The more Zhang Man thought about it, the more jealous she became, her whole body practically twisting with envy. She watched Liu Yunxi nestled in Liu Ergou's arms and made a secret decision.

That's it. I have to snatch Liu Ergou from Liu Yunxi! A man as wonderful as him... only I am worthy of him!

Having reached this conclusion, Zhang Man took several deep breaths, forcing herself to calm her agitated emotions. She then wrapped her clothes tightly around herself and sat in a corner, slowly composing herself.

「Time flew, and three hours passed.」

By then, it was deep into the night. Only now did the howling sea finally begin to calm. Inside the changing room, everyone was growing drowsy.

Liu Ergou, however, was wide awake. He glanced at the calm weather outside, then clapped his hands to wake the drowsy crowd.

"Alright, everyone, wake up!" he announced. "The weather has settled down. Let's all get going and head home. Sleeping here is a bad idea; you'll catch a cold! Everybody, get up!"

With that, Liu Ergou led the way, standing up, opening the door, and stepping out. Following his lead, the sleepy group rubbed their eyes, got up from the floor, and trailed after him away from the beach. Soon, everyone was on their way home.

On the way back to the hotel, Liu Yunxi clung affectionately to Liu Ergou's arm, resting her head on his shoulder. She was the very picture of a doting woman. Seeing this, Liu Ergou chuckled and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. It didn't take long for them to get back to the hotel.

The moment they returned to their room, Liu Ergou was eager to flop onto the bed for a good rest. Although he had rested for a while in the changing room, that was sitting on the floor. Resting on the ground could never compare to the comfort of a real bed.

However, before he could take a step, Liu Yunxi stopped him.

"Er Gou, you can't get straight into bed!"

This one restriction made Liu Ergou wail in protest. "Ugh! You can't be serious!" he cried out. "Why not, Yun Xi? I'm exhausted! Please, just let me get some rest!"

But even as he pleaded, Liu Yunxi refused.

"No, not even for a minute. We have to shower first. We can only rest after we've showered!"

As she spoke, she grabbed his arm and began dragging him toward the bathroom. Liu Ergou thought about resisting, but seeing the serious look on her face, he gave up the idea.

With a helpless expression, he asked, "But Yun Xi, why won't you let me rest? Why do you insist I have to shower first?"

Liu Yunxi explained, "We just came from the ocean, remember? You're covered in sea salt! It can irritate your skin, so it's best to wash it off quickly. Understand?"

Hearing her explanation, Liu Ergou finally understood.

The two of them went into the bathroom. Liu Yunxi tested the water temperature for him and was about to leave, but as soon as she moved, Liu Ergou grabbed her wrist.

"Yun Xi~" he called softly.

"Ah, what is it?" she asked, looking at him with a puzzled expression.

Seeing her adorable look, Liu Ergou pulled her into his arms. He lowered his head and whispered in her ear, "Yun Xi, I want you to wash me!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, Liu Yunxi's face flushed crimson. In the blink of an eye, she was as red as an apple.

"Ah, I... I wash you?" she stammered.

Liu Ergou chuckled. "Hehe, that's right. You wash me!"

He had expected her to gently refuse, but to his utter surprise, Liu Yunxi simply nodded shyly, agreeing without protest. Liu Ergou was instantly overjoyed.

Honestly, I've never had a beautiful woman help me bathe before. Of course, that was just a passing thought. What truly mattered was that her agreeing to help him meant their relationship had taken another step forward. Thinking of this, his heart filled with happiness. He then casually spread his arms, signaling for her to do as she pleased.

Looking at the tall man before her, Liu Yunxi took a nervous deep breath. Then, she cautiously removed his shirt and tossed it to the floor. Gazing at his upper body, her face turned an even deeper shade of red. Even though she had seen it countless times, she couldn't help but blush. Taking another deep breath to steady herself, she proceeded to the next step.

Soon, with her face beet red and her head averted, Liu Yunxi picked up the shower head and began to wash him. Seeing her like this, Liu Ergou couldn't resist teasing her.

"Yun Xi, if you're washing me without looking, are you sure you can get me clean?"

Hearing his teasing, Liu Yunxi remained silent, quietly continuing her task as if she were a robot, devoid of emotion. Her reaction truly made Liu Ergou want to laugh. She was just too adorable this way.

In no time, she had washed his upper body until it was squeaky clean, not a trace of seawater remaining. But when it came to his lower half, Liu Yunxi faltered, suddenly at a loss for what to do. Seeing her distress, Liu Ergou wasn't anxious. He just stood there quietly, watching her.

After a good while, Liu Yunxi finally took a deep breath, preparing to continue. But just as she reached out her hand, Liu Ergou suddenly scooped up a handful of water and splashed it all over her. Instantly, a large patch of her clothing was soaked through. The wet fabric made her fair skin faintly visible, adding an unusual allure to her appearance.

"Hey, Er Gou, what are you doing!" Liu Yunxi cried, covering her chest with a shy expression.

Looking at her bashful state, Liu Ergou explained with a straight face, "It's nothing, Yun Xi. I just figured your clothes were going to get wet anyway, so I might as well help you out! See? This saves a lot of time!"
