Dig Up the Sun Emperor's Legacy: I Build an Invincible Undead Legion

Chapter 310: Andrea's Despair

A vicious giant mouth jutted out from the tip, constantly dripping acid spit that hissed and bubbled on the ground.

"Kill... kill you!!!"

Virginia completely changed her look. Her nasty whale eyes locked onto the enemy as her twisted whale tail shot out at breakneck speed.

The Split Glutton dodged sideways, confused:

"Fallen?"

Seeing this, it wasn't in a rush to chow down anymore:

"No, still a bit short. Trying to save a buddy?"

The Split Glutton grinned like a maniac as its body split into two again.

One blocked Virginia who was about to lose it completely.

One made a beeline for the badly hurt and knocked-out Andrea.

Its vicious giant mouth was about to drop down, about to gulp Andrea down in one bite...

Virginia let out a pissed-off whale roar, desperately trying to break through the Fallen sub-body's blockade, but the power gap meant she couldn't punch through at all.

"Andrea!!!"

She squeezed her eyes shut in agony, not wanting to see what came next...

Tears leaked from her mutated whale eyes.

Sorry, Andrea...

The Split Glutton's main body smelled the meat about to hit its mouth and couldn't help drooling like crazy.

Your buddy—I'm gonna swallow her whole!

But right then:

"Moo?"

Along with a casual questioning sound, the air went dead. Wind and water sounds vanished.

An absolutely terrifying presence spread...

Who... who the hell is it...

The Split Glutton seemed crushed by this awful pressure until its eyeballs bulged.

Fear from the pit of its soul came bubbling up. It stiffly turned its head.

Behind it, at some point nobody saw, a blood-winged monster had shown up.

The terrifying aura it gave off—even among those Fallen Commanders, nothing like this had ever been seen.

This... this is... which past generation's Sequence 0...

The Split Glutton instinctively put on a kiss-ass expression.

"Moo?"

Blood Silver curiously looked at the Split Glutton's main body, then at its sub-body.

Then... it vanished.

When it reappeared, it held the sub-body's head in its hand, blood dripping.

But Blood Silver didn't give a damn. It just curiously hollowed out the head, flipped it upside down, then chucked it in front of the Split Glutton.

The Split Glutton's claws shook nervously.

This monster... too damn fast!

The sub-body with half its own strength had been totally unable to react before getting its head ripped off.

Hell... the Split Glutton hadn't even clearly seen how this monster moved.

Fear of the terrifying thing made the Split Glutton unable to even think about running. Its claws obediently stayed put.

"Moo!"

Blood Silver barked an order.

Huh???

The Split Glutton couldn't figure it out and was completely lost.

Then... WHAM... a leg instantly disappeared...

"No... don't!"

Sharp pain hit. In total fear, the Split Glutton suddenly got it.

It immediately sucked up the pain and split off a sub-body.

Blood Silver's eyes lit up. It casually ripped off the sub-body's head, hollowed it out, and tossed it in front of the Split Glutton again.

Then...

"Moo!"

"..."

The Split Glutton confirmed its hunch and started frantically splitting sub-bodies...

Then... WHAM... WHAM... WHAM...

One bloody head after another got hollowed out...

Nearby, the ignored Virginia fought off her nearly collapsing willpower and was totally confused by the scene in front of her:

"What the hell is..."

Another even scarier monster had rolled up, and the Split Glutton was completely outclassed.

Right now, this blood-winged monster was playing with the Split Glutton, paying zero attention to her.

But Virginia still didn't dare budge.

Her survival instincts were going nuts warning her—this was definitely a terrifying thing she couldn't hurt even if she completely went dark.

But... Virginia felt her awareness getting fuzzier and fuzzier.

Andrea... she had to get Andrea out of here...

This single obsession in her head kept her last thread of sanity alive.

Keeping her aura down, she quietly crept toward Andrea...

Not moving was fine, but this movement immediately got Blood Silver's attention.

It remembered 'mom's' orders.

With a thought, a bright red chain appeared out of thin air, instantly wrapping up the sneaking Virginia tight.

"I'm screwed!"

Virginia lost hope.

She felt the endless power in her body rapidly draining away, vanishing without a trace in seconds.

The weird whale scales on her surface quickly pulled back, and even her signature whale tail started shrinking fast, now only worth calling a tiny whale tail.

"I... I'm back to normal?"

With the whale magic locked down, Virginia's sanity slowly came back. She was blown away:

This monster's power could actually fix someone like her who was one step away from going dark!

Right then, another bright red chain wrapped up the passed-out Andrea.

Both women got hoisted up behind Blood Silver.

Virginia wiggled around, frantically calling:

"Andrea!"

She noticed Andrea's eyebrows scrunching up in pain and felt a bit better.

Good, she wasn't dead.

But what was this nightmare monster's game? Where did it want to drag them?

Virginia's already crappy thinking was now completely fried.

Man... Andrea, wake up fast. We've been nabbed by a monster...

...

Time crawled by, minute by minute.

Bloody heads that had been hollowed out were stacked into a pyramid.

Blood Silver seemed pretty happy, then reached out and smacked them all!

Smashed them all into mush!

Right then, Blood Silver felt a fresh kind of satisfaction.

So it kept pushing:

"Moo!"

The Split Glutton's face was white as a sheet. Its originally fat body was now skin and bones.

It desperately wanted to split sub-bodies but really had no extra meat to squeeze out.

It showed a smile that looked worse than crying:

"Can... can I..."

Before finishing, Blood Silver got that this toy couldn't make babies anymore.

It immediately lost interest.

Blood mist bloomed. Having lost interest, Blood Silver naturally watched the blood flowers...

Blood splattered, landing on the unconscious Andrea's face.

She slowly opened her eyes. Before she could see straight, she felt the ground getting farther away as her whole body lifted up.

A worried familiar voice came:

"Andrea, you're finally awake!"

"Fill me in on what's going down."

Without Virginia's explanation, just from her own mess, Andrea figured out the general situation...
