Liu Ergou wasn't flustered. "Why not?" he continued. "What, am I so beneath you in your eyes?"

Cai Qiang said nothing, merely letting out a cold scoff.

That cold scoff said it all, yet Liu Ergou remained perfectly calm. "Cai Qiang, think about it carefully."

"My medical skills can bring the dead back to life. If word of that were to get out, surely you can imagine the kind of uproar it would cause?"

"If you work with me, this small town won't be your destination; it will only be your starting point."

"As for how far you'll go... that's for you to discover."

Cai Qiang was a smart man, and he understood Liu Ergou's implications immediately. He's right. If his ability to revive the dead truly became public knowledge, the resulting commotion wouldn't be a simple matter. It could very well shake the heavens and shatter the earth. And for me, at a time like this... As he thought this, Cai Qiang began to seriously consider the offer.

Though curious, the underlings didn't ask any questions and left to carry out his orders.
