Doctor and His Glamorous Sister-in-Law

Sitting on the ground, Lu Shuangyue shook her head vigorously, trying to clear it. She knew her current state was most likely Yuan Wenkang's doing. She had to get out of here fast, or something unpredictable would surely happen.

With that thought, Lu Shuangyue struggled to her feet and continued onward, her steps shaky. However, she had only taken a few paces when a strange sensation spread across her skin, like insects crawling all over her. She involuntarily reached out to touch herself. At her touch, a moan escaped her throat. The moment the sound escaped her lips, Lu Shuangyue seemed to realize something, and a look of terror flashed across her face.

Yuan Wenkang, who was following close behind, watched her with eyes burning with a greedy flame.

"Tsk, that little bitch Lu Shuangyue is tougher than I thought," he muttered to himself. "Any other woman would have succumbed to this drug long ago, but she can still walk. I really underestimated her. No, I can't delay any longer. If she actually gets away, it'll be hard for me to make my move."

After muttering to himself, Yuan Wenkang quickened his pace and closed in on Lu Shuangyue.

Gritting her teeth against the strange sensations coursing through her body, Lu Shuangyue forced herself to take a few more steps. But then, she heard the footsteps behind her growing closer. She realized immediately: Yuan Wenkang wasn't going to wait any longer.

Her body's condition was worsening. Now, with every step, the mere feeling of air brushing against her skin made her want to moan. At the same time, the image of Liu Ergou's muscular body unexpectedly flashed through her mind. This chain reaction was too much for her to bear, and she collapsed. As she fell, she slammed against the door of a private room with a loud THUD.

When the approaching Yuan Wenkang saw this, he was overjoyed. He knew Lu Shuangyue couldn't hold on any longer. He was finally about to get what he wanted. The mere thought of it brought a lewd smile to his face.

However, what Lu Shuangyue didn't know was that Liu Ergou was in this very hotel, clinking glasses with Cai Qiang and the others. The door she had just collapsed against was the very one to their private room.

The loud thud startled Liu Ergou in the middle of a drink. He instinctively looked up toward the door.

"Hm? Did you guys hear that thud?" Liu Ergou asked, puzzled.

Cai Qiang glanced at the door without much concern. "Eh, probably just someone who drank too much and leaned against the door," he answered casually. "Come on, Bro Ergou, let's keep drinking! We made a deal today, didn't we? No one leaves until they're drunk!"

As soon as he finished, the others cheered and resumed drinking. Although Liu Ergou was still a little confused, he didn't dwell on it after hearing Cai Qiang's explanation. He picked up a beer and chugged it in one go, earning another round of cheers from the room.

"Damn, Er Gou can drink! What a capacity!"

"Er Gou is the man! Let's go, let's go!"

As Liu Ergou watched the scene unfold, he was about to speak. But just then, a weak, yet incredibly familiar, voice reached his ears.

The moment he heard the voice, Liu Ergou shot up from his seat. He whipped his head around, his gaze fixed on the door. The others noticed his strange reaction and followed his gaze.

Cai Qiang asked cautiously, "Bro Ergou, what's wrong? Why the sudden change?"

Liu Ergou didn't answer, simply raising a finger to his lips in a shushing gesture. He tiptoed to the door and listened intently. Just then, the familiar voice came again, strained.

"Get away... Let go of me..."

Hearing that, Liu Ergou couldn't hold back any longer. That was Lu Shuangyue's voice! She had to be in some kind of trouble. Without a second's hesitation, he flung the door open.

Yuan Wenkang had just managed to haul Lu Shuangyue to her feet, draping her over his shoulder. Just as he did, Liu Ergou threw the door open, and their eyes met.

Seeing Liu Ergou, Yuan Wenkang immediately forced an apologetic smile.

"Ahem, sorry about this, friend," he said, gesturing to Lu Shuangyue beside him. "This is my girlfriend. She drank a little too much and accidentally bumped into your door. I'm really sorry! I'm taking her home to rest. We won't disturb you any further. My apologies!"

As Yuan Wenkang spoke, Cai Qiang walked over. When he got a clear look at Yuan Wenkang, a surprised expression crossed his face. He'd always considered himself rather effeminate, but he never imagined he'd meet a man even more so than himself. Every gesture and movement was so natural, it was as if he'd been born in the wrong body.

Liu Ergou, however, said nothing in response to Yuan Wenkang's explanation. He just stared at him grimly, his aura so intense it was almost suffocating.

Yuan Wenkang clearly felt it but assumed Liu Ergou was simply dissatisfied with his apology.

After a moment's thought, he added, "My friend, I'm truly sorry. Please, be the bigger man and let this go. If that's not enough, this meal is on me. My name is Yuan Wenkang. Just give the manager my name when you go downstairs. Here's my card."

Saying this, Yuan Wenkang pulled a business card from his pocket and offered it to Liu Ergou.

But Liu Ergou ignored the offered card and asked coldly, "Are you sure the person next to you is your girlfriend?"

Hearing this, Yuan Wenkang felt a sense of dread. Still, he feigned composure. "Yes, she's my girlfriend! We had a fight a couple of days ago. We just made up, so I brought her out for a meal, but she unfortunately drank a bit too much. Sorry about that, I'll take her home now!"
