Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1285: Killing Balthazar!

Max remained silent for a long moment as he weighed everything he had heard. His eyes remained fixed on the four demon kings, but his thoughts wandered to Mark, the corrupted crownbearer, and the faint possibility of reversing the tragedy.

Yet even after considering every angle, every risk, and every hidden intention, he slowly shook his head. "Thanks, but no thanks," he said firmly. "Between trusting demons who have never spoken a single truth without a hidden agenda and fighting a fully powered crownbearer, I would rather choose the fight." His voice carried an unwavering certainty that made several demons twitch in irritation.

"You think you can handle a corrupted crownbearer?" one of the demon kings scoffed. His enormous body trembled as a mocking laugh vibrated through the air. "He is far stronger than the combined force of the four of us. Not even the divine beasts could restrain him once the corruption took hold. Do you truly believe you can survive such a battle? You speak as though your courage alone can alter fate."

Max's expression did not change. Instead, a cold, sharp sneer appeared on his lips. "That simply means if I can kill all four of you, then I will stand a chance against him, does it not?" he asked calmly.

His tone was harsh but confident, and it struck the demon kings with a force they had not expected. The arrogance they detected was matched by a clarity that unsettled them. He did not underestimate them. He simply refused to fear them.

Without waiting for their response, Max raised his fist and signaled the seven squad leaders behind him. His voice thundered across the battlefield. "Attack!"

The moment the command left his mouth, the seven squad leaders propelled themselves forward, each leading their squads with full force. The ground trembled as the humans surged toward the massive demon army. Lightning crackled, flames erupted, shadows expanded, and the sky filled with swords and elemental energy. The battlefield roared to life in an instant, and the demons reacted with enraged screams as they charged to meet the human offensive.

"Foolish human! You will die here, and your small army will be erased from existence!" the third demon king roared. His voice reverberated through the battlefield as he glared at Max with unrestrained fury. "To refuse cooperation and challenge us is the height of ignorance!"

"We will see about that," Max replied. His entire body shimmered with radiant white light, and the air around him distorted violently. Before anyone could understand what was happening, a perfect dome of compressed space formed around him.

The spatial barrier expanded outward, surrounding Max, Balthazar, and all four demon kings in a confined sphere. The world outside blurred and vanished as the spatial walls sealed with absolute precision.

The demons stared at the enclosed space in shock.

"What is this? A spatial cage?" the first demon king shouted, his frown deepening as he examined the shimmering dome that prevented any movement beyond its boundary. He looked directly at Max. "Are you so foolish as to trap yourself inside a confined space with us?"

Max did not acknowledge his question. He simply turned his head toward the seven squad leaders who were preparing their squads for an all-out battle outside the dome. "I will take care of everyone trapped inside this spatial cage," Max said calmly. "You seven make sure not a single demon outside survives."

Victor nodded with conviction. "Leave it to us," he said before turning to the others. His voice filled with authority as he commanded, "All squads, attack with everything you have!"

The battlefield erupted into chaos. The demons outside the spatial cage clashed with the humans in a storm of destruction, while inside the sealed dome, Max now stood alone against Balthazar and the four demon kings. The ultimate confrontation was about to begin.

"Now we can battle without a care in the world," Max said with a relaxed smile as he slowly lifted his sword. A strange pressure began to radiate from his body, and the atmosphere inside the spatial dome shifted as if the very air had become fragile.

The fifth level concept of severing sword unfurled from within him like a silent storm. It was a power that cut more than matter. It sliced intention, energy, aura, and even the momentum of existence.

When Max had retreated to the Tower of Truth to comprehend the fifth level of severing, he discovered that unlike space or time, which required layers of complex understanding, severing followed a simpler, more primal law. It demanded clarity, sharpness, purpose, and a single pure intention: to cut. With time and focus, he had reached the fifth level far more smoothly than he expected.

What Max did not realize was that achieving a fifth level concept was not an isolated accomplishment. It created a subtle resonance that linked all other concepts he had previously pushed to the fourth level. It was as though breaking through one impossible barrier reminded the soul that impossibility itself could be shattered.

Once a cultivator succeeded in doing something that defied all logical boundaries, the mind and soul accepted that other barriers of the same height could be broken as well. Max had unknowingly stepped into a state where the fifth levels of his remaining concepts lay much closer than before, waiting only for the slightest push to fall into place.

The moment the severing concept filled the dome, the four demon kings reacted instinctively. Their expressions changed, and for the first time since their confrontation began, shock flashed through their ancient eyes.

"Fifth level sword concept?" one of them whispered, though the words trembled as if his voice could barely contain what he was feeling. A fifth level sword concept was something only beings of the highest realms could wield. For a human in a restricted world to achieve this was beyond belief.

Before any of the demon kings could move, something dreadful happened.

A faint ripple of light shimmered beside them, almost invisible. There was no wind. No buildup of aura. No explosive force to warn them. The sword concept of severing did not announce itself. It existed only to cut.

A thin, clean line of white light passed through Balthazar's body.

He froze.

His eyes widened, and confusion flickered there, followed by the onset of panic. He tried to speak, but no sound left his throat. The only coherent thought that surfaced in his mind was a desperate, broken question: "How?"

His body separated into two halves with quiet finality. There was no blood, because even the flow of his demonic essence had been severed before it could erupt. The pieces of his corpse began to fall, but they disintegrated into dark dust before reaching the ground as the severing energy erased the last traces of his existence.

Within a single heartbeat, Balthazar—who once stood as one of the strongest demon geniuses in the realm—was gone.

One strike.

That was all Max needed. The battle inside the spatial cage had only just begun, yet its first blow had already shifted the balance completely.
