Dimensional warper

"We hope that it is to your liking." The service man said displaying the room behind him. It was classy,a thick rich air of wealth hung in the room. There was to be a personal waiter but he didn't want anyone there so the huge room was empty. There was a table for two near the windows offering a beautiful view to the city below."Thanks. We'll call you if we need anything." He said as the two got in the room. The service man understanding the situation quietly left though he did have questions. As he was walking down the halls,he wondered,'They seem rather young. But why do I care. It's not like they have that much experience.'

Ashley was taken aback by the view to which he accompanied her at the balcony overseeing the city. Even though the aesthetic feeling of a starry black night sky was lacking, the calming view of the blue sky covered with clouds was just as fair. "Okay,how did you afford any of this? Not that I see you as poor but this is a little bit too much." She inquired. "Well of course it wasn't honest but it was effective." He said mysteriously. "No! You're teasing me again!" She cried. "Just tell me Andrew,I am your girlfriend after all." He looked at her. "I'll tell you after we have something to eat."

*Boom*

A faint boom could be heard from the distance, looking in that direction saw a small unidentified humanoid figure travelling across the sky extremely fast but they were able to catch a glimpse of it. "Mmmh." Andrew heard her disgruntled. "I'm sure you'll get it. But don't focus too much on that and let's eat." He said as he guided her to her chair. After he took his seat,the two made their order, something light as they had recently had breakfast. "Are you going to tell me now?" As soon as they were done,she asked. 'There's no need to hoard it because she'll just keep on asking.' He thought.

"Do you remember that kid whose family for some unknown reason,his family died mysteriously and he landed a full establishment in the hospital? An incident that occurred before the retreat." He asked leaning back in his chair. 'Comfortable.' "I remember. Wait! It was you who was behind that!!" He donned a guilty smile. "Yeah." She was startled. "How did you do that and get the money?" Enjoying the lavishness of his chair,he responded,"Well where do you think I got the money from? And as for how I did that, let's just say that I had these skills much earlier than you think."

"What!! But how?" An intrigued look emerged. "As for why or how I got them early than everyone else is something that even I don't know but I'm not the only one. The female cop that was at the cabin also had an ability of her own. We were just lucky it wasn't something that could help her in cracking the case." He said as he got out of the luxury of the chair. "I do apologize for not telling you sooner however I just couldn't tell everyone I met." He finished off. She understood the same so she focused on something else. "Are you sure I'll get one because it doesn't feel like it."

He looked passionately in her eyes,"Tell me,do you feel anything weird or off with yourself?" She paused before responding. "No. Just a vague feeling of going to the beach. But that could be because it has been some time since I was last there." He put on a smile,"Well then, let's go." She halted the idea. "Isn't it dangerous to go to the beaches? After all a huge number of beasts seem to come from there." He stood up and went to her chair, standing behind it. "I'll be there,okay. And you shouldn't doubt my skills. I've been perfecting them for a long time."

He then pulled back her chair backwards, giving her room for movement out of the chair. "As for the money,I may have accessed their accounts. But I certain that's it's fine." She looked at him. 'So not only did you have these abilities from earlier but also a good hacker.' She was now curious to know what else he knew. As they left,he ordered at the intercom for his car to be readied. "Thank you for your visit. Hope you'll be back soon." The service man said warmly as they were exiting. "But I don't have the proper clothes for the beach."

"We'll check it out,if it related to your ability then it shouldn't take us that long and if not,then we'll go sight seeing." He reassured her. The car was pulled upfront to which they zoomed off. 'What a pair of brats! They treated me as if I was air. Honestly I hope they crash out in an accident.' The service man thought seeing the car drive off. Not only was he dismissed but also unappreciated.

Andrew and Ashley were headed towards the beach cruising through the highway. With most of the funds directed at other sectors,so other sectors were neglected such as the infrastructural sector as the traffic officers. As the scenery started to shift from the concrete jungle to the beach shore,an unexpected problem presented itself. They would have accessed the beach if not for one thing. The entire place was warded off by military personnel strictly with a heavy air of security. Before they got any closer,they heard a voice coming from a speaker implanted not far off from the post.

"IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU RETURN BACK TO THE CITY!! THE BEACH IS OFF LIMITS!!!" The voice boomed with a thick voice laced with authority. Andrew stopped. "Even though if it's to ensure the safety of the people,this is a little overboard!" He groaned in frustration. "We don't have to do this Andrew." Ashley said slightly irritated herself. "If I did something stupid, probably get me killed, would you stop me?" He asked in a oddly calm voice. "If it would separate from me then I'd cut your legs off for that." She joked. "And of it didn't?" He asked. "At that point,to hell with the world." She said.

*Screech*

Andrew did a burnout making the car do a 180 degree turn making them dart back to the city but from his questions earlier, Ashley thought that he was about to do something stupid. "Phew." She said underneath her breathe. 'I actually thought that he was going to forcefully charge in there.' She thought.

*Screech*

Andrew did another turn now facing in the direction of the beach. "Do you have a mask or anything that can cover your face?" He asked. Worried about his next action,she asked,"Andrew,what do you plan on doing? Don't actually tell me you're actually planning on breaching the site!!"

"Just roll up your windows, Ashley,buckle in cause this might get hectic." He then put the gear in full throttle charging forward. "Andrew,you don't have to do this!!" Ashley tried to reason with him. "If it is related to your ability then don't you think we should take a look. After all who knows how long this window will last. If we don't do this now,then when is my question. Besides, I'm here for you." Ashley wanted to refute his actions but seeing that he was committed to it,she decided to go along with it. "Just don't get us killed. And stay in one peace."

She said grabbing his free right hand. "We're going to have to ditch this car after this. I'll replace it. This is going to be all over the news. Some idiots breaking into a blacksite! Hilarious along with the attention but there is no turning back." He said as he increased his speed further till he was going at 250mph and still rising. Once again the voice boomed again,"IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU RETURN BACK TO THE CITY!! THE BEACH IS OFF LIMITS!!!" But the car was still headed towards the beach with no signs of stopping."IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU RETURN BACK TO THE CITY!! THE BEACH IS OFF LIMITS!!! ANY HESITATION TO ENACT THIS ORDER WILL RESULT TO HOSTILE TREATMENT!!!"

Suddenly Ashley turned on the radio. "It's gonna get real loud so why not?!" She said with a joking atmosphere around here but he could feel the fear as her grip tightened around his arm. They started to get closer to the beach and they started to see what seemed like a checkout which was heavily guarded."IN FAILURE TO HEEDING THE WARNING, EXTREME MEASURES WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST YOU!!!" "What are they gonna do? Shoot us?" She said with a laugh but he gravely said,"They just might looking at their actions!"The army that was present aimed their rifles at the oncoming blue supercar headed straight for them.

*Bang-Bang-Bang*

The soldiers did not hesitate to shoot however they didn't shoot them rather they intentionally shot where the car was and shooting some parts.

*Clang*

"They just shot the side mirror off!" She exclaimed as Andrew felt her heartbeat increase. "Calm down Ashley! Try to calm down and focus on my heartbeat." He said as he redirected her hand to his chest. He could feel her heart pounding as she never thought that she would be placed in such a scenario. 'The army? This life.' She thought however she noticed how calm his heartbeat was compared to hers. It wasn't as if armed military personnel weren't shooting at him driving at 275mph. "How are you so calm in a situation like this?" He had a smile on his face. "Because I've experienced worse than this and during those instances,I knew getting frightened is something that will only slow me down."

"What do you mean worse?! What's worse than this?!!" She asked but before her answer was delivered, there was only silence from Andrew. But that is when she realized that it was too quiet,the soldiers weren't shooting at them anymore. "Now this is where things get interesting. Ashley,just focus on the song and close your eyes." She looked at the soldiers who now since that they were closer realized that they were now aiming at them. The premature shots were just to scare them and these were the real shots. Andrew could feel the tension and power with her grip. "Just close your eyes and leave the rest to me." He reassured her.

*Bang-Bang-Bang*

The soldiers were now shooting at the windscreen making Ashley subconsciously close her eyes but Andrew kept charging in. The bullets could hardly come close before they were deflected away from the car. As for the side mirror, Andrew made them drop their guard to make them think that it was just some rich psychopath with a death wish. No matter how much they shot,the bullets would just stop right in front of the car then fall to the ground leaving the car untouched. The soldiers realizing that they were dealing with a gifted,they immediately stopped firing making Ashley open her eyes.

The sound of bullets shot and whizzing through the air was gone again but this time,she saw the bullets right in front of her before they fell to the ground. "You can stop a bullet!!" She was shocked but still elevated that they were fine. As they got to the checkout,the spike traps that had been laid out were instantly thrown away by his skill along with the barricades. Heavy infantry cars and two tanks were thrown high into the sky making the sight seem unrealistic as a body weighing tonnes thrown into the air like a kid toy was coming off as amusing.

"I thought this was restricted space,why is there a news chopper on our ass,it's not like we broke into a bank for God's sake!!" It was with that that they knew that they were about to be the talk of the town. Andrew was trying his best to not skid around all over the sand as the traction wasn't as good. Another chopper seemed to appear out of the sky and a quick glance at it,it was reasonable to say that it was hostile judging from what it did. "Andrew!!! We have a fucking missile coming our way!!!"
