"Welcome back!"

Stella greeted them at the entrance and brought them in.

She led them to a place where there was a long line of people made to stand in rows and columns with at least five meters of space between them. They were none other than the people who were rescued.

There was a black-robed woman walking among them. She was like a drill master, watching the behavior of the soldiers. She seemed to make her final stride as she was going to walk out of the line.

However, she suddenly stopped.

There was a man and a woman on opposite sides. She walked to the woman and inclined her head.

"Are you a traitor?"

"…!"

The woman shuddered greatly before she went on her knees and smashed her head on the ground.

"Please forgive me! I promise I won't do it again!"

Mingzhi's expression didn't change, "Was it for wealth?"

"…" The woman kept banging her head and didn't reply.

Mingzhi waited for two more seconds before she glanced at Stella, and Stella snapped her finger. That woman then reappeared somewhere else. She was now with twelve other people who seemed to have been suppressed by space. There were both men and women here.

Mingzhi finally walked out of the sea of people, but looking at Fenren and the others, she giggled.

"Ah, more people to check. But since you're all safe, I imagine that the mission is successfully complete?"

Fenren smirked proudly, but as he saw the thirteen people look as though they were about to be executed for becoming a traitor, he sighed.

"Do we have to kill them?"

"That's your wish."

Mingzhi raised her hand and fiddled with her fingers elegantly, "They have their own reasons to betray, some because one of their family members was held hostage, or some because they were selfish, or some because they simply believed that you were wrong for believing the Divine Emperor of Death. There are a lot of reasons, but betrayal is betrayal. I can't be bothered to punish them, so the three of you can take that role for your clans."

Fenren nodded to Mingzhi, but he couldn't help but take a look at Soaren and Andiron.

After all, these thirteen people were theirs. He still hadn't released his own people from his life ring. He handed his life ring over to Mingzhi and patted their shoulders.
