Doctor and His Glamorous Sister-in-Law

Carrying a lunchbox, Liu Ergou walked along the path toward his fields. It wasn't long before he arrived and saw Xu Yulan already hard at work.

"Sister-in-law!" Liu Ergou shouted.

Xu Yulan, who was in the middle of her work, was startled by the sudden call. But when she realized it was Liu Ergou, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at him.

"Er Gou, you scared me!" As she spoke, Xu Yulan patted her chest, and her full chest heaved.

Liu Ergou just chuckled, saying nothing, but his gaze was glued to her chest. This made Xu Yulan's pretty face turn red, and she instinctively stepped forward and lightly smacked him.

"What are you looking at! We're outside! You should have some restraint. Aren't you afraid someone will see?"

Hearing this, Liu Ergou just chuckled again and took out the lunchbox.

"Sister-in-law, I brought you lunch. Stop working for now; we'll eat first and then get back to it!"

Xu Yulan nodded and sat down with Liu Ergou in the shade of a tree. As Xu Yulan ate, Liu Ergou stared at her, unblinking.

Within just a few minutes, her face was already beet red.

"Er Gou, what are you doing? Staring at me while I'm trying to eat?"

Liu Ergou just grinned and said nothing.

Even though Liu Ergou had toiled for half of the previous night and had been working again all morning, his inner fire was still burning strong. Looking at his sister-in-law before him, dressed in thin clothing, his desire flared up once more.

Reaching out, he pulled Xu Yulan into an embrace.

This caused Xu Yulan, who had been eating, to stiffen.

"Er... Er Gou... stop fooling around... We're outside... If other people..."

However, Liu Ergou paid no attention to her words, simply chuckling to himself.

Just as he was about to make his next move, a voice suddenly called out.

"Er Gou!"

"Er Gou!"

Hearing the shouts, Liu Ergou snapped back to reality. He quickly withdrew his hands and pretended as if nothing had happened.

Soon, a short man came running from a distance. Upon seeing Liu Ergou, the man immediately sped up and ran over to him.

Seeing the short man, Liu Ergou raised an eyebrow. Wasn't this San Lengzi, the dimwit who lived next door? Why would he suddenly come looking for me? I don't think we've ever really spoken.

While Liu Ergou was puzzled, San Lengzi had already reached him, panting heavily. "Er... Er Gou... you... you need to go back..."

Watching the panting San Lengzi, Liu Ergou grew worried, afraid the man might pass out from the exertion. After all, the man had been frail since childhood. If something really happened, he'd have a serious problem on his hands.

Liu Ergou quickly poured a bowl of water for San Lengzi.

After taking the water, San Lengzi took a couple of gasping breaths before downing it in one go. He finally caught his breath.

"Phew..." San Lengzi let out a long sigh of relief. He then continued, "Er Gou, hurry home! There's a car parked outside your house!"

"There's a beautiful woman in the car who said she's looking for you! You should go check it out, quickly!"

At the mention of the beautiful woman, San Lengzi's face flushed red.

Liu Ergou blinked a couple of times. A beautiful woman? A beautiful woman came looking for me in a car? Fu Ya? No, that's not right. Fu Ya rides a motorcycle, not a sedan. Who could it be then?

After pondering for a moment, Liu Ergou still had no idea, so he could only follow San Lengzi back, leaving Xu Yulan sitting there alone.

Xu Yulan watched Liu Ergou's receding figure. The moment his silhouette disappeared, a sudden fear gripped her heart, as if she was afraid he was about to be snatched away from her. The feeling left her frozen in place, completely at a loss.

Meanwhile, Liu Ergou followed San Lengzi, quickening his pace as they headed for his house.

From a distance, Liu Ergou could see the white sedan.

The moment he saw it, Liu Ergou raised an eyebrow. Isn't that Lu Shuangyue's car? She came looking for me?

With that thought, Liu Ergou sped up and walked toward the sedan. San Lengzi, however, was practically dancing with joy, his face beaming with excitement.

What in the world is he so happy about? Liu Ergou wondered, baffled. This has nothing to do with him.

While Liu Ergou was pondering this, he reached the car. Just as he approached, the car window rolled down, revealing Lu Shuangyue's delicate face.

"Shuang Yue, why did you suddenly come looking for me?" Liu Ergou asked, looking puzzled.

Seeing his expression, Lu Shuangyue smiled. "Why? Can't I come looking for you?"

Liu Ergou hurriedly shook his head. "Of course, you can! Of course! I'm just a little surprised, that's all!"

Seeing Liu Ergou's reaction, Lu Shuangyue said no more and simply opened the passenger-side door. "Come on, get in. Let's go into town to talk."

"Okay!" Liu Ergou agreed and got into the passenger seat.

All the while, San Lengzi stood beside Liu Ergou, his face full of anticipation, though it was unclear what he was waiting for.

Just as the car was about to pull away, Lu Shuangyue seemed to remember something. She leaned her head out the window and spoke to San Lengzi.

"Thank you for telling Liu Ergou I was here. Thanks a lot!"

With that, Lu Shuangyue drove away from Fengzhu Village, leaving San Lengzi standing there alone, grinning foolishly.

"Hehehe, the beautiful woman talked to me! If only I could marry a beauty like her!"

After snickering to himself for a long time, San Lengzi finally headed home.

By now, Liu Ergou and Lu Shuangyue had arrived in town. Once there, Lu Shuangyue drove straight to a hotel and deftly checked them into a room. She then led Liu Ergou inside.

What Lu Shuangyue hadn't anticipated was that as soon as Liu Ergou entered the room, he would immediately clutch the front of his shirt, adopting a guarded posture.

Seeing this, Lu Shuangyue was extremely puzzled, not understanding what Liu Ergou was doing.

However, his next words made her so angry that she kicked him.

"Shuang Yue, what are you trying to do! I'm not that kind of frivolous man! Don't you try anything funny!"

Seeing his ridiculous act, Lu Shuangyue couldn't stop herself from stepping forward and kicking him hard. "What are you thinking? Liu Ergou, be serious!
