Dimensional warper

"Gather up students,today we will be going on a hiking through Delmar Forest!!" A sharp and energetic voice rang to all gathered up in the form of a parade. "And Stellar Balfour is required to make her appearance to the counsellor's cabin?" Some of the students started to speculate on her dissappearance. "Maybe she's missing?" Said one. "Maybe she's dead rotting somewhere else?" Said another. "I assure you that she is perfectly fine students and now let the hiking being."

"To keep a closer eye and avoid any more sudden dissappearances, every student will be required to at least be in a group with a minimum of three or higher." Grace declared as they all quickly fell into place however there was a group with two. "If you have already identified your group,let us now proceed." Grace declared as she along with Damon started to venture deeper into the forest. The one left behind would be Henford. Looking at the party that was short of numbers was his daughter along with the person he wanted dead.

He went to the said group to finally get a good look on his target. He seemed out of place but the deadly atmosphere around him was suffocating. He and Andrew exchanged glances as the two seemed to be locked in a deadly stare before Ashley noticing the cold atmosphere looming over the two decided to break the ice. "Andrew,I'd like you to meet my dad." She said gesturing towards her father. "Nice to meet you Mr.Henford." He said blandly stretching out his hand. Henford simply beamed down assessed Andrew but he remained adamant in showing any expression.

"It's nice to meet the gentleman who piqued my daughter." He said accepting Andrew's hand and the two shook hands but Andrew noticed that Henford's grip was getting stronger. The moment lasted for a while before Ashley intervened ,"Well since you two have met,can we proceed." She said as she noticed the two were still locked in their handshake. Henford finally let go of his hand, Andrew formed a fist tightly crushing it before letting go stretching his fingers.

*Crack*

The sound of cracking bones could be heard as he formed his fist ,"You have a strong grip,Mr.Henford." He said looking at the gentleman in front of him. "Well what an impressive perseverance you have kid." Henford said noticing that Andrew seemed unaffected with his action. "Since it would seem that you have no one else to join your party, you'll have to remain here at camp and wait for the rest to finish their hike. It could be plenty of time for the both of us to know more about each other." Henford said with a rigid smile looking at Andrew who reciprocated it with a small smile.

"I saw you guys that you lacked a third member so I'm here to join in. Hoping that you'll take me." A voice came from the side which the other groups went. Looking at the source of the voice,it was Revera with a bright smile on her face. "Sure thing Revera." Ashley said hurriedly hoping to separate the two. "Let's go Andrew." Ashley said tugging his arm. Henford drew closer to Andrew and whispered a couple of words in his ear before allowing him to go. Ashley happy that Andrew was far off from her father,she looked at Revera ,"What happened to your group? I heard you're very popular in your class so forming a group shouldn't too hard for you." Revera said as the trio walked along the makeshift path that was present. It seemed that it had been around for quite some time.

"Well I didn't want a student to be left out from a fun activity so I took it upon myself to lend a helping hand. That's all." As she gave a small chuckle. Ashley was pleased but looking at Revera,she was popular not only because of her position but also her looks. She then looked at Andrew who was absorbed on the path and drew closer to him locking her arm with his to which he reciprocated.

*Five minutes later*

The other groups came into view not far off from where they were. Revera said , "Were not that far off from the rest." Looking at the two behind her ,"I didn't know that the two of you were so close to each other." She said jokingly to which neither reacted to her comment. One uncaring and the other skeptical but they finally caught up with the rest of the group. "Do you think that you could switch with someone else? No offense." Andrew said as they were being led through the tour. It wasn't that he was ruthless but Revera was drawing more eyes than he was comfortable with.

"Oh! Why? Did I upset you in any way?" She asked innocently. "No. It's just that way too many people are staring right now." He said honestly looking at the crowd in front of him. For Ashley,she didn't mind the eyes. "Well I wish I could do that but I doubt that anyone would join your group seeing how low your appeal to others is. No offense." She said with a smile. "Non taken but you can leave, neither of us mind. After all I can tell that you are bored with our company." Ashley genuinely didn't mind with her departure. "Feel free to leave." She said coldly.

At first she was a little afraid that Andrew would be attracted to her but seeing that he took the initiative to drive her off,then it would seem that she was wrong. Revera understanding the situation thanked the two before being swallowed up by the crowd up front. "Do you have a genuine reason for driving her off?" She asked due to her curiousity. "No! I just don't handle attention well." Andrew said as they kept on walking along the trail. The two seemed unbothered as if living within their own world as they progressed with the tour. As they ventured further,the group came up a waterfall to which Grace elaborated a stream from where the lake passed through.

The students took photos to their content as they made their first break having a picnic. They had carried their meal in their backpacks and fully enjoyed their meals. "Let's move on,we still have more to cover." Damon said in his authoritative voice getting a mixture reactions from the students. Some were excited while others simply groaned with distaste. "Wait! I just realized that we've never had a picture together." Ashley said as they paused at the waterfall. "I guess we've never had. You want to take it here." Ashley looked around. "Sure. After all,I want a memento to remember you by after my father kills you."

"How touching." He said blandly. She fished her phone out of her pocket and was ready to take a selfie before she noticed something ,"Can you at least smile for the camera?" She said. "What do you mean? I'm smiling." He said as a flat smile appeared on his face. "I've never seen you happy. It all looked staged or you were forcing it." He looked at her ,"Fine, I'll smile for a few with it being a kiss." She paused for a minute. "You said you'd never tease me." He grabbed bringing her closer ,"You can take it or leave it." His face barely an inch away from hers. "Fine." She succumbed to which she lost herself within his embrace.

Her lips luscious and tender as he tenderly kissed her. She drew back ,"Let's not complicate matters yet. We're outside after all." She then took the picture to which as promised,he gave a genuine smile with both their arms wrapping around their necks as the colourful waterfall in the background further added the moxxie of romance in the air. "We have to go or we'll be left behind." The two walked close next to each other as they went along with the tour. As they made their way viewing all the breathtaking landscapes,they were briefed on the existence of wild animals present in the woods such as bears and wolves.

"Maybe she was eaten by a wolf?" A speculation rose from the group. "Wolves are located way up further into the highlands taking a couple of days." Ashley told Andrew. "However bears are located much closer and at times there have been attacks though Grace won't say that." She further added. "What will happen if she's still not found by the end of the day?" Brad asked. As her boyfriend,he was the most concerned. "The police have already been involved in this case as Mr.Henford had failed to locate her so it's safe to say that she may be lost within the woods." Damon said.

The sun was starting to make it's descent. "We'll head back now should we want to make it back in time." Grace said and they started to head back. "Do you think that they'll find her?" Ashley asked. "Depends on the police. If they are actually good at what they're doing and find her body,it would be difficult for them to link it back to us." He said. "And I'll make sure that you're fine, Ashley." He said giving her a small kiss on her head.

*Shutter*

The two looked at the source to notice some student had taken a picture of the incident. He genuinely didn't care but judging from Ashley's expression,she was affected. "Get rid of that photo right now!Vinnie!!!" She ordered fuming with rage. "A loser and a freak making out. To think I'd see the day! Hahaha!!!" He laughed as he jokingly waved his phone tauntingly. "Delete that photo Vinnie or things won't end good for you." He said but it was more calm compared to Ashley. "I think not. I think I should let this relationship flourish by announcing it to the world." 

He said as he mingled with the crowd and put of Ashley's sight. "Ugh! I can't believe that deadbeat actually did that. I'll kill him." She said to which he intervened ,"No need to stress yourself. Let's make a bet. Not only will I get rid of that photo but also kill him before by tomorrow." He said with a small sadistic laugh. Ashley looked at him. "What's at stake?" Andrew replied ,"Not much. If I fail then I'll kill myself but if I win then I want something from you." Ashley blushed a little. "What exactly?" She inquired. "Something only you can offer me." As he wrapped his arm around her waist. She blushed further before saying in a low voice. "Fine. But you don't have to push yourself with killing yourself."

"You shouldn't doubt me with my skills." He said as they finally arrived at the cabins. The sun had yet to fully set with some of it's orange rays still skirmishing all over the place painting the sky in a combination of red and an orange hue. However what took them all by surprise was the presence of the police officers. They were two of them,male and female,in uniform of green. They had a huge greyhound lying in wait and to their feet was a tarped humanoid figure. They found Stellar's body in a cave of bears but luckily they were out. Her limbs had been chewed off with a completely grotesque act had been done to her."

"Her clothes were found on a cliff way above the cave indicating that she may have taken them off before jumping off as indicated by the bruises on her body. Her family has already been notified of her death." Henford said solemnly as the place was overcomed with great silence. Her parents arrived shortly after to pick up her body. "From this incident,the retreat will be forced to end sooner than anticipated coming to a close tommorow instead of the day after tomorrow. All of your parents have been notified and will pick you up tomorrow."

After done with supper, Ashley found Andrew waiting for her at the grand lake as he had texted her to find him. "You've got questions I'm sure to which I'm all ears." With the first one on her mind,she yelled at him. "I thought you'd get rid of the clothes! Not leave them there for them to find it." He looked at the calm surface of the water before looking at her. "Well..."
