DND Realms: The Rise of the Titan-Dragon Prodigy

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: The Titan Seas (Edited)

Why were so many creatures cheering for him?

Muria was genuinely puzzled. Even if he was the son of a Titan and a Golden Dragon, wasn't this reaction a bit too exaggerated?

From the edge of the castle to the edge of the island, everywhere he looked were creatures bowing down to him, densely packed, wave after wave, continuously shouting his name, showing him the highest respect.

Whether it's Golden Dragons or Titans, though both are rare and powerful creatures, are they really that rare? Is all this really necessary?

"Muria Young Master, it's time to go down?" Sofia, who had come to Muria's side at some point, whispered.

"Eh, just go down like this, don't I need to say something?" Muria raised his chubby "little" hand and scratched his head.

"No need, you just need to stand here and prove your existence to them, which is the greatest encouragement for them."

"Alright then!" Muria reluctantly walked down from the observation tower, somewhat unwilling to leave. The experience of being excitedly cheered by numerous creatures was quite pleasant. Although he was initially a bit overwhelmed, his nerves were now incredibly thick, and he easily adjusted to the grand scene.

As Muria left, the cheers of the creatures gradually ceased, and then the creatures, with excitement, discussed among themselves and gradually left, returning to their original locations...

Back in his room in the castle, Muria turned to look at Sofia, who had followed. His many doubts could be answered by this golden-haired dragonkin maid standing before him.

He could see that Sofia's status was very special, holding a high position in this castle. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been assigned to take care of him.

"What's going on?"

"Muria Young Master, do you know what the sea where we are located is called?" Instead of answering Muria's question, Sofia instead asked him.

"How would I know?" Muria twitched the corner of his mouth. Neither the inheritance of knowledge from the Golden Dragon nor the Titan had given him a comprehensive introduction to Elasia, the world he was in.

Elasia is a world with a vast area. Its main body is a continent named Elasia, surrounded by twelve continents of various sizes, which protect the main continent in the middle. These thirteen continents divide the sea, which is equal in area to the land, into fragmented pieces.

Muria didn't even know his own location, so how could he possibly know the name of the sea area where he was?

"Thunderstorm Ocean!"

"Thunderstorm Ocean?" Muria exclaimed, his knowledge inheritance from the Golden Dragon indeed included an introduction to one of the world's nine oceans, the Thunderstorm Ocean.

"That's right. This is the sea area where your father, Ansol Iapetos, from the Titan race, is located. Thus, this ocean is named after the power wielded by the Titans. It is said that before the Titans occupied this ocean, it had another name, but almost no one remembers it anymore. And this archipelago where we are located is called..."

"Titan Archipelago." Before Sofia could finish, Muria continued, having learned about this ocean from the Golden Dragon's inheritance knowledge. The ancient Golden Dragon who left knowledge related to the Thunderstorm Ocean described it as such: If not necessary, do not enter this ocean, because the consequences are hard to predict.

In the description of this knowledge, Muria saw an ancient Golden Dragon, who had the privilege to modify the dragon race's inheritance, filled with wariness towards the Thunderstorm Ocean. Regarding the core of the Thunderstorm Ocean, the Titan Archipelago, it was even considered a forbidden area.

Understanding his location, Muria suddenly realized a few things, such as why the Golden Dragon mother chose to build the castle on the edge of the archipelago rather than in the center. This place is the territory of the Titans. If not for his Titan father's relationship, the Golden Dragon mother might not have dared to come here.

"But I still don't understand, why were those creatures so excited to see me?"

"Because, in the future, you might very well accept their allegiance," Sofia said with a peculiar expression.

"What?" Muria looked bewildered.

"Muria Young Master," the golden-haired maid sighed, "You must know that for the creatures living in this ocean, the Titans are the supreme rulers here. Although the Titans themselves don't care about this, it doesn't change the fact that they are the rulers."

"Uh-huh." Muria nodded, somewhat understanding, but still had some confusion. He gestured for Sofia to continue.

"The Thunderstorm Ocean is home to countless marine tribe clans that want to offer their loyalty to the Titans, willing to follow them and become their servants. However..." Sofia paused, her expression showing a sense of helplessness, "The Titans simply do not accept their allegiance, because the Titans believe it is meaningless."

Hearing this, Muria's eyebrows furrowed. Unsure of what to say, he let Sofia continue.

"However, fifteen years ago, when we followed Artelis Elonsas to the Titan Archipelago, the Thunderstorm Ocean's creatures first heard of your existence, the child of a Titan and a Dragon. Many creatures came upon hearing the news, wanting to follow you and offer their loyalty."

"Fifteen years ago, I was still an egg, right?" Hearing Sofia's words, Muria laughed.

"That's right. At that time, your existence had not been confirmed, but just the rumors alone had a significant impact," Sofia recalled the situation at the time, and even she laughed, "When Artelis the Great first established the crystal castle, she didn't plan to make it so big or build it with magic crystals. But after arriving here, countless marine tribes offered up treasures mined from the seabed, mostly magic crystals.

Artelis the Great was stunned by the mountains of magic crystals and various treasures. That expression, I will never forget in my life." As she spoke, the maid leader herself covered her mouth and giggled, "So, Artelis the Great had the idea to build the castle with magic crystals."

"So, my mother's castle was built like this. So, a big part of the castle's construction is thanks to me. I at least own half of this castle." The young Muria naively thought.

"In the beginning, there were only a little over thirty Cloud Giants guarding the castle, and only five Storm Giants," Sofia raised her head, looking at the chubby giant infant before her.

"But now, there are over sixteen hundred Cloud Giants guarding the castle, and the number of Storm Giants is close to a hundred, and their numbers are still increasing. It can be foreseen that more Cloud Giants and Storm Giants will come here in the future, all because of your existence."

This terrifying influence made Sofia still somewhat disbelief to this day, but the fact remains. Even for a legendary golden dragon, having so many giant guards is far beyond the norm.

"Titans refused them." Muria showed a very strange expression on his face, "So, they are so sure that I, who possess Titan blood, will accept their allegiance?"

"You not only have Titan blood but also Golden Dragon blood. And dragons, especially enjoy having some servants to guard themselves, so..." Sofia stopped there, as there was no need to say more at this point.

Indeed, many dragons like to have some servants, whether they are good or evil dragons. For example, many evil dragons, especially the Chromatic Dragons, are omnivores, almost accepting anything, as long as they submit to them, even races like goblins, kobolds, and gnolls known for their weakness are accepted.

Muria sat on a crystal bed carved from fiery elemental crystals, stroking his chin in thought. He had not even been born yet, and so many powerful creatures had voluntarily come to be his minions. The thought alone made him feel extremely comfortable.

"Muria Young Master, do you plan to refuse or accept?"

Hearing Sofia's question, Muria's brows furrowed. To refuse cleanly like his father and other Titans, thinking about it, he felt a bit reluctant.

Just now, on the rooftop, receiving the worship of over a hundred Cloud Giants up close, Muria felt he was somewhat addicted to this feeling.

So, he raised his head, a smile appearing on his chubby face: "Why refuse? Of course, I choose to accept!"

Sofia nodded, her face showing a bright smile, then she walked out of the room.

Not long after, Muria heard faint cheers from outside the castle. He walked out of his room to the corridor, looking down through the transparent crystal at the scene below. He saw masses of creatures cheering and jumping for joy.

Maybe it was because the castle's soundproofing was so good, the cheers that should have been thunderous were barely audible by the time they reached Muria, making it seem like he was watching a silent film.

But even without hearing the sound, Muria could feel the excitement of those creatures. They danced and shouted, veins popping with excitement, spreading throughout the entire island. Then, the waters around the island boiled as Naga, Mermaids, Tide Giants, Sea Beasts... various marine creatures emerged from the water again, shouting, creating a magnificent and grand scene.

Muria, of course, knew the reason for all this. He looked down at his feet, outside the castle, where Sofia, the head maid who had just left his room, now stood with a fifteen-meter-tall, muscular Cloud Giant.

"Sofia, huh, a dragonkin infected with the true dragon's aura!" Muria muttered the name of the maid who had taken care of him for five years, then turned back into his room.
