Douluo: Asking Senior Sister To Join My Harem

Chapter 30: Chapter -30 Farewell, Ling Luocheng.

Chapter- 30.

The enchanting smile that gradually spread across the face of the elegant woman under the moonlight left the nearby male students speechless. Even Chen Feng was caught off guard for a moment, but he quickly regained his composure. Ling Luocheng approached Chen Feng, clearly there to see him. In an instant, the other male students looked at Chen Feng with envy; jealousy wasn't even on the table for them... They could only sigh, realizing that being handsome and strong definitely has its perks.

The female students began to speculate about the connection between this "older woman" and Chen Feng, secretly lamenting their own plight; they not only had to compete with each other but also with seniors. Chen Feng beamed with a friendly greeting, saying, "Senior Ling." He moved closer to Ling Luocheng.

As Ling Luocheng observed Chen Feng's approach, her smile faded a little, and with a teasing hint of irritation, she said, "Don't call me Senior Ling. I told you to come find me when you had a chance, but look at you—it's been ages since I heard from you."

Chen Feng recalled that their last meeting was merely a week ago; was that really such a long time? He looked at Ling Luocheng and explained, "I've been focused on closed-door training, developing my own soul skill these past few days. I just wrapped it up yesterday, but hey, Senior, you're not in the inner academy uniform today?"

Ling Luocheng shot him a knowing glance, thinking, "Didn't I switch outfits just to meet you? Otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered at all." She replied nonchalantly, "The inner academy uniform stands out too much, so I opted for a dress instead. What do you think? Doesn't it look lovely?"

Chen Feng took a moment to admire Ling Luocheng, and he was instantly captivated. She wore a flowing white long dress that danced gently in the evening breeze, exuding an elegant and refined aura. The dress was beautifully designed, perfectly accentuating Ling Luocheng's tall figure and creating stunning curves. The fitted bodice highlighted her well-toned silhouette; while different from the bold presence of Ma Xiaotao, it had a charm all its own.

Her slim waist was delicate, and the unique shoulder design showcased her graceful collarbone, resembling butterfly wings and adding to Ling Luocheng's air of nobility. The skirt gracefully covered her thighs, revealing two long, fair calves. The lace hem and golden embroidery were exquisitely detailed, and the sheer fabric almost revealed the soft skin underneath, stirring a sense of admiration.

Noticing Chen Feng admiring her outfit, Ling Luocheng's cheeks blossomed with a slight blush. She playfully teased him, "Alright, are you done taking it all in? Is it beautiful?"

Chen Feng replied, "The dress is stunning, but Senior Ling is even more breathtaking."

Ling Luocheng's face lit up with joy, her demeanor still cool but now accompanied by a proud smile as she hummed, "You do have great taste."

The two continued their light-hearted conversation. Ling Luocheng had initially felt a bit irritated about Chen Feng not reaching out sooner, but when she learned that he had been training hard to create his own soul skill, her interest was piqued. As a passionate soul master, Ling Luocheng found the idea of self-created soul skills thrilling. The inner academy of Shrek Academy offered teachings on powerful soul skill manipulation.

Many methods of using soul skills were closely held secrets by Shrek Academy, accessible only to inner academy disciples who had signed confidentiality agreements.

However, these techniques were just combinations of several soul skills—essentially explosive techniques akin to soul skill combos, maximizing the synergy between multiple soul skills. While these techniques do offer some strength enhancement, the improvement isn't particularly substantial.

Learning that Chen Feng had developed his own soul skill truly astonished Ling Luocheng. As more and more outer academy students gathered after classes to witness the scene, she quickly took Chen Feng's hand, urging him to leave.

"Ling Senior Sister!!"

"Chen Feng, alright, listen to what Senior Sister says. Staying cooped up in closed-door training all the time isn't good; you need to find a balance between work and relaxation. Tonight, we won't practice; Senior Sister is taking you on a nice stroll around Shrek to help you unwind." Ling Luocheng held Chen Feng's hand, feeling a little shy while her heart raced with excitement. What Ling Luocheng was truly thinking remained a mystery…

At the eastern city gate of Shrek, since Huo Yuhao didn't have any money, Tang Ya devised a way for him to support himself. The solution? He would set up a stall to sell grilled fish.

Tang Ya said to Huo Yuhao, "Yuhao, let's go set up a stall at the east city of Shrek—there are lots of people there." Huo Yuhao followed Tang Ya outside the academy, where numerous vendors lined the main road by the east gate, with many students sporting Shrek Academy uniforms also selling goods.

The variety of items for sale was dazzling, particularly the food stalls, which were the most prevalent, filling the air with cheerful calls. Not far from the city gate, Tang Ya pulled out the needed tools for grilling fish.

She prepared a metal grill, an iron rack, various seasonings, cleaned and ready green fish, and even set up a small table. Tang Ya turned to Huo Yuhao and said, "Alright, Yuhao, now it's your turn to show off your skills. Remember to save two grilled fish for me. Each one sells for five copper coins." With that, the little foodie Tang Ya dashed off eagerly.

Huo Yuhao first checked the seasonings before getting to work on the green fish. After marinating the fish, he started his grilling venture, humming a happy tune as he worked; these moments at Shrek Academy felt like the happiest time of his life.

Before this, after Wang Dong had bullied him, Tang Ya had stood up for Huo Yuhao. Once she learned that Tang Ya was the master of the Tang Sect and Huo Yuhao was her disciple, Wang Dong, despite still looking down on him, had never hit him again.

Moreover, Bei Bei had helped Huo Yuhao clear his blocked meridians. Although they still weren't perfect, they no longer obstructed his cultivation. Today, Huo Yuhao had been overjoyed by his homeroom teacher Zhou Yi's affirmation. His heart swelled with pride, remembering how Zhou Yi had replaced Wang Dong as class monitor and appointed him instead; just thinking about Wang Dong's sour face made Huo Yuhao feel giddy.

With his martial soul activated and the enhanced vision from his spiritual eye, Huo Yuhao expertly controlled the grilling process. The grilled green fish turned a perfect golden brown, with a glistening sheen of oil, releasing mouth-watering aromas from within.

Soon enough, the irresistible scent of the fish attracted a third-year Shrek student in a purple uniform, who eagerly approached to buy one. As soon as he took a bite, the purple-clad student paused, completely forgetting about the heat from the freshly grilled fish, and devoured it quickly.

Seeing how deliciously the student was enjoying the fish, other Shrek students quickly understood just how tasty Huo Yuhao's grilled fish must be, and they eagerly lined up, snatching up the other three grilled fish he had just made.

As Huo Yuhao's business boomed with excited customers, a beautiful girl stepping out of the Shrek Academy gate caught everyone's attention.
