Dr. stone: Knowledge is Power

Flashback:

When y/n was young, she went to Africa with her parents and stayed there for a study experiment while she followed. While walking around, she went in a private laboratory and walks around, she then heard a voice in a teasing tone.

"Hydrochloric acid can burn you, but it can't burn plastic, did you know that?"

He said as he walks forward and taking off his experiment glasses. She looks up and sees....green onion? She scoffs. Controlling her laugh.

"What's so funny?"

He asked but she waves her hand.

"Nothing sorry and yes, I do know. And did you know hydrochloric alone can treat hypertension or blood pressure?"

She grins, challenging him with knowledge. They both spit out facts about science that no normal kid won't understand between the the two science geeks. In the end they catch their breaths from all the trivia they gave each other and smiled.

"Hey, what's your name science geeks?"

The green onion boy asked as she looks up and replied.

"Y/n L/n, and you are?"

"Senku, nice to meetcha fellow science geek"

"We can't trust him, if tsukasa is bad then does that mean gen is bad too?!"

Suika panicked. They were all, except gen, are in the small lab hit supplies as they held a meeting on what to do with gen.

"Whether he's good or bad, he'll take the side who has a higher chance of winning, he's a shallow opportunist "

Senku replied to suika. Y/n, who was beside senku tells suika.

"No one can survive the life of stone age, so I'm hundred percent that gen will choose us"

"Yeah, all he has to do is make a fake report that I'm dead already , that's how we can win"

Senku says as he looks at y/n who was beside her, laying back the wall while playing with a random rock in her hand.

They then see chrome shout at gen something about that science is more awesome and the light they seen earlier boasting about it, making y/n chuckle. But gen refused and walk away.

Y/n stopped kohaku from following him.

"Let him be, he'll think about it in the end, in the meantime we need to eat dinner"

Everyone agreed with y/n's and ate some fruits from the village that kohaku and suika took when they heard something and walks out the hut. They all got shocked to see gen bleeding all over with a spear on his chest.

Chroma panic and so did kohaku, thinking it's dead but y/n comes forward and opens his shirt to find fake blood pouch bags. Senku scoffs.

"Kukuku, a magician down to his narrow, seriously this guy"

Y/n check gen's situation as she fills them in.

"Don't worry he's fine but the bruises are deep and the stab made a cut, we need to treat him immediately."

With y/n's guide, they bandaged with available materials they had and put herb medicine on his body.

"We're gonna find this guy who did it!

Chrome angers but kohaku cut him off with another problem.

"If gen can't walk, tsukasa will kill senku himself, who knows what will happen."

"But y/n was with gen right, she can probably —"

Senku cuts off chrome

"If she did return they'll be suspicious, especially when tsukasa knows we're close"

Y/n agrees, they were close after all with yuzuriha and taiju.

"Lying won't help, let's get some rest for now and think about it tomorrow, I'll stand by in case gen needs something"

As they all fell asleep, senku hears gen whisper about something as he came close. He grins at the mentalist request.

The next day, gen woke up y/n making her stir awake and drag her out without explanation. Y/n stopped him.

"What's going on?!"

"I'll explain on the way"

The mentalist said, still in pain with brusies, she was in disbelief. Before y/n can reason, senku came from behind and tapped her shoulder and looks at her with a reassuring expression.

"Go ahead, you need to go"

Y/n was feeling betrayed, but she knows better, she knows senku well. She hugged him tight as she says goodbye, tears streaming down her face. Senku hugged back and comforted her.

"You'll be back soon, 100 percent"

That made y/n chuckled as she wipes her tears. She then walks away and helped gen on the way.

She looks back at senku before looking forward to the rising sun as they left science camp.

"I'll be back"
