The chaos of the Black-Corner Region was already evident in these small towns on the Black-Domain Great Plains; though not yet deep, and still not far from normal countries, this place was already in a state of extreme disorder.

Amon had only been in the small town for less than five minutes, and had not walked more than three hundred steps, yet he had already witnessed three murders!

Though, the ones who committed these three acts were all him…

"Tsk, I was just asking for directions, was it necessary to be so irritable? To greet my family as soon as they opened their mouth, though I don't really mind… but if a grasshopper hops around my foot, I also don't mind stepping on it."

Amon muttered as he stepped on a scrawny, but fierce-looking, woman.

Like crushing a beetle, he crushed one of her hands.

"I ask, you answer."

"Bah, if you have the guts…"

With a bang, red and white splattered, Amon had no mood to listen to her harsh words, and stomped on her head.

Anyway, there were still many people, he would eventually get an answer.

After Amon killed the woman without changing his expression, he set his gaze on a middle-aged man not far away.

This time, it went much smoother; the middle-aged man respectfully answered Amon's question, occasionally glancing at the headless corpse lying on the ground while answering.

Evidently, that woman was also the type not to be trifled with in this small town.

"Big brother, it's him, he killed Big Sister!"

A voice came, and a Dou Grandmaster, surrounded by several Fighters, walked over.

Amon glanced at him, and before he could say anything impolite, he subtly revealed a hint of his aura towards him.

The Dou Grandmaster, who had a scar on his face, first showed a trace of shock, then his demeanor immediately became humble, losing his initial aggressive aura.

Starlight flowed on the monocle, and a ray of starlight, at a speed that no one present could react to, entered the body of a slightly stronger Fighter beside the Dou Grandmaster.

Amon did not continue to waste time on them and walked towards the map store he had inquired about.

After walking down a street, turning left at a three-way intersection, and continuing forward for about a hundred meters, he arrived at the entrance of a somewhat simple shop.

Upon entering, Amon scrutinized the shop owner.

This was an old man, over fifty, with white hair; he wore glasses and was currently bent over, drawing and scribbling on a piece of parchment on the table.

Noticing someone had entered, he immediately stood up to greet them.

"Welcome, guest, what do you need?"

After all, not everyone who sold maps was Hai Bodong; this was just an ordinary Dou Master.

"I need a map of the Black-Corner Region, everything you have, the more detailed the better," Amon said with a slight smile.

The shop owner's smile widened and became more enthusiastic… This was a big customer!

"Guest, I don't have a map of the entire Black-Corner Region; after all, the Black-Corner Region is so vast, and this is just a small shop."

"No matter, just bring out what you have."

The shop owner pulled out several long boxes from under the counter, containing maps made of beast hide.

Amon paid, and after completing the transaction, was about to leave the shop when the owner suddenly spoke:

"Guest, the Black-Corner Region is very large, and Black Storms occasionally blow up, making it very easy to get lost. If you get caught in one, even a Dou King expert would be in danger."

"Perhaps you could find a caravan and travel with them; that way, you'd have someone to look out for you on the road."

"I understand," Amon nodded.

Leaving the shop and walking out of the town, he did not follow the map shop owner's advice.

"Let's go, I'm in a hurry." The Corpse Dance Crow had reverted to its massive size, and Amon flipped onto the crow's back.

The Corpse Dance Crow quickly ascended, soaring deeper into the Black-Domain Great Plains.

Half a day later, Amon, sitting on the bird's back, suddenly turned his head to look to the left.

At the far end of his vision, there was a vast expanse of black. A massive cyclone, connecting heaven and earth, moved forward like a rolling bowling ball, spinning as it advanced.

It appeared slow but rapidly moved from far to near.

"Can't avoid it, the area is too wide," the Corpse Dance Crow spoke in human tongue.

"A Black Storm… Then let's dig a hole in the ground and hide."

Landing on the ground, Amon extended his right hand, palm flat, and a cyan flame gushed out.

The terrifying high temperature melted the earth, burning out a deep and narrow cave.

Amon walked into the cave, the Corpse Dance Crow hopping behind him.

Soon after they entered the cave, the Black Storm suddenly descended.

The gale swept everything on the ground into the sky. Within this endless storm, the outlines of trees, rocks, and small animals were vaguely visible.

This must be the reason why the central area of the Black-Domain Great Plains had no long-term settlements… Amon held a somewhat simplified map that covered most of the Black-Corner Region, pondering in his mind.

Putting away the map, he watched with interest the fierce wind blowing past the cave entrance. Within that expanse of darkness, faint black mist drifted by.

"Did you see it?" Amon raised his right hand, using his index finger knuckle to tap the bottom edge of his monocle.

"Hmm, it's the Jie Jie monster, right?" The Corpse Dance Crow hopped to his side, rubbing the area around its right eye with its right wing.

A ray of starlight emerged from Amon, and a Dou King-level Worm of Spirit floated in mid-air.

Light shimmered around it. Within the light, a simple human outline slowly took shape.

The light gradually faded, but the figure became increasingly clear.

Finally, an Amon, identical in appearance to his main body, appeared at the cave entrance. He condensed a black robe, soft hat, and monocle from Dou Qi.

"You go and make contact with the Jie Jie monster. If possible, join the Soul Hall," the main body Amon said, a gentle smile on his face, looking at the clone before him.

The clone Amon clicked his tongue: "Why don't you go yourself?"

"Because it's very dangerous, and you might die… So I'll have to trouble you," Amon's lips curved into a smile.

"So, make the clone suffer, huh…" This Amon muttered, appearing somewhat unwilling.

However, he ultimately did not refuse the main body's request. After complaining for a bit, he composed himself, pinched his monocle, put on a smile, condensed Dou Qi wings, and flew in the direction where the black mist was drifting.

With his Dou King-level strength, resisting the Black Storm would not be too strenuous; as long as he did not stay in the storm for too long, there would not be too much danger.

About ten minutes later, he finally caught up with the black mist, which was not in a hurry.

Amon smiled and spoke loudly: "Protector, please wait!"

The black mist stopped and condensed somewhat, revealing a blurry human figure.

He let out his characteristic laugh: "Jie Jie…

"You've been following me for so long, what is your purpose? If you don't give a good reason, then your soul will belong to me."
