Chapter 331: Ymir: Krista, I'm Sorry! We Can't Get Married

"These appliances and furniture are too good!"

Ymir had never felt that ordinary days could be so comfortable. Soft sofas and large beds, simple and clean bathing facilities, and various refreshing bath items. After showering, her whole body and mind felt clear.

Annie had said that she now lived like this every day with Ren. She not only had great power but also a free and beautiful life. Although Annie obeyed Ren, in their eyes, she was free.

She and Krista were quite envious. Mikasa didn't show much expression.

When Ren was mentioned, Ymir's heart became conflicted again. She clearly loved Krista and wanted to be with her.

But after truly bathing together, soaking together, and being completely open with each other, she discovered... facing Krista's perfect body, she had no reaction.

How could this be?

She had even actively offered to scrub Krista's back, trying to touch her skin. To her despair, she truly felt nothing.

Do I not love Krista? Confusion involuntarily arose in her mind.

"Let's go upstairs." Annie, also in her swimsuit, led the flushed Krista and Mikasa, and the confused Ymir, upstairs.

Halfway up, they heard a puzzling noise. Annie's expression changed, and she stopped. She turned and told the three, "You go rest first. Ren must be very tired."

After speaking, Annie, in her white bikini, went upstairs on her own.

"???"

What was left were two bewildered people and one indifferent person.

After a while, Ymir whispered, "Let's see what's going on." She didn't believe he was tired; he must be up to something.

Krista hesitated for a moment, then nodded. The two quietly went upstairs, with Mikasa silently following. When they reached the last few steps, they could already see the scene on the rooftop through the large floor-to-ceiling windows.

"!!!!"

A scene that left their minds blank with shock appeared.

In Ren's room.

"Ren, can't you be a little more restrained!" Ymir, wearing a loose white T-shirt, sat on the bed, protesting solemnly. Her expression carried clear anger and shame. All of this stemmed from the swimming pool incident.

Ren had remained uninhibited afterwards, which caused trouble for Ymir and Krista. In this situation, she had no idea how to go out; he could be anywhere. Mikasa, however, showed no reaction.

Finally, on the third night, the broken Ymir chose to confront him, which led to the current situation.

Ren sat in a chair, looking calm. "Oh? I don't quite understand what you're saying."

How could he not understand? These past two days, he had discovered Tsunade and the others' preferences. He was pretending not to understand on purpose.

"What else could it be? Of course, you need to be more restrained, or else send Krista, Mikasa, and me back!" She really couldn't bear it anymore. She didn't dare to leave the room all day except for meals, fearing what she might see. Even staying in the room was uncomfortable; her fingers were aching.

Ren spread his hands. "Then I have good news for you: we're leaving tomorrow morning."

"Ah? Leaving?" Ymir froze. She suddenly remembered that they weren't going to stay for long anyway.

For a moment, an indescribable emotion spread from her heart. She was the one who had come to demand they leave, so why did she feel reluctant now that it was time? Ymir couldn't understand her own emotions.

Seeing her downcast expression, Ren stood up. He walked to her and used his index finger to lift her chin. "What, you don't want me to leave?"

"What nonsense are you spouting! I can't wait for you to leave!" Ymir looked directly into his eyes, her words filled with impatience and prickliness.

"Is that so?"

"Hey!" Ymir cried out as Ren pushed her down with a slight force. He pressed her hands above her head, his fingers slowly intertwining with hers. She still didn't resist.

Ren smiled slightly. "Remember? You didn't resist me that day either."

"…" Ymir, exposed, pursed her lips. "So what? You made the first move!" She scoffed. "Don't tell me you'd like an ugly woman like me, who lacks femininity."

Compared to Tsunade, Saeko, or even Annie, Ymir had a clear self-perception. She didn't think she was better than them in any way. Her skin wasn't smooth enough, her figure was too thin, and she had freckles.

She didn't think Ren, such a mysterious, powerful man with so many beautiful women, would like her.

Unfortunately, she was wrong. Ren's answer was a direct and decisive kiss.

"Mmm!" Ymir froze, her eyes wide with disbelief. His actions seemed to be telling her the answer.

Within those passionate lips, Ren's image in her mind became clearer. She somewhat understood why she hadn't developed feelings for Krista. At this very moment, her body was radiating an irresistible heat.

Tears streamed from the corners of her eyes. I'm sorry, Krista. I can no longer marry you.

Ymir's hands broke free from his grasp. She actively grabbed his hair, closed her eyes, and passionately responded to him. She chose to face herself, at the cost of betraying Krista.
