Douluo: Asking Senior Sister To Join My Harem

Chapter 7: Chapter -7 Am i the soul master or you?

Chapter -7.

The Mandala Snake showed its fierce side, suddenly lunging into the air and crashing against the electric net, creating a surprising gap in the Thunder Net.

As it broke free, the snake's tail whipped around, its tip glowing bright pink as it struck the pursuing Thunder Dragon Claw, effectively shattering Bei Bei's first soul skill.

Nevertheless, Bei Bei's efforts weren't wasted. With one of the strongest beast martial souls, his attack power ranked among the best for soul masters at his level. Despite the Mandala Snake's ferocity, after overcoming two powerful thunder soul skills, it found itself cloaked in a layer of fine electric light and could no longer continue its attack upon landing.

Seeing Bei Bei struggle against the Mandala Snake, Chen Feng turned to Tang Ya and said, "Xiao Ya, let me take care of this Mandala Snake."

Tang Ya looked worriedly at Chen Feng, expressing, "But Chen Feng, that's a thousand-year soul beast!" She remembered their previous chat, where she'd learned that Chen Feng was just a Great Soul Master, and this thousand-year soul beast was a challenge even for Soul Respect experts.

Chen Feng smiled confidently, saying, "It's just a thousand-year soul beast." With that, he exuded a sharp intensity, activating the first soul skill of the Soul Breaking Blade, called Sharpening. Chen Feng was so skilled that he could unleash his soul skill without revealing his spirit rings.

The Soul Breaking Blade in his hand shimmered with a fluorescent glow. In that moment, after a collision between the Mandala Snake and Bei Bei, the snake landed on the ground.

Chen Feng sprang into action, using Instant Transmission to appear behind the Mandala Snake, slashing at it with his blade. Tang Ya gasped as she witnessed Chen Feng disappear from her side, shortly followed by a pained scream.

Turning quickly to find the source of the cry, she spotted a young man with black hair and striking features, his hair flying wildly as he wielded a black blade, radiating a sense of authority and strength.

On the ground lay a large piece of pink snake flesh, with blood gushing from the Mandala Snake's abdomen that had let out the scream.

Even though Instant Transmission was a divine skill, it took time to position himself behind the snake, swing his blade, and land the strike. Chen Feng aimed for the snake's vital point, but it twisted away just in time to avoid a fatal hit.

Still, the spiritual impact of Chen Feng's strike sent the Mandala Snake into a frenzy. Soul beasts typically had weak spiritual strength, and his attack nearly shattered the Mandala Snake's spiritual sea.

With the Soul Breaking Blade in hand reflecting the sunlight, Chen Feng swung again, cutting through the air with a chilling yet powerful aura.

The blade sparkled in the light, almost seeming to dance to its own rhythm. With a flash, the upper half of the Mandala Snake was severed, and Chen Feng's gaze was as calm and cold as a winter lake.

As she watched Chen Feng striking down the Mandala Snake with such grace, Tang Ya felt a spark of admiration ignite in her eyes.

Bei Bei stood there in shock, rubbing his eyes in disbelief. "Am I the soul master, or are you?!"

The Broken Soul Blade in Chen Feng's hand was now stained with blood, which he shook off, letting a line of crimson pool on the ground.

Huo Yuhao, hidden at the back, couldn't help but swallow hard. So strong, truly strong. Watching this mature, powerful peer, he felt a deep longing to possess such talent and strength himself…

In truth, Chen Feng was also taking advantage of the moment; the Mandala Snake was caught off guard, initially focusing on Bei Bei when Chen Feng suddenly teleported in for a surprise attack.

Moreover, the soul beast's spiritual power was inherently weak, especially constrained by Chen Feng's Broken Soul Blade. Otherwise, even a soul master at the same level would not be easily overwhelmed.

Of course, Bei Bei and Tang Ya had no clue about Chen Feng's true capabilities; they simply witnessed him swoop in and take down the Mandala Snake in an instant.

Looking at the stunned onlookers, Chen Feng smiled and said, "Sister Xia Ya, don't you need the Mandala Snake's soul ring? Hurry up and act."

Realizing what was happening, Tang Ya glanced at the nearly lifeless Mandala Snake and quickly delivered the final blow.

A circle of purple soul rings began to rise slowly from the Mandala Snake's body.

Unable to contain her excitement, she threw her arms around Chen Feng in a big hug. "Thank you, Chen Feng!"

"Sister Xia Ya, there's no need to be so polite. We're all students of Shrek Academy, helping each other out. And besides, you really like this..." Chen Feng chuckled lightly, his demeanor calm and steady, without unnecessary movements.

While Tang Ya may not have had the maturity of an older sister, her lively spirit and charm were equally captivating.

Hearing Chen Feng's teasing, Tang Ya's face turned a bit red as she quickly pulled away, playfully scolding, "Not at all! I see you as a little brother; you can't have any inappropriate thoughts about your sister!"

"Xia Ya, get ready to absorb the soul ring," Bei Bei said coolly as he approached.

Chen Feng remained unfazed, maintaining his calm expression. He caught Bei Bei's awkward glance at him and simply smiled back; if Bei Bei's gaze had the power to alter his demeanor, it would have been for nothing over these years.

Had it not been for his desire to wait for Eilex near Huo Yuhao, Chen Feng would have long since ventured to the extreme north.

Why waste his time in the Star Dou Forest?

At this moment, Tang Ya sat cross-legged, beginning to absorb the Mandala Snake's third soul ring.

As Bei Bei looked at Chen Feng's unshaken gaze, for the first time, he felt a sense of defeat.

In terms of temperament, appearance, and even strength, Bei Bei doubted his ability to surpass Chen Feng.

Moreover, being several years older made him feel even more inadequate.

The innocent Huo Yuhao stared blankly at Chen Feng and Bei Bei.

Yet, his thoughts were consumed by the strength Chen Feng had just demonstrated.

While feelings of jealousy brewed in Bei Bei's heart, he acknowledged that Chen Feng had never actively sought to overshadow Xia Ya; they had defeated the Mandala Snake thanks to his assistance, hence owing him a favor.

The truth was that it was Xia Ya who had been making advances...

After a moment's reflection, Bei Bei said to Chen Feng, "I realize now I've been out of balance in my thoughts. I want to apologize and sincerely thank you for your help. I owe you one." He regained his elegant smile as he looked at Chen Feng.

Chen Feng surveyed Bei Bei, slightly taken aback. If he used to see Bei Bei as an older person playing tricks on a child, embodying a triumph of maturity over immaturity, he now felt a newfound respect.

Unfortunately, that was all; it was merely enough for Chen Feng to take Bei Bei a bit more seriously.

In the future, Chen Feng would blaze a trail ahead, surging forward, while all his peers could only gaze up at his retreating figure until he disappeared from view.
