DILEmma

King Max stared at Gerald's body for a while with a hand raised to his chin,his mind debating if the beast claws stab would suffice for a clean savage kill set up.

Dark stood next to a crying Athena who had now sunk to her knees with her face buried in her palms.

The king watched Prince Marcus walked towards him after descending a tree nearby

"You had been watching"

"Yes king Maxmillian and I enjoyed it all through"

Prince Marcus frowned when his gaze dropped to the knight lying in his own pool of blood.

"Except this part"The prince shook his head"I do not know him too well but I will miss him".

Without looking his way,king max pointed in the direction Kaugra lay some distance away.

"You should go heal her so we leave here quickly!"he ordered.

Marcus nodded and walked in Dark's direction instead.

The king's gaze followed him for a while before settling back on the knight.

Prince Marcus reached where Dark stood,placed a hand on Athena's shoulder and whispered.

"At least you have me to love now...i another fine blonde"he smirked,double tapped her shoulders slightly before walking in Kaugra's direction.

Though she had heard him,the Chief Knight ignored him while she drowned in her own sorrow.

Dark watched him go,he turned to king Maxmillian who stood few paces ahead, backing him

"Tydor will join us soon...But Garrett accompanies his father so as not to raise suspicions".

King Max didn't answer.

A purple light engulfed him, disappearing to reveal his full Semonio beast form,a purple enormous beast with a long mane having huge protruding horns and fangs.

He bent over and bit off one of Gerald's arm,chewing on it till nothing was left.

Next he bit off a small part of the Knight's leg.

The sight of his gobbling up dead meat irritated Dark who tried his best to hide the disgust he felt.

"For being such a good knight I will do him the honor of his limbs being eaten by a king"

King Max said as he returned back to his stable form before wiping off the blood on his lips with the back of his hand.

"Not that I enjoy a dead kill...but I must do this for him".

The king turned towards Athena,the agonizing look on her contoured face as she watched him,triggering a malignant laughter from him.

"You monster!"She yelled out.

With a sharp swift motion Dark's hand connected with her cheek,the slap resounding like a clap of thunder sent her crashing to the floor.

Fresh hot tears welled up in her eyes as she stared up ahead in shock at Gerald's body frozen from the agony with both hands covering her ears.

Just then dark percieved a scent of demons close by

"Do you smell it?"he asked the king who stoped laughing and nodded.

He placed a palm to the ground and using soul sight spotted a Chief Knight and a general he knew on horseback.

"Not much of a threat,just a general and a Knight"he said as he rose to his feet.

"I will take care of them_"

"And I will get a savage here to prepare this scene...do what you must and when necessary,do not hesitate to send them off"

His eyes looked ahead, setting on Marcus who was busy healing Athena.

"Why did Prince Garrith not come instead,his inability to teleport make him more of a liability to me,he should have prepared the scene instead".

Dark lifted Athena up and landed a deep Punch in her abdomen, knocking her out.

With king max ordering Marcus to stay behind they both teleported to various destinations as planned.

General yin and Linzu,a Chief Knight from Urah rode deeper into the words on the only horses in their group.

They had been fighting throughout the previous day till the morning and we're beyond exhausted.

Hundreds of Savages had been captured by their lot and the allowed the rest to flee while the demons rested but King Max's disappearance and his blocked telepathy had prompted the need for a search and they had volunteered to go in this direction.

The flame flares they had seen in the atmosphere alerted their attention, driving them deeper into the woods with a notion of a Semonio in distress needing their assistance.

The dying whinnes of the savage had made them hesitate to go further thinking the Semonio was probably safe but still,the fact that a single Semonio was out alone in the forest when savages hunted in parks pequied their curiosity to investigate even further making them plunge further into the forest.

To them,something seemed off.

They halted when the figure of someone distant away walking towards them came into view.

Few hours away from midnight,the moon had long hidden away in the clouds as the night gradually paved way for daylight.

The dark clear sky gave off its own dimlight but with their heighted sense of sight they could clearly visualize his silhouette as he approached them, stopping paces away.

The general was a study short dark haired demon with battered armour,from his intact Emblem they could tell he was a general from Urah.

General yin searched his head in attempt to remember then it clicked.

He recalled he had seen him earlier alongside king Max's Generals before they went seperate ways with their kings.

Generals and knights from other kingdoms were unfamiliar with themselves.

Although they sometimes met in meetings only very few maintained a knit friendship zone enough to talk after meetings.

As a general from Polymus,Yin barely spoke to more than five generals after meetings.

The general laughed gleefully,spreading out both arms.

"My apologies for having bothered you lot,alerting and making you come all these way...I chased a savage into the woods and killed it,you have nothing to worry about...we should get back to the others immediately,these woods are not safe".

The Chief Knight's eyes followed him with a suspicious look on his face as he walked past them in the direction they had come from.

He turned to general yin.

"He reeks of a Corpse"
