Douluo: Soul-Breaking spear

Chapter 134: Chapter 134: Secretly Spreading the Word

Chapter 134: Secretly Spreading the Word

After returning to his room, Yang Potian carefully thought over his next steps. He took out several sheets of plain paper and envelopes, the kind commonly used across the continent and nearly impossible to trace back to any source.

He started writing several letters, crafting each one meticulously and making multiple copies of each. To further obscure the origin, he wrote everything left-handed, creating handwriting that no one would recognize as his.

The first letter was straightforward. It claimed that Tang Hao, a surviving member of the Clear Sky Clan, was hiding in Holy Soul Village in the Fasno Province, where he was working closely with Yu Xiaogang, an alleged "disgraced" Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan member, to train Tang Hao's son, Tang San. With a rare twin martial soul—Clear Sky Hammer and Blue Silver Emperor—Tang San was described as a major threat who could eventually bring down Spirit Hall if left unchecked.

The second letter detailed the current state of the Clear Sky Clan, revealing that aside from Tang Xiao, the Clan Leader, the clan now boasted five Title Douluo, plus Tang Hao. In total, there were seven Title Douluo, all preparing to act against Spirit Hall. The letter also implicated Tang Yuehua, the master of the Moon Pavilion in Heaven Dou City, who was gathering resources for the clan to support the training of more elite disciples.

The third letter outlined another development: under Clear Sky Clan orders, Tang San had gathered former clan affiliates, including the Power Clan and Speed Clan, to form the Tang Sect. The letter alleged that the Tang Sect was a mere front for the Clear Sky Clan, currently producing and stockpiling weapons to arm the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan. Once the clan was fully equipped, they planned to join forces with the other Great Clans and launch an attack on Spirit Hall.

The fourth letter made an even bolder claim: that former Clan Leader Tang Chen was undergoing a divine trial. Should he succeed, he would rise to exact revenge on Spirit Hall and attempt to conquer the entire continent.

The fifth letter noted that Yu Xiaogang was now leading Team One at the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy, with members including Tang San of the Clear Sky Clan, Ning Heng of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Yu Tianheng of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Bai Xiaofei of the Speed Clan, and Tai Long of the Power Clan. Their purpose, it claimed, was to defeat Spirit Hall's Golden Generation and humiliate them in the upcoming competition.

After finishing the letters, Yang Potian carefully copied each one ten times. As for the author's name, he signed each as Su Yuntao, a Spirit Hall deacon who had originally awakened Tang San's spirit in Holy Soul Village and had noted his unprecedented innate spirit power. The letter suggested that Su Yuntao, intrigued by Tang San's abilities, had secretly continued observing him, eventually uncovering this conspiracy.

Yang Potian waited patiently for over ten days before making his move. Then, under cover of night, he took to the skies on his winged Tiger-Eagle spirit, soaring quickly away from the Potian Clan's base. He dropped the letters randomly at Spirit Hall branch locations within a hundred-mile radius of Heaven Dou City. Confident that Spirit Hall would quickly collect all the information, he ensured the letters were widely scattered.

Given his abilities and the unmatched speed of his Tiger-Eagle wings, it was easy to deposit letters from above, out of sight. He also wore a full disguise—black clothes, a wide-brimmed hat, and even altered his Tiger-Eagle wings with a coating of fiery red stones to turn them crimson, making it seem like he was a fire-type spirit master.

With his task complete, Yang Potian returned to his family and resumed his training on the plum blossom posts. Meanwhile, outside the clan, chaos quickly erupted. Most of the letters soon reached Bibi Dong, with a few reaching Qian Renxue, and even one or two making it to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan.

In Spirit City's Papal Palace, Bibi Dong looked down at five letters spread on her desk. At first, she had considered suppressing the information. But the letters kept pouring in—twenty in total. Moreover, each letter was submitted by a different Spirit Hall branch master, making it impossible to silence them all. And, as Bibi Dong suspected, Qian Renxue had also received copies, meaning that any attempt to suppress the information was futile.

The first letter shocked her the most: Yu Xiaogang was supposedly not a real outcast from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan but rather a planted operative aiding the Clear Sky Clan. Even more alarming was the accusation that he was working to groom Tang Hao's son into a weapon against Spirit Hall.

Just then, a knock sounded on the door. Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo had returned from their mission.

"What did you find?" Bibi Dong asked them.

Chrysanthemum Douluo spoke up. "Your Holiness, we have confirmed that a spirit master of the Blue Silver Grass spirit with innate spirit power indeed exists in Holy Soul Village. Deacon Su Yuntao reported this to his superiors, but for some reason, the information vanished after his report. Given Su Yuntao's interest, it's plausible he continued observing Tang San and uncovered further details.

"Additionally, a new sect, the Tang Sect, has formed in Heaven Dou City. It comprises the Power Clan and Speed Clan and mainly produces hidden weapons. Its principal client is none other than the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, which has already purchased large quantities. As a result, the Seven Treasure Clan's disciples are now heavily armed, enhancing their power significantly.

"It is also confirmed that Yu Xiaogang is leading Team One of Heaven Dou Academy, with team members from the Great Clans, including the Seven Treasure Clan, Blue Lightning Clan, and affiliates of the Clear Sky Clan, specifically the Power and Speed Clans. Their stated aim is to secure victory in next year's spirit master tournament."

Bibi Dong's expression darkened. "Thank you, Chrysanthemum Douluo. And Ghost Douluo, what of the Clear Sky Clan?"

Ghost Douluo, known for his speed and concealment abilities, was perfect for investigating the Clear Sky Clan's base. "Your Holiness, I infiltrated the Clear Sky Clan's ancestral grounds. I found that they do indeed have six active Title Douluo, with Clan Leader Tang Xiao having reached rank 96. They appear to be thriving, with sufficient resources and spirit rings."

Bibi Dong fell silent, deep in thought. "Did you gather anything on the letter courier?"

Chrysanthemum Douluo replied, "The messenger moved under the cover of night, and dropped the letters in multiple Spirit Hall branches within the same night. Eyewitnesses only saw a figure with flaming wings fly past. His speed was exceptional, likely Soul Douluo level or higher."

Bibi Dong suppressed her anger, clutching the letters tightly. The Clear Sky Clan's strength had far surpassed her expectations, and it would require all the Spirit Hall's resources to confront them.

When Bibi Dong arrived at the gates of the Hall of Consecration, two guards blocked her path. "Your Holiness, the Hall of Consecration is not a place you may enter freely."

Bibi Dong ignored the guards, dismissing them with a single forceful wave of her hand as she strode directly into the hall.

Inside, she faced seven imposing figures—each a towering presence within Spirit Hall's foundation, the Seven Great Consecrated Elders. At the center loomed a massive figure, the Chief Elder, Qian Daoliu.

Golden Crocodile Douluo, known for his fiery temper, spoke up first. "Bibi Dong, what brings you here? Shouldn't you be tending to the Papal Palace?"

Bibi Dong ignored Golden Crocodile Douluo, instead flicking her wrist to send five letters over to Qian Daoliu. As he read the contents, Qian Daoliu's expression grew increasingly grave. The information within the letters was shocking, especially the mention of Tang Chen. Knowing Tang Chen's strength and unparalleled talent, Qian Daoliu found the news deeply unsettling.

After a long silence, Qian Daoliu finally spoke. "Is this information verified? What is it you want from us?"

Bibi Dong looked around at the assembled Elders of the Hall of Consecration. "Most of the information has already been confirmed. Your momentary lapse in judgment years ago has now brought a grave threat upon Spirit Hall. Our enemies are far stronger than we imagined."

She continued, "Tang Hao is a wanted criminal in Spirit Hall, and his strength makes him a dangerous foe beyond the capabilities of our ordinary elders. I need the Hall of Consecration to take action to apprehend him."

After a moment of contemplation, Qian Daoliu nodded. "Very well, I will send the sixth and seventh elders to Heaven Dou City."

Bibi Dong pushed her luck further. "I also hope that the Hall of Consecration will take part in the hunt against the Clear Sky Clan."

"Agreed," Qian Daoliu responded.

Only now did Bibi Dong appear satisfied as she left the Hall of Consecration, her expression harboring a hint of cold malice.

Meanwhile, Qian Daoliu pondered the situation, feeling increasingly resigned. Spirit Hall's feud with the Clear Sky Clan had already escalated to a point of no return after their battle years ago, where even the clan's leader had been killed. Now, the only option was to wage an all-out campaign and decisively eliminate them.

At the same time, Qian Renxue, who had also received copies of the five letters, looked furious. "Serpent Spear, do we have any way to deal with Tang Hao?"

Standing nearby, Serpent Spear Douluo looked troubled. "Young Master, Tang Hao is immensely powerful. Even the former Pope, accompanied by two Title Douluo, couldn't best him. Perhaps this requires a more careful approach."

After some consideration, Qian Renxue spoke again. "Contact my grandfather. Tell him that I wish for the Hall of Consecration to dispatch their members here. I am prepared to face Tang Hao myself and avenge my father's death."

Below, Serpent Spear Douluo and Porcupinefish Douluo both trembled slightly. Though they were Title Douluo themselves, they doubted their chances against Tang Hao.

In the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Ning Fengzhi sat with Sword Douluo and Bone Douluo, staring at two letters on the table. After a long silence, Ning Fengzhi let out a heavy sigh. "Uncle Sword, Uncle Bone, who do you think is behind this? It's clear someone wants to provoke Spirit Hall's wrath against our clan."

Staring at the letters, Ning Fengzhi's expression was grim, as if he'd swallowed something foul.

The two letters felt all too specific, and yet there was something unsettlingly ambiguous about them. As the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan's master, Ning Fengzhi was well aware that the Great Clans hadn't made any explicit moves against Spirit Hall. Yet, after investigating, much of the information within the letters did appear to be accurate.

What baffled Ning Fengzhi further was that although the three Great Clans hadn't conspired together, the letters portrayed them as intertwined in a conspiracy to overthrow Spirit Hall. It felt orchestrated—as if someone was pushing Spirit Hall into a conflict with the Great Clans.

Adding to the tension, Ning Fengzhi was aware that they'd recently purchased a substantial number of hidden weapons from Tang San, and his clan was openly supporting Yu Xiaogang's leadership of Team One at the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy. Their involvement appeared undeniable.

The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan currently held only the third and fifth letters, both of which implicated them deeply.
