DILEmma

"well you're a sight for sunrise scarcer than the rarest of blue moons"Athena said as Chief Knight Zero walked past her.

Zero didn't respond but walked ahead.

The Chief Knight wore a white long sleeved shirt against a black pants with black boots,his long black hair tied in a ponytail with a small shorter bundle falling down his right chin.

Every Knight present in the imperial field for the exams had casual dresses on as they awaited the moment they would be called in.

Athena reappeared before him and grabbed his arm.

"Let's talk!"

In a blast they reappeared on a mountain,from below up ahead zero could see the gates of Urah and both palaces in it.

"I don't recall permitting your teleporting me here".

Athena shook her head with a faint smile.

"You are just like Gerald your friend with grumpy similarities".

Zero's brows furrowed he neared her in fury.

"What right have you to mention that name...you know I like this pretty secluded place,a perfect spot to snap your crocked neck".Zero said pulling on the collar of her shirt.

"You don't honestly think you can beat me".

Zero let out a menacing laughter as he let go of her.

"I promise you,you know nothing about me"

"I never wanted him dead_"

"Yet you plotted with them...I swear you will all pay".

"I loved him".

"What!"

"I loved and cherished him,I even tried to save him but what could I do against so many...so many enemies".

Athena watched Zero's face relax before she continued.

"King max killed him... he is one of the higher ups".

"The Emperor's friend?".

"I want revenge as much as you do but I have no idea what to do then I figured we would be of one mind"

She raised a brow and stared at him.

His dark sad eyes watched her patiently as his long black hair tied in a ponytail rattled in the wind.

"I don't suppose you have gotten over his death have you ?....and you seem not to have come here on your own Accord".

"No!...I got a summon".

Athena placed a hand on her chin and considered this for a moment,her peircing eyes staring deeply into his.

"Someone's playing games with you".

"What do you mean?"Zero inquired.

"For a knight to be summoned to contest for the emperor's Knight position he must be a candidate of a king or the Emperor...the person who summoned you must know of your friendship with Gerald and must have known you would never contest on your own".

"Then there's only one way to find out".

"What do you intend to do?"

"Something explicit".Zero responded,his gaze deep.

"And I must say....he might know of your involvement in the Emperess's death"

"Know of?"Zero's face flushed in anger.

"Oh Don't play dumb with me...You got a letter to her destination but took her somewhere else instead".

"I only did as I was told,the highlights of the plan was kept from me...and I desired only the unborn prince's death".

"His death might as well be to never be born,tell me...why do you want him dead?"Athena queried nearing him.

"Is it just the sake of our realm or is there another hidden ulterior motive up there?"she said leaning in.

Zero stepped backward and looked away facing Urah.

"You are not the type to care about others except Gerald whom you took as family, something tells me there is more to you than meets the eye".

Zero quickly backed her and clutched his fists.

"The emperor,I've seen the way you look at him".

"So?"

"In what way did he wrong you to spring up such deep hatred_"

"You are imagining things"Zero cut in calmly with a fake smile.

Athena looked skeptical,her suspicious gaze filled with unvoiced questions told him she wasn't convinced.

"What if...what if it's the Emperor who summoned you?".

"I will know in due time".

"No matter how much I think of it it must be the Emperor or king max or some other higher-up we haven't met, maybe another king but I would first placed my bets on those two who reside in Urah,it's easier for someone close by to be aware of your relationship with him,who knows getting you his position would be a fast way of punishment"

"We should get back".

Athena nodded.

"It should be just about time for the exams to begin,we will meet thereafter".

"Be careful" Athena said finally but he was gone before the words came out.

Tyran caressed her hair as he kissed her neck before raising her shirt to expose her breasts,he stared at it lustfully.

They were exactly the same size as Fiona's.

The emperor drew closer and let his tongue do it's work,as he did he felt tears well up in his eyes but he fought to restrain them.

Seriah didn't know why she found herself loosing her skirt, desiring more of him.

Prior to his touch her intention was only bedding him against her wish only if she had no other choice just for the sake of her plan but at the moment she just wanted the peak of his warmth,with his every touch she found her mind going blank,found herself desiring him even more.

She grabbed his hand and placed it on her waist, sinking even deeper into his embrace.

Seriah drew in for a kiss but Tyran averted his face in time, aiming the kiss at her neck then down her body.

He arose and pushed her back against the bed before parting her legs.

Tyran stared at her for a moment as his hand gripped his pants,trying his best to resist the masculine urge of bonding with her.

He found his mind and body overtaken by a lust insufficient enough to overthrow his heart rooted with the feelings he felt for his dead beloved,no matter how much she looked like Fiona,she wasn't Fiona.

Fiona was gone and here he was in bed with her look alike when her killers where still out there.

Tyran sighed and let go of his pants before going to sit at the edge of the bed.

"Get dressed and pour me another drink"he said.
