eyes, experiencing the world through his senses. The air, thick with the scent of pine needles and fear, the rustle of leaves a symphony of unseen dangers.
His gaze, intense and unwavering, pierced through me. It was as if he could see right through the layers of anger and fear, into the very core of my being. A shiver, cold and involuntary, ran down my spine.
He had black hairs, handsome face with a cold and calculating gaze. He continued to advance, his movements fluid and predatory.
"You shouldn't have shouted my name in vain, idiot!" He said, looking at me.
The air crackled with tension as soon as she recognized the boy. Her face paled, her eyes widening in a silent scream. She started trembling, her body wracked with a fear that went beyond mere apprehension. It was primal, deep-rooted, a memory of something ancient and terrifying.
"Hey?" Sarah asked her, her voice laced with concern. "What happened?"
She didn't answer, her gaze fixed on the boy who stood before us. He remained motionless, his eyes, dark as obsidian, holding a chilling intensity. Jennifer's hand instinctively reached for her belt, her fingers closing around the hilt of her dagger.
"Are you… Cloak?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
The name, spoken aloud, seemed to electrify the air.
"Cloak?" I echoed, confusion swirling within me. "Who – or what – is Cloak?"
That girl ignored me, her eyes glued to the boy. Fear, raw and potent, emanated from her in waves. She raised her dagger, her hand trembling. "Stay back," she warned, her voice stronger now, laced with a desperate urgency.
