Dimensional Library Of Taboo Techniques!

Chapter 57: : Tomb Of a Taboo God [6]

"Step away from my friend," was what Xuan said to Chen Fang.

Han Bai was his De Bruney; if he hadn't deceived them into that tomb, Xuan wouldn't be holding this much power he felt right now.

While Xue Ming was still inside the tomb sleeping, she had done well. "Damn," Han coughed out, clearly feeling the spiritual energy coming from Xuan.

Right now, it seemed to be Divine Combustion stage three, but no—for Han Bai, who could tell the difference—this was the final stage of Divine Combustion.

"Wait a minute, you—" Chen Fang had trouble saying what he wanted. "How did you? Did you cultivate with Xue Ming? The emperor's daughter?"

As they were busy staring at each other, a man adorned in a white robe began floating down the tomb through the hole that led here.

His long white hair stretched down the back of his robe, and there were three pieces of white crystal circling on top of his head.

Looking closer, Xuan also saw a white tail that resembled that of a lion. "A banished cultivator," said Han Bai.

"Take Xue Ming and get out of here," Xuan quickly said, not moving his eyes from the man.

There were dual cultivators, alchemists, and banished cultivators.

These ones practiced the dual cultivation techniques of a demon. Instead of just releasing yin to a female, they released it and, after it had settled inside her, collected it back.

As deadly as it was, it came with great strength and consequences. The woman died. It was these types of cultivators that killed Chen Fang's mother.

"A banished cultivator?" Chen muttered. He knew them too well. Let's say the hate he had for dual cultivators was like the amount of water in a tank.

While the one he had for banished cultivators was like that of an ocean.

On top of the reasons they were banished for practicing the technique, they could also absorb the yin of a male cultivator.

But not through sex; instead, by digging their fangs right through the heart. And with more of the demonic ways, their bodies would slowly develop into part human and part demon.

For every cultivation technique used, there were always consequences, including the taboo techniques.

"Hmm, now you're also giving off an interesting spirit energy," the demon cultivator said, his eyes falling on Chen Fang, who was pissed.

"Today must be my lucky day. Divine Combustion stage two and final stage of Divine Combustion. On top of that, the treasure of a taboo god, ha—"

Boom.

Before he could finish the words, a big punch landed on his cheek, sending him crashing into the broken wall.

"Get Xue Ming out, now."

This time Han Bai heard that. Xuan was far from having a friendly voice, so he quickly did what he was told and managed to leap inside the tomb from where Xuan had burst out.

"Chen Fang!" Su Ninger and the rest were confused about what to do. Obviously, if they stayed to fight a Heaven stage two demon cultivator, they would all die.

"Go," so Chen Fang did what was needed. And the demon cultivator he had punched earlier was starting to recover.

At the same time, Han Bai jumped down with the sleeping Xue Ming in his arms. "Hey, um, Xuan, if you get the chance, could you grab a few treasures?" he said, but Xuan was just staring at him.

"Come on everyone, I found the exit," yelled one of the alchemist students. Han Bai frowned. After finding the treasure, this happened.

"No way would I fight alongside you, so we're gonna have to take turns," Chen Fang stepped forward, pulling his robe. He was almost as mesomorphic as Xuan.

In that same moment, lunging at them, Chen boosted himself up with the amount of spiritual energy that sent the surrounding gold flying around.

Close range with the demon, they punched their fists, resulting in a shockwave loud enough that the escaping students had to stop and look back.

The aftermath was Chen crawling out of the six-foot-deep web hole and the demon cultivator grinning where he floated.

While they were busy trading one-sided blows, Xuan noticed a treasure chest that had just appeared in the middle of all this.

It seemed he wasn't the only one who saw it or felt what was inside. That was exactly what the demon cultivator came for.

The map leading to the location of the last Spirit Dragoness beast.

"Step away from the box, boy," Xuan heard the demon cultivator growl behind his back. Turning to look around, he saw Chen Fang completely beaten up.

Blood slowly filled his bruised face. A few rocks were on top of him as if he were buried.

That was what Xuan expected when a fight between a Heaven realm two cultivator and a Divine stage two—it would be over in a matter of minutes.

Xuan sighed. "Tell me, what's the technique you used?" he asked.

"Uh? Hmph, don't you already have enough problems to worry about from using taboo techniques? Sooner or later the gods will notice a mortal has found their forbidden scrolls."

Xuan realized that he had never used a genuine cultivation technique before. After discovering the dimensional library, there were major consequences for it, including the ones he had read about. The gods knowing he existed was the least of his problems.

"Now step away from the box," the demon repeated himself.

However, without listening to the nonsense, Xuan turned around and picked up the chest as it made the sound of unlocking itself.

Boom.

The demon cultivator instantly rushed in with a drawn-out fist encased with the aura of death. However, he found himself stuck in time.

He couldn't move his body. He just froze right behind Xuan. "You shouldn't have rushed into my time domain."

Opening the chest, Xuan saw the scroll tied up. He opened it and was very happy knowing it was legit—a Dragoness spirit beast.

"What? Why can't I move?"

"What? That's actually impressive. You're the first I've seen able to talk. Really, you're strong," Xuan chuckled a little. "But clearly not strong enough."

He walked toward the almost dead Chen Fang and squatted, holding his hand, and with that, Xuan took the spatial ring.

"This must be really expensive," he said. A gold tier. The one he saw with the physician before now was silver—a silver tier.

Without missing a beat, the whole tomb was empty, completely leaving no sign of treasures.

"I know, I know, I am insanely strong, hahaha," Xuan laughed at the demon cultivator. Unable to do anything, no matter how hard he tried escaping the time domain, the only result was the surface of the tomb giving a wide crack.

"Don't you get it? The strongest cultivation techniques are the taboo ones. You think if your baby-step demon techniques were comparable to mine, they wouldn't be lying around?"

Xuan summoned his venomous dagger, placing the cold steel on the demon's neck.

"Even after knowing I use a taboo technique, you still foolishly tried attacking. I mean, look at you, you didn't last more than a second for me to handle."

The demon's breathing grew heavy. He could see his life flashing before his eyes. He knew he was going to die.

"They'll... they'll come for you," he said, as if counting his words, when in reality, fear wasn't allowing his words to flow properly.

"It was the same taboo techniques that made them gods, and I will become a god." Accompanying Xuan's whisper, the head of the demon was heard hitting the ground.

Then its body lifelessly fell on its knees before falling down completely, blood flowing out of its headless body.

Soon, the body started burning itself, slowly fading away into black dust.

After a very long sleep, Xue Ming finally began opening her eyes. The view in front of her was initially blurry, but as soon as it cleared, she saw Xuan.

"Hey, are you okay?"

She was resting her body on a very big block. Xuan was in front of her and Han Bai beside her. If she clearly remembered, the clouds were still bright before she went offline.

Now, it was nighttime, and the surroundings still said they were in the outskirts of the capital.

"Xuan, are you—are you hurt?" Xue Ming asked. A bloodstain was on his face, but when she touched it, there wasn't any injury.

"It's not mine." Xuan kept the air silent for a few seconds and asked, "So what's your dad going to say about us?"

"Us? We—" Xue Ming paused, recollecting the memories that happened inside the tomb. She felt shy and buried her face on his bare chest.

Xuan did not expect that reaction, but he welcomed it. "Hey, here's your stuff." Xuan tossed the spatial ring to Han Bai, who had been unhappy the entire time.

But as he caught the ring, he looked at Xuan. "Wait a minute," Han Bai muttered. He opened the ring and peeked inside with his eye. Seeing all the gold, he screamed.

He was completely overjoyed.

"They're all yours. Though, I think we've got a dragon to find," Xuan revealed the map. "Location of the last Dragoness spirit beast. I want to tame it."

"I'm in," Han Bai nodded. Xuan couldn't tell how happy Han Bai was right now.

"You might need a female again. I mean, if you want, I could come," Xue Ming stuttered.

And they all laughed, knowing what she really meant.
