DOULUO: THE DRAGON GOD WITH GACHA

Chapter 11: (10) FIGHT

---

"Begin," the teacher announced, starting Ye Lingtong's and Lan Xuanyu's fight.

Without hesitation, Ye Lingtong unleashed her spirit. A faint, bright light emanated from her body as white scales surfaced on the skin of her hands. The scales, shaped like rare triangular patterns with jagged protrusions at their centers, gleamed under the light. Her pupils narrowed into sharp slits, and her pitch-black eyes turned a brilliant citrine color. A faint dragon roar resonated as she leaped forward, her entire form exuding power and dominance.

Ye Lingtong's spirit was exceptional, one of the best among her peers, and the teachers were deeply impressed. With an innate Spirit Power at rank eight and a rare mutated spirit unlike her parents', she had advanced to rank ten in just half a year.

A yellow Spirit Ring appeared beneath her feet, representing a hundred-year-old Spirit Beast. No wonder Ye Lingtong was so confident—not only did she acquire a Spirit Skill, but it was a rare 100-year one.

"Bring out your spirit!" Ye Lingtong demanded of Lan Xuanyu.

Lan Xuanyu simply smiled in response. Raising his hand, he summoned his Clear Sky Hammer martial spirit. Since his dragon bloodline was god-ranked, he knew she might feel its pressure, which could hinder her full strength. Thus, he decided to rely on his hammer spirit instead.

Effortlessly, he lifted the 150-kilogram hammer. Every Clear Sky Hammer weighed that much initially, and its weight increased with each added spirit ring. This unique trait was one of the reasons it was considered one of the best attack-type martial spirits.

A dazzling glow radiated from Ye Lingtong's yellow Spirit Ring, enveloping her. She charged directly at Lan Xuanyu, confident her Spirit Skill, Celestial Body, would break through his defenses.

Celestial Body enhanced her physical attributes significantly—body defense by 10%, speed by 20%, and attack strength by 30%. It was a formidable skill.

She reached Lan Xuanyu and attacked with her claw, but he casually tilted to dodge it. Undeterred, she struck with her other hand, only for him to evade again.

Then, she saw him raise his hammer. Instinctively, she backed away. She was well aware of the Clear Sky Hammer's devastating power and weight.

With a full swing, Lan Xuanyu slammed the hammer toward her. Ye Lingtong ran at full speed, barely dodging the attack. Yet, she still felt the shockwave as the hammer struck the ground with a deafening bang.

Emerging from the cloud of dust, Lan Xuanyu continued swinging his hammer relentlessly. Ye Lingtong dodged repeatedly, but each time, the attacks left her increasingly breathless.

The teachers and students watching were stunned by Lan Xuanyu's sheer strength. Many students, seeing the craters and cracks forming on the ground, vowed never to challenge this "violent madman."

Ye Lingtong panted, her strategy failing. Her mother had once told her that while the Clear Sky Hammer was immensely powerful, it was also incredibly heavy, requiring great strength to wield. Most children could only manage a single swing before exhausting themselves. Yet, Lan Xuanyu wielded it effortlessly, repeatedly attacking without showing any signs of fatigue.

Suddenly, Lan Xuanyu began smashing the hammer wildly, creating a massive dust cloud. Realizing his plan, Ye Lingtong tried to run out of the cloud but couldn't see her way through the thick haze.

She froze as she felt a hand on her shoulder and heard a calm voice, "You lose, Lingling."

When the dust settled, the teachers and students saw Lan Xuanyu standing behind Ye Lingtong, his hand resting on her shoulder. His right hand had transformed into a sharp golden dragon claw, pointed at her.

Ye Lingtong sighed in defeat. "I admit it," she said.

Lan Xuanyu smiled and stepped back, retracting his dragon claw. As he walked closer, he whispered to her, "What about my prize, Lingling?"

Ye Lingtong blushed deeply. Standing on her tiptoes, she quickly kissed him on the cheek and retreated.

The spectators didn't notice the kiss, thinking she had whispered something to him instead.

The teacher then announced, "The winner of this fight is Lan Xuanyu. Both of you showed exceptional strength and skill. You both earn full marks in close combat. Lan Xuanyu is ranked first, Ye Lingtong second, and..."

With the exams concluded, the students began leaving. Lan Xuanyu waved at a still-blushing Ye Lingtong and smiled before departing.

Later at Home

"Mom, I'm home!" Lan Xuanyu called as he entered.

Xu'er ran toward him, Nan Cheng following behind. Xu'er leaped into her brother's arms, hugging him tightly. "Big brother, candies!" she exclaimed.

Lan Xuanyu chuckled, pulling out some candies from his bag. Xu'er beamed with joy, kissed his cheek, and hugged him again.

Standing nearby, Nan Cheng scolded lightly, "Xuanyu, you shouldn't bring her candies every day. It's bad for her health."

Lan Xuanyu smiled, while Xu'er quickly hid her candies behind her back and dashed to her room to stash them away.

Later, Xuanyu chatted with his mother about the exams, conveniently omitting the kiss with Ye Lingtong—he didn't want to risk getting scolded.

---

Inside his room, Lan Xuanyu locked the door and entered his "little world." Over the past half year, its diameter had grown to 15 kilometers, and the energy levels were nearing those of the outside world.

Sitting beneath the Origin Tree, he noticed the three small buds on its branches hadn't grown much recently. Shaking his head, he sat cross-legged and focused on his bloodline vortex. The nine-colored light at its core had become denser, and the vortex itself had expanded significantly.

Using the Divine Dragon Scriptures (DDS), he channeled the energy into his bones. The first phase of DDS aimed to transform bones into dragon bones, followed by organs, veins, skin, and finally, blood. The process repeated in cycles, with stronger draconic bloodlines requiring more cycles to achieve a fully transformed dragon body. The results, however, were terrifyingly powerful.

After a few minutes, he frowned. Progress was too slow. Normal training wasn't enough anymore—he needed a way to pressure his body further.

With that thought, he decided to use his nine rare-grade gacha tickets, saving his Emperor and Mythical-grade tickets for later. Opening the Gacha Draw tab, he selected all his rare tickets.

[DING! YOU HAVE USED NINE RARE-RANK GACHA TICKETS. YOU RECEIVE...]
