Dragon Ball Roshi

Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Seizing The Ship To Set Sail

Whether it's the "Hell Stab" of the Third Raikage or Kakashi's "Raikiri," in general, strong or weak, both can be classified as the same type of attack.

Speed.

Both use the immense kinetic energy generated by movement, then use Chakra to strengthen the jutsu itself, and finally, generate an explosive power that penetrates the target with a single blow.

Tao Sura looked down, incredulous, and saw the hand that had pierced his chest.

Taro's muscles were as tight as iron and stone, and his veins were so swollen they seemed ready to tear through his skin, showing how hard Taro's heart was working at that moment.

A pale light enveloped this steel arm, and Tao Sura could certainly feel how pure this Ki was. He also knew how strong the ki condensed in the fingers that penetrated his back.

All the energy was concentrated in the fingers, and it was extremely strong. Moving at high speed, the strike pierced through him with ease.

This is a killing technique.

This young man didn't look like a disciple of a martial arts master like Mutaito but more like a first-rate assassin and executioner, just like him.

"Hmph..."

A large mouthful of blood gushed from his mouth, covering his clothes and staining Taro's arm red, which was still embedded in his chest. Tao Sura stared at Taro's expressionless face with red eyes and said grimly:

"Good boy, what's your name?"

Taro glanced at him slightly but didn't respond. He pressed his lips together, grabbed Tao Sura's shoulder with his other hand, and pulled the arm that had pierced the man's chest.

Pfft.

Another large pool of blood appeared. Tao Sura's entire body twisted, and his face turned pale instantly.

Taro turned, and Tao Sura fell to his knees behind him, his eyes filled with rage and hatred. How could he not hate? In the name of his clan, he had vowed to kill three thousand people to fulfill his career as an assassin.

Today, at the cost of the wound on his left abdomen, he had finally reached the mark of 2159. But who would have thought that he would die inexplicably in the wild forest of this remote countryside? Death at the hands of two—no, one young man he had never met before?

Tao Sura's whole body grew weak, his vision blurred, and he slowly collapsed forward.

Throughout the entire process, Tsuru's mouth hung open and never closed. He watched from start to finish in stunned silence. He thought that even if Taro came to help, there would be a great and fierce battle to be fought. But how could he have expected that after Taro arrived, he would start fighting without saying a word, and with just one blow, the assassin who seemed so powerful was stabbed to death...

When had Taro become so powerful?! How could his speed be so incredible?! Is it possible to make such a huge leap after practicing ki?!

He clearly hadn't even mastered the Bankoku-Bukkiru-Shou yet!

This thought made Tsuru shudder. Looking at the figure of Taro walking slowly, it was as if he were looking at a monster.

"It must be that my skill is too low, so I can't compare the difference between him and the master." he thought to himself, with an uncertain expression.

But what he didn't know was that, although Taro seemed relaxed and content at that moment, in reality, the bones and muscles of his entire body were filled with excruciating pain. The first gate of the Eight Gates had been opened, and after exerting all of his strength, it was completely reckless to push his body any further. Its side effects were no joke.

Suddenly, Taro's heart stirred. The pain in his body reminded him of something...

"Could Goku's Kaioken be similar to the principle of the Eight Gates? Looking at the original work, when Sun Wukong fought against Vegeta, after using the Kaio Punch three times, four times, and five times, his entire body would be in excruciating pain, and he would scream when others touched him. Isn't this the same as Rock Lee and Guy after opening the Eight Gates?"

Tsuru pointed to Tao Sura, who was lying on the ground behind Taro:

"What should we do with him?" Due to Taro's great power, he unknowingly started seeking Taro's opinion, which would have been unimaginable before.

"Forget it, he can't survive." Taro shook his head, suppressed his thoughts, endured the severe pain, passed by Tsuru, and headed back along the path they had come.

Tsuru stood there for a while, looking at him, then turned around and hurried to follow him. After walking for a while, he found Taro standing under a large tree, looking at something in the branches, frowning and saying nothing.

Tsuru subconsciously hurried and asked in a serious voice:

"Is someone coming again?"

Taro looked at him strangely, shook his head, and replied:

"No." After a pause, he added honestly. "I put the baggage in the tree. Can you go up and bring it down? I haven't stopped to rest until now... I'm a bit tired."

...

Of course, the two who had already left didn't realize that Tao Sura's fingers, which were lying on the ground, moved... This didn't mean he wasn't actually dead—after suffering such a severe injury, someone like him, who wasn't immortal, would certainly die. Death is death, but... before dying, he tried his best to leave something behind.

It was a message written with a special method. Tao Sura rolled it up into a small tube with a distinct smell, and even in death, he still held the thin, long paper tube between his fingers...

After an unspecified amount of time, a gray pigeon descended from the sky with the first golden ray of the morning sun, landing on Tao Sura's dead body. Turning its head, the pigeon hopped onto Tao Sura's hand, pecked at the object between his fingers a few times, and finally took it in its beak.

The gray pigeon spread its wings and flew off again. No one knew where it went.

The next morning, all the residents of Pomegranate Town gathered to send Taro and Tsuru off. The two set off with their baggage.

They followed a map they had brought from the mountain and entered a mountainous region. Wandering through the wilderness and passing by villages, they saw grim conditions. The common people could barely survive, living in precarious situations in their homelands. In some areas, they didn't even know that the great demon had been defeated and continued to hide in basements or caves, living in constant fear.

The two brothers traveled during the day and rested in nature at night, using the sky as their roof and the ground as their mat. When they were hungry, they hunted wild animals. When they were thirsty... if they couldn't find a water source, even the blood of wolves became an option.

Whenever they encountered injustices on the way, such as bandits or looters, with their unmatched skills, they easily defeated them. All the gold, silver, pearls, and treasures they looted were distributed to the peasants of the nearby villages.

That's why, along the way, "Mount Mutaito" gained so much fame and praise.

In the early hours of the next day, all the residents of Pomegranate Town gathered to bid farewell to Taro and Tsuru, who set off with their luggage.

Following a map they had brought from the mountains, they entered a mountainous area. They traveled through the wilderness and passed by several villages, where all they saw was desolation. The common people could barely survive in their homeland. In some places, they didn't even know that the great demon had been defeated and continued to hide in basements or caves, living lives marked by constant fear.

The two brothers traveled during the day and rested in nature at night, using the sky as a blanket and the ground as their bed. When they were hungry, they hunted wild animals. When they were thirsty... if they couldn't find a water source, even the blood of wolves was enough to quench their thirst.

Along the way, whenever they encountered injustices, such as bandits or looters, they used their extraordinary skills to confront them. They firmly subdued the wrongdoers, eliminating thieves, bandits, and villains. The treasures they acquired — gold, silver, beads, gemstones, and money — were distributed to the peasants of the nearby villages.

Because of this, during the journey, the fame of "Mount Mutaito" spread rapidly, accompanied by praise from everyone who crossed the paths of the two heroes.

Nearly two months later, Taro and Tsuru finally arrived at the first destination of their journey, a large coastal city called "West Coast City."

The two entered the city, observing the movement of people and vehicles coming and going.

"The level of technology... It's like watching a Sherlock Holmes movie," Taro thought to himself as he walked alongside Tsuru down the wide brick streets of West Coast City, watching the pedestrians. "This will probably be the future Western Capital."

He had studied the map several times, both the current one and the one from the history he knew of his past life, and sighed as he thought that in this land, Bulma, the genius scientist who would create the "Dragon Ball Radar," the "Gravity Chamber," and even the "Time Machine," would be born.

As for the present, Taro didn't expect something as advanced as the Dragon Ball Radar.

At the city's dock, an old man was preparing his boat. The weather was nice, with sunny skies and favorable winds. When he was about to untie the anchor, he heard a metallic "click," and suddenly the anchor's chain disconnected.

"What's going on?!" He was startled, then noticed two figures standing on the boat — someone was stealing his boat!

"Catch them!" He prepared to shout when a bundle was thrown at him. Caught off guard, it nearly knocked him down. When he opened the bundle, his eyes widened: it was full of gold, jewels, and precious stones!

The old man watched his boat drift away into the sea as he tightly held the bundle, murmuring:

"Well... I guess I can accept this..."
