She wanted to oppose such an idea but due to her lower echelon class,she could only withstand the injustice done to her. Gritting her teeth she took a step forward while Carl prepared to fight as he branded his short golden B rank daggers. Watching the fight unfold Luke continued to watch with caution as the trio fought the wolves. They could have pulled it off if they had better coordination and a better leader who wasn't yelling at them criticizing their flaws. "We can't pull this off." Jasper said to which Carl was forced to agree.

Carl looked at Elspeth and ordered her ,"We'll have to split up. Jasper and I we'll head this way while you go that way. After five minutes, we'll regroup and recuperate." If the three really decided to split up,she would face the bitter end of the bargain as she would be alone and more vulnerable making the majority pack of wolves go for her first before heading for the duo. Before she could voice in her opinion, Jasper created a small mana explosion to startle the wolves senses just long enough to gain a little bit of distance away form them. Elspeth tried to make a run for it but she found herself cornered by the pack. Unlike the two duo,her social class wasn't lucky enough to be gifted such a trinket like the middle and higher class.

Still spectating Luke wanted to know how the girl would face the threat or at least buy time before she was devoured by the pack. Some of the wolves seemed to lose interest in her and chased the duo as they were much of a bigger prey than one person and soon she was left with three wolves snarling their teeth ready to tear her to shreds.

She conjured up a blue fireball and threw it at the wolves trying to deter the wolves but they remained unfazed and slowly made their approach. Three B rank wolves completely unscathed from her attack heading straight for her and she found herself cornered. With the wolf in the middle trying attacking from above took her by surprise and she utilised a life saving talisman she had on her. It was a C rank barrier talisman which she was gifted by her mother to protect her incase of dire circumstances. The pouncing wolf hit the barrier with a loud thud before attacking it along with the two other wolves.

Though the barrier wouldn't last long,she had to hold on a little longer. Despite her best attempts to keep it up reinforcing the barrier with mana patterns and arrays to strengthen it,it couldn't last long under the overwhelming power of the relentless wolves.

*Smash*

The barrier shattered but what happened next was rather baffling to her,the wolves halted their advances and fled the scene in a hurry. Wolves were excellent hunters as they had well coordinated attacks,move in groups and were extremely ruthless and relentless so seeing them suddenly leave could only mean that a larger predator was en route heading straight for them. They didn't go far before they were poached down by a big silk black A rank panther. 'Why is such a formidable monster doing all the way out here.' Elspeth thought but this didn't last long as after taking down the three wolves,the panther noticed her and made it's move. She couldn't outrun it since she was already exhausted from fending off the wolves and she unconsciously started walking backwards till she hit a huge boulder.

Hunger evident in the creature's eyes as it scanned it's prey with saliva dripping from it's teeth. It's formidable aura of A rank causing a suffocating effect to her and she fell on the ground as she saw the creature close to her. The creature looked at her as she wormed on the ground and got it's teeth close to her face and she closed her eyes hoping that it would be over. "It won't bite." She heard a voice coming from behind the panther and taking a closer look,she saw someone she hadn't anticipated,Luke Yashmoore. The panther retracted it's golden hunter eyes off of her and diminished it's aura before heading back to Luke where it lay on the ground and Luke sat on it.

Naturally beasts were hard to train, especially wild ones. Most would have to be trained as they were brought up and training a fully grown creature was considered an arduous task, especially if it preyed on humans so seeing Luke pet the panther beneath him was definitely a shock. They had been here for three and a half hours, barely any time to train the creature so she naturally had questions but knowing who he was,she kept them to herself. "How much points do you have Elspeth?" He inquired with a small smile plastered on his face. "How do you know my name?" She asked but he brushed it off ,"I'm a noble and information to acquire is relatively easy,so how much?" He pressed on.

She paused for a second before she replied ,"About 2850 points." He tilted his head in dismay ,"That's rather low. How about this,we band together and split the benefits." Elspeth looked at him and wondered ,"How much do you have?" Luke replied ,"12980 points, though I plan on hunting a A rank." Her face froze in shock ,"You have 12980 points, that's more than enough to win the test. But if you have accumulated so much alone,why would you want to join forces with me?" She inquired in a low tone. Luke gave a small chuckle before he got off the panther and approached her. He got close enough till he pinned her on the wall with a few inches separating the two. She was a little nervous but she did admire his handsome visage,calm eyes and sharp features. "Because I want you to work for me as my maid."

She was breathing rapidly with her breathes brushing off of Luke's face. "Shocked why? You'll see eventually. It will be worth it and if you ever feel like changing your mind,you could quit. Feel free to throw any requirements if you'd like. Now,do you accept or not?" He asked as he got even closer to her face with his body pressing against hers on the boulder. She was fluttering clearly taken aback by what she was offered. She was  from a lower class and naturally such an opportunity would be beneficial to her and seeing the requirements,it favoured her greatly. She would help her ailing mother and boost her family freeing them from the impoverished background she grew up in. Before she responded,Luke giving her a little tease pressed forward and gave her a kiss as he hugged her.

Her face was flushed with her cheeks red from blushing as Luke admired her grey hair before looking her in the eyes. 'Pale green eyes.' He noted then gave her a little space to breathe. Finally breathing properly she gasped for air before she made up her mind. "As you are giving me room to set up requirements, I'll accept your offer. My requirement will be that you first help my ailing mother." Luke gave a smirk before he laughed off ,"Fine, you'll be accommodated at my home after today and switch your classes to mine." She wanted to put a stop to it but seeing his warm smile,she buried the thought. "And if you ever have anything on your mind. Do not hesitate to tell me. I'm fine to opinions and suggestions from others."

"You really don't have to do all that. Helping my mother would suffice and with the pay that I would be getting would be enough to support her." He chuckled as he headed back to the panther before he sat on it and replied ,"I don't have to but consider it an act of kindness. That and I despise seeing my subordinates undergo hardships. So come on." He ushered her a space on the panther which was capable of handling four people at once. She hesitated before she got on and felt the smooth fur of the beast and admired it. "So soft. How and when did you tame it and accumulate so many points?"

"I tamed it with the help of a rare artifact given as a gift from a close of mine. As for my points, you've seen my rank and skills,right?" He stated as he looked at Elspeth who sat infront of her carefully holding onto the panther which scouted the forest with incredible pace but not too fast for her to handle. They came across many monsters which the help of Luke, Elspeth was able to acquire more points faster than she anticipated. "9450 points should be more than enough. Thank you Luke." She said as she was resting. Compared to the three,she ran out of energy the fastest but she tried hee best expanding her limits.

"Well,we still have to take down a A rank beast so we're not done. Take your time resting as it will be the last thing we do." Luke said as he watched her snack down on some meat he had prepared. "Do you want some? You haven't eaten anything since we began." She asked in a considerate tone but he shook his head.

'Time to check the statistics.'

Elspeth who was cleaning herself up responded ,"Yes Luke,how may be of service to you." 'At least she's playing the part.' "Can you come here for a second." She rubbed off any bits of food she may have had on her dress and stood right infront of Luke who was seated. He applied a little bit of pressure making her kneel infront of him making the scene Rather obscene.

He cut his palm with his zirconium sword making a small cut and then ordering her to open her mouth. She was baffled with what he was doing till he told her to close her mouth.

Directly increasing her rank would have been easier but to avoid delivering everything to her on a silver platter,he made such changes. 'With such changes,she should have the status of a heroine.' He could increase one's luck if he wanted due to his carriage overwrite skill but since he was directly cursed,he couldn't increase his own only nullify it with Fanfiction though it was still there if one was to check and it was constantly increasing. "How do you feel?" He asked softly caressing her left cheek with his right hand. "I feel as if I could break into B rank right now. Wait?! When did I break into upper C rank?!"

"During the process. I expect big things from you Elspeth as my servant. So don't let me down." She still couldn't fathom what Luke had done to her but feeling this new profound strength in her,she felt she could easily overcome any obstacle that came her way. "And since I have you here,I want to see how good your endurance is when getting intimate as this will be one of your priorities." He gave a small chuckle. Elspeth blushed and considering this as an opportunity to pay back his generosity,she resigned to it. "But why me? I'm not that beautiful compared to Ciara."

"Dear, you may not realize this but when you see it from my perspective, you'll naturally get tired with the glamour of over the top and find interest elsewhere. Now, let's see how much you can handle." He said as his hands started to explore her curvaceous body and the two shortly fell into a series of episodes succumbing to their carnal desires getting lost in the heat till they were satisfied.
