Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1139: A Beast Controlling Space?

The creature didn't respond. Instead, its body blurred. For an instant, Max saw it lunge toward him, its claws glowing faintly with blue energy, but before the attack could land, the beast vanished completely.

Max's pupils contracted sharply as his Three Dimensional Body alarmed warning him. He turned his head just in time to feel a pulse of energy appear behind him.

'Fast!' he thought, his instincts screaming.

He pivoted on his heel and brought his sword around in a clean arc. The blade sliced through the air with a sharp whistle. A burst of blue sparks erupted as steel met claw. The impact sent a shockwave through the clearing, scattering leaves and kicking up waves of dust.

The beast had reappeared directly behind him, striking with a precision that was unnatural. Its movement hadn't been speed—it had been something else entirely. It wasn't running or dashing. It was simply appearing wherever it wanted to.

Max pushed back, skidding across the soft ground, his boots leaving glowing prints. "Teleportation?" he muttered, his eyes narrowing as he studied the creature. "No… it's not quite teleportation. It's something like space manipulation."

The beast hissed softly, its form flickering like a reflection on water. Then it vanished again. This time, Max didn't wait. His Three Dimensional Body activated instantly, scanning the flow of energy in the surrounding area.

He caught it—just barely. A flicker of movement behind him and slightly to the left.

Max twisted his sword, channeling lightning through it as he used the third level of Concept of Lightning and 4th level concept of severing sword. Blue arcs flashed from the blade as he swung it in a horizontal slash.

The sword light cut through the air and collided with the creature mid-lunge. The impact lit up the forest in a flash of blue lightning. The beast was flung backward, crashing through two pink trees before landing heavily on the ground.

Max straightened, his gaze sharp and calculating. "It's using short-range space jumps," he said to himself, his voice calm despite the tension. "Each time it moves, it slips through a dimensional fold and reappears instantly. That's why it feels like teleportation."

Blob's voice echoed in his mind. "Careful, Max. Creatures like this are extremely dangerous. If it can control spatial folds, it might also distort your attacks. Don't rely on simple prediction—it could appear from anywhere."

Max nodded slightly, his grip tightening on the sword. Across from him, the beast stood up again. Its body flickered with static energy, but its movements were still sharp and fluid. The wounds from his lightning strike had already begun to close.

A faint smile crossed Max's face. "Interesting. Let's see how far your tricks can take you."

The beast hissed again, its tendrils flaring with light. The air shimmered once more, and in an instant, it vanished from sight. But this time, Max was ready. Blue lightning flickered along his body, his senses heightened, his perception sharpened to its limit.

The battle inside the glowing forest had only just begun.

The beast disappeared again, and Max's eyes gleamed faintly in amusement. The creature's movements were erratic but strangely rhythmic, as though following a natural flow that mimicked the pulse of the forest itself. Every time it vanished, the air distorted slightly—tiny ripples spreading outward like water disturbed by a stone.

Max smirked as he raised his sword. "Alright then. Let's play for a while."

The next moment, the beast reappeared behind him, striking with blinding speed. Its claws gleamed with condensed spatial energy, sharp enough to cut through the air.

Max twisted his body effortlessly, parrying the attack with the flat of his blade. Sparks flew as the impact released a small shockwave that scattered the glowing leaves nearby.

The beast vanished again, appearing above him this time, its tendrils stretching down like spears. Max sidestepped smoothly, allowing one of the tendrils to pierce the ground beside him, leaving behind a deep crater. "You're fast," he murmured, his tone calm, almost playful. "But you're repetitive."

The creature snarled, the air vibrating with the distortion of its next jump. It reappeared to Max's right this time, slashing fiercely. Max didn't move. He simply raised his sword, blocking the strike with perfect timing. Another jump, another attack, another parry. Over and over, the pattern repeated.

Each clash of claw and steel sent waves of blue light through the forest, illuminating the strange trees. Max's eyes never left the creature. He wasn't focused on killing it yet—he was studying it. Every strike, every reappearance, every ripple in the air—it all revealed something in his Three Dimensional Body.

"I see now," Max said softly, deflecting another blow. "You aren't teleporting randomly. You're following the spatial veins of this forest."

Blob's voice came through, curious. "Spatial veins?"

"Yes," Max replied calmly, sidestepping another strike. "This forest has an invisible structure—a network of spatial threads connecting everything. The beast is using those threads to jump. It's not bending space by itself; it's following the natural flow of this area."

Blob hummed in realization. "So, the forest itself enhances its ability."

"Exactly." Max's tone sharpened as he swung his sword, sending a burst of blue lightning toward the creature. The beast dodged again, flickering from one side to another. "But that also means I can manipulate the same thing."

The beast lunged one more time, aiming straight for his chest. Max exhaled slowly, his eyes glowing faintly violet. "Third Level Concept of Space—Spatial Distortion."

Instantly, the air around them solidified. The forest trembled as faint lines of light appeared in the air, forming a lattice of glowing pathways. The spatial veins that the beast had been freely jumping through suddenly froze. The moment it tried to move, its body jerked violently, its claws scraping against an invisible wall.

The creature let out a distorted growl, its form flickering in confusion. It tried again, attempting to vanish, but space itself had become rigid. Its movement halted completely.

Max stepped forward, lightning crackling along his blade. "It's over."

He swung his sword in a single, clean motion. A sharp flash of blue and red lightning erupted, cutting through the beast's body. The creature didn't even have time to scream. Its form disintegrated instantly, dissolving into countless motes of blue light that scattered through the glowing forest like fragments of a broken illusion.

When the light faded, Max lowered his sword, his expression calm. But then, his gaze flickered slightly. He could still feel something strange in the air.

He raised his hand, letting a faint thread of space energy gather in his palm. The energy responded instantly—faster and smoother than before. It flowed naturally, bending to his will as though it had always belonged to him.

His brows furrowed. "This is…"
