Chapter -15.

Chen Feng arrived at Shrek Academy and turned to Ling Luocheng, who was by his side, saying, "Senior Ling, I think I'll go register first."

Ling Luocheng glanced at him, her typically cold face breaking into a small smile. "Since you're new around here, let me guide you through the registration process." With that, she took the lead, heading toward the registration area.

Clearly, someone as gifted as Chen Feng, who had both twin martial souls and an ultimate martial soul, was someone Ling Luocheng was eager to befriend, even if there weren't any romantic feelings involved.

As they walked together, Chen Feng noticed many students at Shrek Academy casting envious glances his way, probably due to his association with the inner courtyard disciple Ling Luocheng. However, with his easy-going personality, he paid little mind to their looks.

Upon reaching the registration area, they found over a dozen young men and women who were slightly older than Chen Feng. They were dressed in yellow outfits adorned with green badges, representing second and third-year students from the outer courtyard of Shrek Academy.

The most striking figures were two individuals donned in purple uniforms, which were designated for fourth and fifth-year students. 

One of them was a boy who looked around fourteen or fifteen, of average height with neatly styled short black hair and distinct features. He wore a friendly smile as he conducted soul power tests for the new female students. The other was a girl of similar age to him, who, although ordinary in appearance, had a good figure and was busy testing the soul power of some male students.

Suddenly, a pair of striking students, a golden boy and girl, entered the registration area, catching everyone's attention.

"Inner courtyard senior!" 

The outer courtyard students immediately stood up, showing their respect to Ling Luocheng. "Senior, do you have any instructions for us?"

In Shrek Academy, inner courtyard disciples held a status that exceeded that of outer courtyard teachers, so it was no surprise that the students acted respectfully.

Ling Luocheng responded coolly, "I'm here with my younger brother to register. Please expedite the process."

One of the registration students quickly added, "For the inner courtyard senior's brother, there's no need for testing. Just submit the recommendation letter and enroll directly."

However, Chen Feng chimed in, "Let's do the test anyway."

In no time, the student presented a crystal ball for testing soul power to Chen Feng.

He handed in his recommendation letter, registered his details, and focused his soul power into his palm, placing it on the crystal ball. As he infused his soul power, a bright blue hue lit up the crystal ball.

The ball radiated brilliantly, casting a stunning glow.

"What? Soul power over level thirty? What kind of incredible talent is this?!"

Both new students and returning ones looked on in awe at Chen Feng's results.

With a smile, Chen Feng asked, "So, am I qualified, senior?"

The registration official was momentarily speechless, nodding vigorously, "Qualified, definitely qualified, and after the..."

Before he could finish, Ling Luocheng interjected, "I'll explain everything to Chen Feng later; you can assist the other new students now."

Ling Luocheng turned to Chen Feng and said, "Come on, let me show you around Shrek Academy."

Once they left the registration area, the buzz of excitement about Chen Feng's entrance began.

However, he remained blissfully unaware of the stir he had caused.

As they ventured through Shrek Academy, the environment was breathtaking, with lush greenery all around. Walking down the broad avenue, Chen Feng could see a variety of meticulously tended plants in every direction.

After walking about two hundred meters, they encountered several massive statues blocking their way. These statues, more than ten in total and each standing ten meters tall, were carved from granite and honored the founders of Shrek Academy, the original Shrek Seven Monsters from ten thousand years ago.

Ling Luocheng took this opportunity to explain things to Chen Feng, and as they walked together, they resembled a couple, drawing the gaze of many passing students.

Turning left from the statues, the road was wide enough for multiple carriages to travel side by side, with a sign indicating "Lakeside Path."

Through the shaded trees to the right, a glimpse of a large lake could be seen, revealing that the statues were situated right by it.

Ling Luocheng pointed out, "In the center of that lake is Sea God Island, where our inner courtyard disciples study. If you encounter any issues in the outer courtyard, don't hesitate to find me there."

As she spoke, she tossed a badge to Chen Feng, which he accepted with gratitude.

They continued their leisurely stroll along the lakeside path, heading south for nearly fifteen minutes before turning west. After walking for another fifteen minutes, the path opened up to reveal a spacious rectangular square, along with a sign for Shrek Square.

Behind the square, there were tall teaching buildings in various colors— predominantly white, yellow, purple, and black—in the distance, a cluster of gray buildings could also be seen.

"The different colors of the buildings signify various grades, based on soul ring colors. White is for new students; yellow is for the second and third-year outer courtyard buildings; purple represents the fourth and fifth-year buildings, while black is for the sixth-year teaching building. If you finish the program in the black building, you'll graduate from the outer courtyard."

"The gray buildings in the distance belong to the Soul Guidance Department. Beyond the front buildings, there are many specialized teaching zones behind them, like the soul fighting arena, assessment area, dormitories, and teachers' offices. As you spend time here, you'll get familiar with all these spots. The new student teaching building is at the southernmost point."

"Now, let's go take care of your tuition, assign you to a class, arrange your dormitory, and get you your new student uniform."

With Ling Luocheng by his side, the entire process went smoothly, and soon Chen Feng was placed in Class Nine.

After receiving his dormitory key, two sets of uniforms, and a white new student badge, he and Ling Luocheng stepped out of the new student teaching building.

Ling Luocheng mentioned, "It's getting late; I have to return to the inner courtyard now. If you need anything, remember to come find me."

With that, she gracefully stepped onto the surface of Sea God Lake, gliding quickly as if walking on lotus flowers. A round ice crystal formed under her feet, sparkling in the sunlight as she made her way toward Sea God Island.

Chen Feng watched Ling Luocheng move away, still catching whiffs of her lingering fragrance, stirring something within him from the Yin-Yang technique. 

Yet maintaining his composure, Chen Feng's strong mental fortitude remained steady, and he walked towards the dormitory building without a hint of hesitation.

As he passed by, he spotted a notice on a nearby bulletin board.

It read: "Class teacher for New Student Class Nine, Mu Jin."
