Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1353: Max's Proposal!

After returning to his room in the underground area of the Divine Colosseum, Max finally allowed himself to rest, using the quiet and isolation to focus inward rather than on the chaos of the arena above.

Most of his time was spent idly manipulating his mana while interacting with the Divine Essence drifting through the air, experimenting with the way the two energies responded to each other and testing small ideas that came to his mind as he grew more familiar with this new environment.

Through his concentration from the previous day, Max had come to a clear realization that Divine Essence was far more powerful than the mana he had relied on until now.

The difference between them felt immense, almost as if mana was nothing more than water being used as fuel when compared to something vastly more potent like liquid hydrogen, and that understanding only strengthened his desire to break through beyond the peak of Divine Rank as soon as possible.

The idea of converting his energy into something closer to Divine Essence filled him with anticipation, because he knew that true ascension could only begin once that transformation was complete.

However, after spending two full days within the Divine Colosseum, Max began to notice a harsh and unsettling truth. Not once had he seen a single ascendant who had gone beyond the peak of Divine Rank.

At first, he wondered whether they simply had not yet broken through, but as time passed, a more troubling possibility emerged in his mind, which was that perhaps they could not break through at all. From what he had observed, many of the veterans here had lived for years within the Divine Colosseum, and yet they were all still stuck at the same peak level, never once stepping into the realm beyond Divine Rank.

It was not an isolated case either, because everyone he encountered seemed bound by the same invisible ceiling.

This made Max question whether advancing beyond Divine Rank was inherently difficult, or whether there was some crucial requirement needed for that breakthrough which simply did not exist for slaves trapped within the Divine Colosseum.

The thought lingered in his mind, because if such a restriction truly existed, then remaining here for too long would only hinder his growth rather than help it.

"Anyway, I should level up as soon as I have enough energy to devour," Max muttered quietly, his resolve firming as he leaned back slightly. "But first, I need to gain my freedom."

With that thought settled, he turned his attention back to the Divine Essence in the air, once again playing with it carefully as he searched for new insights and possibilities hidden within its flow.

Just like that, the remainder of the day slipped by for Max without much incident, and before he realized it, the time for rest had ended once more.

When the morning of the third day arrived, Max made his way to the side of the arena along with the other ascendants, only to be greeted by a sight that immediately told him how much things had changed.

The crowd gathered in the Divine Colosseum was as large as it had been the previous day, if not even larger, and the moment Max came into view, the spectators erupted into cheers, shouts, and thunderous chants that shook the stands.

The excitement spiraled into pure chaos the instant he stepped closer to the arena, as if his mere presence had become enough to ignite the entire colosseum.

Max let out a quiet sigh when he saw the scene unfolding before him, because even now, he found the reaction excessive.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let us begin with the first battle of Max Morgan," the announcer declared, his voice echoing throughout the Divine Colosseum with practiced enthusiasm. As expected, his words triggered another massive eruption from the crowd, their excitement surging yet again, but just as the announcer was about to continue, Max raised his voice and interrupted him.

"I have a proposal to make," Max said calmly.

At those words, the Divine Colosseum fell into complete silence, as if someone had suddenly muted the world itself. Thousands upon thousands of eyes turned toward Max at the same time, all of them filled with curiosity and anticipation, because everyone instinctively knew that whatever he was about to say would not be ordinary.

"What proposal?" the announcer asked, his curiosity clear as he looked at Max.

Max smiled lightly before speaking again, his voice carrying clearly across the arena. "I would like to fight all three of my opponents from today's battles, along with the final tenth opponent, at the same time. I request that you arrange this for me."

For a brief moment, no one reacted at all, as if the words had not fully registered in their minds. Then, the shock hit everyone at once, and the Divine Colosseum was plunged into a pin drop silence so profound that it felt unreal.

In the very next heartbeat, that silence shattered violently as the crowd erupted into absolute madness, their roars of disbelief and excitement crashing together as the hype reached a level far beyond anything seen in the colosseum before.

"What? Max wants to fight the last four opponents at the same time? This is madness, this has never happened before in the history of the Divine Colosseum," someone shouted at the top of their lungs as they sprang to their feet, their voice cracking under the weight of sheer disbelief.

"Are we really about to witness something this unbelievable, or am I dreaming right now," another spectator yelled, clutching their head as if trying to keep their thoughts from spilling out, their eyes locked onto Max with burning excitement and fear mixed together.

"I am excited, I am really excited, please make it happen, I beg you to make it happen," a man screamed hysterically, his fists pumping into the air as his entire body trembled with anticipation, no longer caring about anything else happening in the world.

"This is insane, fighting four battles at once including the final opponent, this is not confidence anymore, this is absolute domination," someone roared, their voice drowned for a moment before rising again with even greater intensity.

"Hahaha, today will be carved into history, I knew coming here was the right decision," another voice cried out, filled with manic laughter as people around them began shouting uncontrollably.

"Let him do it, let him do it right now, if Max wins this then even the Grim Gladiator will not feel untouchable anymore," a spectator bellowed, their words igniting even greater chaos among the crowd.

The Divine Colosseum descended into complete pandemonium as thousands of voices collided at once, people screaming, laughing, shouting, and stomping so hard that the entire structure trembled, because in that moment, reason vanished entirely and only one thought remained in every mind present, which was that they were standing on the edge of witnessing something that would be remembered as legend.
