Douluo: Becoming a God by Relying on my Enemies

Chapter 114: Chapter 114: Who Would Feel Sympathy for a Sour Face?

Yun Feng had no interest in watching the three old men bicker. Standing up, he walked over to a nearby table, poured himself a cup of tea, and began sipping it leisurely.

After the brief argument subsided, Yu Xiaogang walked over with the battle information in hand. Seeing Yun Feng drinking tea, he said, "Yun Feng, could you pour me a cup as well?"

Yun Feng didn't bother replying, merely gesturing toward the teapot to indicate Yu Xiaogang should help himself. He had no intention of serving anyone.

Yu Xiaogang smiled awkwardly and poured himself a cup before sitting down. After taking a sip, he pointed to the documents on the table.

"The seven members of the opposing team form a well-rounded and highly cohesive lineup," he began. "Yun Feng, the two you need to be most cautious of are their captain and vice-captain: the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Spirit Master and the Jade Phosphor Serpent Spirit Master."

Flender, hearing the mention of those familiar martial spirits, suddenly remembered something. He shot a sharp look at Yu Xiaogang, who immediately signaled for him to keep quiet, clearly unwilling to reveal his personal history.

Yun Feng noticed Yu Xiaogang's reaction but didn't press him. Though he had a good idea of what was going on, he decided to listen patiently. Revealing prior knowledge might raise questions he couldn't answer.

"Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon is a top-tier beast martial spirit known for its immense attack power," Yu Xiaogang continued. "It's considered the strongest among beast martial spirits, much like Ning Rongrong's Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda is unparalleled among support spirits."

"As for the Jade Phosphor Serpent Spirit Master, since she's a control-type, she reminds me of someone. Yun Feng, do you know who the most famous Jade Phosphor Serpent Spirit Master on the continent is?"

Feigning surprise, Yun Feng replied, "Could it be Poison Douluo?"

His words drew a collective gasp from the group. Poison Douluo was one of the few known Titled Douluo on the continent, and everyone present had at least heard of him.

Yu Xiaogang nodded gravely. "That's correct. It's Poison Douluo. As far as I know, there are very few Jade Phosphor Serpent Spirit Masters, and even fewer who specialize in control. Considering that this vice-captain is a control-type, it's almost certain she's closely related to Poison Douluo. Few know this, but Poison Douluo's surname is also Dugu."

This revelation left everyone except the girls visibly shaken.

"No wonder their team has optimal spirit ring configurations," Zhao Wuji said, staring at the documents in amazement. "With a Titled Douluo backing them, their spirit rings couldn't be anything less than perfect."

At this point, Ning Rongrong chimed in, her tone calm but thoughtful. "If this vice-captain, Dugu Yan, is Poison Douluo's descendant, then the captain, Yu Tianheng, must be from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, right?"

Yu Xiaogang forced a bitter smile. "Indeed. To my knowledge, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan is the only source of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Spirit Masters."

He sighed and added, "The Emperor Team's background is terrifying. Not only do they have these two, but the Black Tortoise martial spirit is on par with the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon in reputation. The only reason it's less well-known is that there's no organized sect for Black Tortoise Spirit Masters. Despite this, it remains one of the top defensive martial spirits."

Yu Xiaogang looked at Yun Feng with a mix of concern and frustration. "This is why I said this battle would be incredibly difficult for you, Yun Feng. But no one believed me!"

His tone grew increasingly aggrieved, but no one paid him any mind. Who would feel sympathy for a sour face like that?

Amused by the group's chatter, Yun Feng suddenly chuckled. His laugh caught everyone's attention, and they turned to him in confusion.

"Big brother, what's so funny?" Xiao Wu asked curiously.

Spreading his hands casually, Yun Feng replied, "Is my strength so hard to believe? Are they really just some top-tier martial spirits? It's as if I don't have one myself."

Zhao Wuji's face darkened at Yun Feng's confidence but couldn't come up with a rebuttal. Grumbling, he walked over to Yu Xiaogang, joining him in shared indignation.

"Right! Big brother is the strongest!" Ning Rongrong declared with unwavering faith. "Who cares what kind of team they have? Big brother will crush them all!"

Her words earned nods of agreement from Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing. They had complete confidence in Yun Feng, knowing his past battles were no fluke.

Suotuo Great Spirit Arena, VIP Lounge

The No. 3 VIP lounge was a luxurious 200-square-meter room. A massive white leather sofa, over 15 meters long, dominated the space, providing ample seating for more than a dozen people.

The room's decor was lavishly gold-themed, from the ornate chandeliers and wallpaper to the numerous gilded ornaments, exuding an air of opulence.

In front of the sofa was a crystal coffee table laden with exquisite snacks and a variety of beverages. The most striking feature of the room was a wall made entirely of transparent crystal. Specially treated, the crystal allowed those inside to see out while preventing anyone outside from seeing in.

Beyond the crystal wall lay the central main arena—the heart of the Suotuo Great Spirit Arena.

Inside the room were seven individuals, each with their own unique presence. All appeared to be in their early twenties.

Seated in the center of the sofa was a tall, lean young man with long black hair. Though not particularly handsome, his sharp features and the rigid set of his face made him appear cold and unapproachable. Dressed in a simple blue outfit without any embellishments, he exuded an understated yet dangerous aura. Reclining comfortably, he rested with his eyes closed.

Another figure on the sofa was a woman, her posture anything but proper. Instead of sitting upright, she sprawled lazily across the sofa, her fair, delicate feet swinging in mid-air. Her deep purple short hair added a bold edge to her appearance, and her striking green eyes carried a mysterious allure. While not conventionally beautiful, there was a captivating, almost demonic charm about her.

She idly toyed with her green-painted nails, seemingly indifferent to her surroundings. Yet the other men in the room couldn't help but steal glances at her, their gazes betraying their fascination—even the man sitting in the center, though his eyes remained closed.

"Yanzi, can't you sit properly? You're making the guys restless," one of the men teased.
