They saw Nigel sky high thrown off the arena in a comical manner with the body crashing right at Luke's feet. Luke looked down at Nigel who was still conscious and looked at him with resentment glowing in his eyes however Luke overlooked this and looked at Elspeth who made her way to him. She stepped over his body before Luke congratulated her ,"You won, congratulations but I'm so sorry I missed the fight." She leaned in for a small kiss before the two parted "Just wanted to make you proud." Scott interjected ,"And engagement of sexual activities on school grounds is forbidden. Even kissing."

'So they did see it.' Luke knew the teachers were prying back then but he gave them all a show to get them off his radar for sometime. "Understood." Luke and Elspeth said looking at Scott before they started heading for their class leaving Nigel sprawled on the ground. "You should get him checked out." Luke said indicating at Nigel who lay on the ground,ignored by all gritting his teeth as it turned out that they were right,she won and he lost with not that much difficulty. School was still on till the day was over so the two wasted the rest of the day away in the library.

Elspeth had some catching up to do while Luke looked at some spells he could use during the test unbeknownst to what was occuring in the teacher's lounge. "The fact that he's well acquainted with Aldritch makes things rather complicated." Lawrence said sipping on his brew. "I'm rather curious on what he'll get." Vanessa said looking into the distance. "I guess that explains his and her monstrous growth. Will it even be fair at this point?" Scott asked to which his question went unanswered. Shortly after Regald made his appearance ,"Good afternoon. It would seem that most of these bratty nobles took the matter of being outshone by a girl with no background too seriously."

He took in a small breathe ,"So we have to change this year's test a little bit. We'll have to postpone the spar competition for another test to commence to give the noble students time to catch up cause if it goes on like this,then Elspeth will come in second place in overall shadowing the royal family." The three understood what he meant. It would be most certainly ridiculing of the princess was beaten by a nobody in the test and not just her,even the rest of the stuck up noble students placing the principal in a tough situation so they had to tip the game a little bit. It was immoral but they didn't have time to consider what they did was moral or not, or they would have to face a lot of nobles and possibly the king for this.

"The test will be modified this year." Luke told Elspeth as they were heading towards the assembly. "Why? This has never happened in the history of the academy." Luke looked at her as they took their seats ,"Because also in the history of the academy there has never been a girl who surfaced out of nowhere and outshone everyone." Elspeth understanding what he meant was a little disheartened ,"Just because I beat them,they do something like this. At this rate,they might as well coordinate an assassin attack towards me." She said looking at the rest of the students in disgust. "They would highly refrain from doing something like that because fo the repercussions but that wouldn't mean that they wouldn't."

Shortly after Regald made his appearance taking everyone by surprise as he rarely made public appearances. He had an aura of profound knowledge around his as his face was covered in white sideburns,grey hair and well adorned clothes fitting his caliber. He couldn't showcase his SSS rank aura so he had to withdraw it unless he was trying to kill his students which would happen in matter of seconds. He scanned the crowd before his ebony black eyes rested on Luke and Elspeth. "I'm very aware that many of you are unaware of why I summoned this assembly. The reason why is due to the Tausburn test,it will undergo a slight change but your parents were well briefed of this."

Well this certainly took most by surprise before he resumed ,"The new test added will be reflection of your tracing and tracking down treasures in a form of treasure hunting." As Luke continued to listen,he deduced. 'At least this time,they aren't trying to hide the advantage the noble kids get.' Cause listening to this made him realize how desperate the opposition wanted to see Elspeth fail whilst maintaining their prestige. The test involved hunting for treasures in the Erebreth Tropical Jungle. Compared to the forest from earlier,this one was more feared and revered to all,from humans to elves and dwarfs.

In other words,the students will be doing close to minimal work since the amount of loopholes was too much. It was a test not solely focusing on a student,rather their background making it a huge disadvantage to the lower social class and middle so they were excluded from it reserved for the elites of the society. 'They want to see how good my relationship with,well myself is. Because there are higher chances that they would cut off my connections to hero or assassination guilds so I would have to result in needing help from Aldritch.' But this aspect didn't bother him,rather it elated him as it would be a good opportunity to get rid of some unwanted students in class. " That would be all and remember this,each student is meant to go about this alone with no help from other students whatsoever." Regald said as he left the stand.

'Absolutely shameless.' He understood the principal would never actively do something like this,rather someone else was forcing his hand and it was probably the king for this one. With the test starting tomorrow and run for three days,the students left to prepare for it.

"I have faith in you Elspeth but to achieve something great, you're going to need a little help." Luke said as they admired the roses in their garden. "I'm more than confident in my skills." She said before sipping her tea ever so slightly. "I mean your security. Since these fuckers have probably cut off any connections between me and any guilds expecting me to receive help from Aldritch, that's where we'll get our support from." He manifested two small puppets using his own blood before it turned black forming a humanoid shape their size wearing assassin clothing. One of them wore a blank mask while the other wore the Troll Devil's mask similar to forest earlier confronting Bruce.

"The one with the blank mask will protect you during your expedition. You can give it commands and it will execute them flawlessly. As for the hunting part, I'm sure that part shouldn't be too hard for you." He commented looking at the beautiful landscape. "It won't pose any problem. But you don't need any protection." Luke cast an amused look at her ,"No,I don't but I can't do anything I want portraying as Luke. He has limits but my other alias doesn't." Now understanding why she sank deeper into her seat as a maid served them before leaving. "Do you have any personal goals Elspeth?"

She was a little startled but she responded ,"At first,I only hoped for the best completely oblivious to the world's plans but now it's serving you." Luke gave a small hum. "How about you?" She shot back. "Just one. Finding someone close to me." Not wanting to push her boundaries she went back to residing in her chair with Luke as the sun was setting.

Everyone was amped up for this new test, majorly the aristocratic nobles. Seeing a chance to humiliate Elspeth,they certainly didn't hold back and weirdly the last ones to arrive were Luke and Elspeth. The venue was right outside the jungle absolutely flocked with students and adventurers alike. They all had potent auras eminating form them brimming with power making Luke and Elspeth look out of place because they had no company. Many students couldn't help but sneer at the two but they couldn't care less. Regald made his commentary briefing the students on the regulations and objectives of the hunt. "Good luck." He concluded.

Unlike earlier,this jungle was too vast for the teachers to be monitored by any teachers and too dangerous as there were other creatures that even they had to raise their caution up. The hunt was started right away and the two couldn't progress till their security arrived so they waited for it on Luke's wish that is. "Maybe if you ask politely and apologize,I may lend you some of my men." Carl snorted looking at Elspeth. She ignored him waiting ever so patiently with Luke. Seeing this response he could leave the premises. "I could lend you some of my men if you'd like Luke." Ciara said in a soft voice. "Appreciated but I'll be fine." "No need to help him Ciara, it's clear that his ego won't allow it. Now let's go." Elaine remarked.

Luke speculated before saying ,"Apparently Aldritch said that one of his men had a person of interest. Being Bruce Goldeneye. Should a conflict arise between the two,just know I don't have the power to stop him." He lifted his hands before looking to the sides. Bruce who seemed passive interjected ,"Should you have conspired with Aldritch to have the royal family dead,the consequences will be severe." Luke looked straight in Bruce's eyes ,"Why conspire if he can kill everyone himself in a matter of seconds? Besides,they take orders from Aldritch not me,so I won't be able to stop them as their objective is safeguarding our lives." He retracted his gaze as he felt a faint aura coming from Bruce. 'He's trying to suppress me.' He only smirked before he commented ,"It seems your senses are sloppy Bruce which result in your death." Not certain what he meant he said gesturing at Bruce.

"They're right behind you." Everyone looking to the sides saw two hooded individuals. Both in black,one with a blank white mask while the other had a frowning mask to his face. He carried the Edged Void,Luke decided to name the sword that clearly attracting a lot of attention with it. Spatial weapons were hard to make as they were majorly used for escape talismans and few people had mastered the element to great heights and were known throughout the lands. But to weaponize such an element was yet to be realized. 'How long have they been standing there?' Not just Bruce but everyone thought so. The principal assessed the two before realizing that they had no overbearing aura around them for he too had failed to sense them obvious with the small frown on his crumpled face.

Most students brought a huge asset of mercenaries, assassins and adventurers to provide their safety while Luke and Elspeth only had one person to safeguard them. The Troll Devil looked Bruce  ,"I gave you a clear warning last time. Try to keep your head this time." The other who had alluring features and a sleek well held black hair accompanied Elspeth into the forest by using shadows making them disappearing on the spot while Luke said looking at Ciara ,"Thanks for asking." The Troll Devil appeared behind him before teleporting into the forest leaving all startled. "This is bad. Should we cancel the test?" Scott urged. "Because if the Troll Devil goes on a rampage, who's going to stop him.''

"It's too late to stop it. We just have to hope for the best for now." Regald said before disappearing on the spot. "It's what these bratty nobles wanted. Should this backfire on them,then it's their problem not ours." Vanessa said as she left then finally Scott. "What a year?" He muttered under his breathe before leaving.
