Dominate the Super Bowl

Chapter 1322: A Great Fire

Hah.

Without any warning, the support beneath Biyaide's body was suddenly pulled out; his heart suspended in the air, fear and anxiety didn't even have time to take root before inertia and gravity had already flung his body forward, stumbling steps leading him into an abyss with no way to stop.

Biyaide: ???

He didn't understand.

Biyaide kept flying forward, his steps leaving the sideline, and the swaying, staggering figure of number twenty-three re-entered his right field of vision.

Despite the bumps, despite the swaying, precarious and tottering; yet, the advancing steps of number twenty-three did not cease, the field sideline was like tightrope wires, and he was the world's finest juggler, gracefully dancing on the edge of the cliff.

"Edgerunner."

Biyaide's mind was filled with a single thought, yet he didn't have time to contemplate further. The next second, his feet left the ground, his body soared into the air, the entire person simply flew out.

Even so, no one paid attention to Biyaide. Countless gazes were all focused on a single person—

Li Wei.

Stumbling, elusive, like a kite swaying in a storm.

A gentle breeze, not even needing physical contact, gravity and rotational inertia were enough to disrupt balance, driving him off the field.

But, this was Li Wei.

Gritting his teeth, holding his breath, taking in a deep breath, he gently tiptoed, dancing frenetic on the knife-edge, his nimble steps sprinting wildly in the gusting storm.

Twenty-yard line.

Precarious, teetering.

Yet, he stood unbowed, like a pine tree in a storm, defiantly straightening his back, unwaveringly maintaining his balance, calmly facing the storm.

All eyes were gathered here, that streak of red transformed into a sharp blade stabbing at the heart of the vast ocean ahead.

Fifteen yards.

The Tennessee Titans' secondary defense finally realized the danger, Hill and Watkins were all just smoke bombs, linemen, and safety sprinted towards Li Wei; but the problem was, the distance was too far.

Hill was on one sideline, while Li Wei was on the other, spanning the entire field.

The players of the Tennessee Titans were sprinting at full speed, the sweeping white and blue figures roaring through the air.

The whole venue, storms arose.

Ten yards.

The red figure of number twenty-three grew faster and faster amidst the turbulence, turning into a blur, attempting to break through the engulfing white and blue waves, an invisible thin membrane continuously pushed by the red figure's strides, seemingly on the verge of completely breaking free.

At this moment, his knee buckled, his steps stumbled—

In the chaos, trying to speed up, his knee and calf couldn't brace against the ground, strength misaligned, his center of gravity pitched forward, seemingly about to fall.

In a split second, all the noise of the world was cut off, staring wide-eyed, focused, even momentarily forgetting the tension and worries.

"Push off."

This was the sole thought in Li Wei's mind, single-mindedly forward, he refuses to surrender, refuse to give up, refuse to compromise, this was their fight.

Until the game ends, it's not over.

Unsteady and staggering, his body almost losing control, Li Wei simply lunged forward, using his left hand to support the ground—

Hmph.

One push-off.

Still not enough, second push-off.

Using both hands and feet, amidst the swaying turmoil, he finally regained balance, straightened his back, and resumed speed.

This delay, the encirclement was closing in.

However, to Li Wei, it was no longer a threat—

Push-off, push-off, push-off again, the speed unleashed once more.

Carter couldn't control himself anymore, "Ten. Nine. Eight."

Slowly and involuntarily stood up, clenching his fists, shouting at the number twenty-three's back on the field, burning with life's energy.

At the Kansas Chiefs Stadium sideline, Chris Jones stood grimly, shouting with all his might, "Seven, six, five."

One sentence, then another.

Jones knew, they needed unity, they needed to rally, despite the defense missing Li Wei's call-outs at the sideline, the offensive group's energy reignited Arrowhead Stadium.

Now, was the moment to fight.

One after another, they all stood up, even Nantz in the live broadcast room was no exception, joining the fervor with all his voice.

"Four. Three. Two. Touchdown."

"Touchdoooooown——!"

"Unstoppable, flawless, the Kansas City Chiefs make a powerful comeback, as the two-time defending champions destroy their opponents with an unstoppable wave of attack."

"Five offensive plays, seventy-five yards, two minutes and fifty-eight seconds, with a touchdown."

"The Kansas City Chiefs shattered the deadlock with unparalleled performance, disrupting the Tennessee Titans' rhythm decisively, breaking the shutout dilemma."

"Li Wei, once again, it's Li Wei, as expected, it's Li Wei."

"Not only because Li Wei finished this fourteen-yard reception, and smoothly pushed into the end zone; before this reception, Li Wei had already disrupted the Tennessee Titans Defense by acting as bait, and when Li Wei enters his Godlike State, no one in the league can stop him."

"No one."

"Li Wei proves through his actions that he is still the most dangerous figure in the league."

In the end zone, Li Wei released—

Suppressed so long, frustrated again and again, tonight in the divisional game, they stumbled throughout, playing too stifled, too frustratingly.

Until now.

Finally, fully released.

Ah!

Li Wei ferociously pounded the football into the ground, clenching his fists, howling at the sky.

Ahhhh!

Fury, passion, determination, all entwined and unreservedly unleashed.

Ahhhh!

Then, Li Wei's eyes swept around the venue, fierce and resolute, instantly igniting the fervor of Arrowhead Stadium.

Listen, Kansas City is singing.

"The storm is coming."

"The storm is coming!"

Again and again, united in purpose, bound together as one, surging forth, unleashing a roaring clamor over the Arrowhead Stadium—

Home curse?

Ha, go ahead, bring on the curse, the hex, the doom, the shackles, whatever you have, bring it all, this is the Kansas City Arrowhead Stadium, this is their fortress and stronghold, this is their support for igniting hope and chasing dreams, this is the stage for their lives to shine.

They won't quail, won't retreat, won't give up, and won't be afraid, let the storm come fiercer.

Just like Annie. Just like Felix.

Even if faced with death, even if facing a war with a foregone conclusion, they won't surrender, they'll fight to the last with heads held high, and then stand upright, calmly accepting their end, even Death trembles before them.

Indeed, 2019 season is welcoming a storm, but the Kansas City Chiefs have their own voice too:

We are the storm.

Again, and again, and again.

The whole Arrowhead Stadium united firmly, a vast flame raging through, painting the brilliant night sky a dazzling red.

Even in a significant score deficit, even when the first quarter is totally crushed, so what? They won't forget who they are.

Unyielding, united, fighting to the end, now, it's time to awaken the league's fear memory of the "Playoff Chief".

The game has just begun, but are the Tennessee Titans ready mentally?
