Bulla, now fully transformed into a Super Saiyan, had already wiped out every civilian under Babidi's control. But to her shock, not even a minute later… they started coming back to life.
Forced to fight them all over again, she powered up and struck them down a second time.
"You're amazing, Bulla!" Mai gave her a big thumbs-up.
Bulla's cheeks flushed red at the praise. Bulma, watching from the sideline, smiled with pride.
"Bulla, you're your mother's daughter! I couldn't be prouder."
"Hehe, oh stop it…" Bulla scratched her head bashfully.
Just as her golden aura began to fade, her expression changed. Her pupils narrowed, taking on a diamond-like shape as her senses flared. She scanned the area, and locked eyes on two new arrivals.
A man and a woman.
"Android 17?! Android 18?!" Bulla's eyes filled with rage. Her fists clenched, and her energy surged violently again. The android siblings, recently escaped from Hell, had come seeking revenge on Vegeta, by targeting his family.
They stared at Bulla, confused. This girl wasn't familiar.
17 looked her up and down, unimpressed. "Huh? She knows us?"
18 narrowed her eyes. "Looks like she's Bulma and Vegeta's kid."
She smirked coldly. "Heh… if Vegeta finds out his wife and daughter were killed, he'd snap."
With that, 18 lunged forward, aiming a heavy punch at Bulla's gut.
Bulla sidestepped with ease, countering with a clean hook to 18's face. "Not this time! I won't let you lay a finger on my mom!"
Bam!
18 was knocked back several dozen meters, startled.
[Damn… I didn't expect her to be this strong. And what did she mean by "this time"?]
While 18 tried to piece it together, Bulla launched a ferocious assault. Blow after blow, she overwhelmed the android, forcing her onto the defensive.
Finally, 18 snapped, shouting over her shoulder: "Hey, idiot! Are you trying to repeat the same mistake again? Help me!"
17 flinched. Her words cut deep.
He remembered all too well how underestimating Vegeta once led to their defeat, and their deaths.
He joined the fight.
Even with both androids attacking together, Bulla still held the upper hand. She fought with precision and fury, clearly trained, and not just in raw power.
Just as victory seemed within reach, an unfamiliar presence appeared high in the sky.
A massive man with blue skin and a yellow turban descended slowly from above.
It was Bojack, revived from the depths of Hell.
Alone.
He had always treated his henchmen as disposable, so now, none had followed him back. Hovering overhead, Bojack formed a colossal ki blast, aiming straight for Bulla.
But before he could release it,
Whirr--!
A glowing disc sliced through the air toward him.
"Ki Blade Slash!!"
In that same instant, a chorus of familiar attacks rang out:
"Spirit Bomb!"
"Energy Cannon!"
"Dodon Ray!"
Energy beams struck Bojack from all sides. He dodged the Ki Blade Slash, but the others landed hard, interrupting his attack and scattering his energy. Hovering together in the sky were Krillin, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha, Z Fighters reborn.
From below, Bulma stared up, eyes filling with tears. She reached up and pinched her cheek hard.
"…It hurts. This is real… They're back."
The four warriors turned and looked down toward her.
Krillin grinned and waved. "Long time no see, Bulma."
"Let's deal with this guy first, " Yamcha said, motioning toward Bojack.
"Don't forget the mission King Kai gave us, " Tien reminded.
Bojack snarled, ripping off his turban and tossing it aside. "Hmph. Just more trash."
The four fighters squared up, completely focused. They knew Bojack was dangerous, but they had no choice.
Whoosh!
In a blink, Bojack appeared in front of Chiaotzu. His speed was terrifying, far beyond what Chiaotzu could track. He raised a handblade, preparing to strike, "CHIAOTZU!!" Tien screamed, racing to intercept.
But suddenly, Bojack froze in midair as five small figures clung to his limbs and neck, Saibamen.
"DIEEE!!!" they shouted in unison.
BOOM!!
They exploded together in a massive blast, engulfing Bojack in fire and smoke. When the smoke cleared, Bojack's body was gone, reduced to ashes. But the Saibamen weren't gone.
They regenerated instantly.
"How dare you lay a hand on the boss's little sister and mom!" the five growled in sync.
Then, turning toward 17 and 18, their eyes gleamed with menace.
"The boss's little sister! These two are ours!"
Bulla blinked, stunned.
"Uh… wait. You're… my brother's underlings?!"
One of the Saibamen turned to her. "The boss doesn't like it when we call him that… but we like calling him boss!"
Bulla twitched, mouth slightly agape.
Trunks? These guys follow Trunks?!
Even the Z Fighters were baffled.
Krillin scratched his head. "I thought these things were monsters back when Piccolo told us about them during the Cell Games… But now they're working for Trunks?"
He chuckled nervously. "Man… I'd love to meet this kid someday."
Under the coordinated assault of the five Saibamen, the android siblings were quickly overwhelmed. Unable to hold their ground, they were forced to retreat, vanishing from Earth once more.
"Everyone!!!" Bulma called out joyfully.
Her voice trembled with emotion. To see her friends, long thought gone, alive again, fighting side-by-side, was almost too much to believe.
Just then, a familiar figure descended from the sky, his aura flaring, Vegeta.
He hovered over Capsule Corporation, eyes scanning the aftermath.
[Looks like they handled the threat…]
He turned his gaze toward Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu.
[So they're back, too, huh? Revived, just like the others.]
With no time to waste, Vegeta dropped down to the ground.
He had questions, and he needed answers fast.
