He was so furious he could barely breathe. "Damn it! This bunch of good-for-nothings! They can't even handle one simple thing!"

Panting heavily, Yuan Wenkang pulled out his phone and dialed a number. The call connected almost immediately, and he unleashed his uncontrollable rage on the person on the other end.

"You idiots! All of you are idiots!" he screamed. "Who was it that guaranteed me Baozhi Hall would be crippled? And what happened? Nothing! Absolutely nothing happened to them, and I'm the one who ended up looking like a clown!"

While Yuan Wenkang was cursing his head off, Lu Shuangyue and Liu Ergou were upstairs in the private room, feasting heartily. They enjoyed the delightful meal for over an hour before Liu Ergou finally stopped eating, though still not fully satisfied.

"The taste is good, but the portions are too small!" Liu Ergou said with a sigh of resignation.

"That's normal," Lu Shuangyue explained to Liu Ergou, who was still eating. "Restaurants like this always serve small portions, and they're expensive. That's a Michelin star for you!"

Liu Ergou just grunted and resumed his feast.

Soon, both were full. They leaned back in their chairs, their postures completely relaxed. As the old saying goes, a full stomach and a warm body lead the mind to other desires. A sly smile graced Lu Shuangyue's lips as she suddenly stood up and sat down directly in Liu Ergou's lap. Her hands slipped inside his clothes, finally coming to rest on his chest.
