Dragon Ball: The Strongest Training

Chapter 36: Rampaging Nail!

Nail smiled bitterly to himself:

"I spent over a century at Galactic Headquarters. Two hundred years ago, King Dirt Mound sought their help, but the Galactic Headquarters didn't dare provoke King Cold's family—a massive, fearsome force. As time passed, the plea for help was forgotten, sinking into obscurity."

Now, with Krillin serving as a Galactic Headquarters officer, Nail couldn't discern Krillin's true intentions. He assumed Krillin had allied with the Galactic Organization and had arrived as their reinforcement.

In truth, Krillin saw the Galactic Organization as a stepping stone, a means to gather intel. Working for the Galactic King for the rest of his life? Not a chance!

"This time, Galactic Headquarters has sent us a true savior. Lord Krillin is a real powerhouse—even the Galactic King's royal guards can't compare to him!" Nail explained to the terrified elder.

"Is that true?" the elder asked, still doubtful.

"It's true! Lord Krillin is watching us from nearby." Nail glanced in Krillin's direction for reassurance.

The elder began to weep uncontrollably. Galactic Headquarters had truly sent help, and hope had returned.

The elder's sobbing drew the attention of a nearby alien guard. The alien rushed over, shouting, "Who's there?"

"The one here to end you!" Nail roared, rushing at the alien. Channeling his ki into his fist, he punched the alien with overwhelming force.

The alien, with a battle power of around 300, stood no chance against Nail's 1,000. The punch sent the alien flying, his neck snapping upon landing, life snuffed out instantly.

Turning to the elder, Nail said urgently, "Hurry and gather the rest of our people. If the invaders go berserk, they might slaughter everyone!"

Nail's worry was valid, but Krillin, with his 380,000 battle power, ensured that no alien would have a chance to retaliate. Krillin silently approved of Nail's actions—this time, at least, Nail wasn't entirely clueless.

"In the clearing ahead, there are 100,000 of our people," the elder said, his voice regaining strength.

Closing his eyes, Nail sensed the faint ki signatures ahead. He opened his eyes, determination flashing in them, and said, "Let's go!"

Nail flew toward the clearing, carrying the elder with him. He didn't dare leave the elder behind, knowing the gathering of his people was the safest place for him.

As they flew, the elder continued, "After King Dirt Mound's rebellion a century ago, the aliens separated us into ten slave zones. We once had a population of six million, but countless have died since. The aliens claim there aren't enough workers. Now, we might have fewer than two million left…" The elder's voice cracked as he began to cry again.

Nail's eyes turned bloodshot, and he clenched his teeth. "Damn these invaders… unforgivable!"

A population of six million was significant by universal standards—far larger than Earth's typical numbers. Even Planet Vegeta, home of the Saiyans, had a population of just over one million.

Slave Zone 5

The area bustled with 100,000 Dirt Mound natives, all laboring under oppressive conditions. Among them were elders and children, each burdened with loads of rocks far beyond their strength. None stood tall, their backs bent under years of suffering.

The alien guards, far from vigilant, stood idly by. The brutal suppression a century ago had completely shattered the slaves' will to rebel.

Carrying the elder, Nail landed nearby and walked slowly into the mining area. The farther he walked, the more his rage simmered. Emaciated children, lifeless expressions on his people's faces—these invaders deserved no mercy.

The enslaved natives noticed Nail, an unfamiliar yet familiar presence. They remained silent, merely staring at him.

Suddenly, a frail girl collapsed under the weight of her load. Though some people wanted to help, they didn't dare.

Nail rushed forward, gently lifting the girl. Looking at her with concern, he asked, "What's your name? Are you hurt?"

The girl blinked in surprise, her large, dull eyes still holding a faint spark. "My name is Avira. Big brother, who are you?" she asked timidly, standing up with his help.

Looking at Avira, Nail was reminded of his childhood—a time before the invasion, when he played with friends under his parents' care. It had been such a happy time. These invaders… they would pay dearly.

Avira's parents cautiously approached, the father—a frail man—stepping forward to shield her. His fearful eyes regarded Nail warily.

Nail smiled warmly. "Uncle, I mean no harm. I've returned to save our people."

The gathering of people caught the attention of the alien guards. One marched over, shouting, "What's going on here? Looking for trouble?"

The crowd scattered in fear. Avira's father tried to pull Nail into the group, hoping to protect him.

Nail met the man's worried gaze and gave a reassuring nod. Looking at Avira, he said gently, "Go stand with the others, Avira. Stay safe."

As the alien approached, he noticed Nail didn't look like the rest. Unlike the pale, weary slaves, Nail was brimming with vitality.

"Who the hell are you?" the alien barked.

Nail stepped forward, his face calm as he replied, "Listen carefully."

Then, in a thunderous voice, he roared, "I am Nail, the Dirt Mound native who escaped two hundred years ago! I have returned to save my people!"

With that, Nail unleashed his full power, channeling his ki into a devastating strike. The alien, outmatched and caught off guard, was sent flying. Not satisfied, Nail fired a ki blast, reducing the alien to ashes.

The fight was over before the stunned onlookers could even process what had happened.

The slaves were terrified, memories of the last rebellion and its horrific consequences still fresh in their minds.

Avira stepped forward, grabbing Nail's hand, her eyes filled with hope. "Big brother, are you here to save us?"

Nail looked at her with affection, the small girl barely reaching his shoulder. "No one will hurt us ever again."

The commotion had drawn more aliens to the scene. Seeing them approach, Nail shouted to the crowd, "Find a safe place to hide. Leave these bastards to me!"

As the aliens advanced, Nail gathered his ki and fired a blast at one of them. A flash of yellow light streaked through the air, and the alien let out a scream before crashing lifelessly to the ground.
