Chapter 278: Chapter 278 Too Much
Eero glanced at both of them speechlessly, especially looking at Kaido drunk in his dragon form, flying irregularly.
'Well, it doesn't matter; let them toss,' Eero thought to himself.
"Oy, why did you run away before? Haven't I said we will defeat the Kaido together?" Yamato noticed his figure and shouted angrily toward his direction.
Eero mouth twitched, turned around, and glanced at her, seeing her serious and angry expression. 'This girl is my nemesis.'
Bang!!!
Instantly Kaido returned to his own form and landed behind him, with a spiky mace in his hand.
"It was you who set him free," Kaido spoke, walking toward him, tightening his mace.
Eero turned and glanced at the huge mace waved by Kaido toward his direction.
"Be careful, dodge it stupid," Yamato shouted angrily, running toward his direction.
Eero glanced at the mace reaching near his face; he sighed and muttered, "It seems a punch will be enough to make you sober up."
Swish!!!
Instantly, Yamato figure froze seeing Eero land calmly on the ground while Kaido was nowhere to be seen.
Boom! Boom!! Bang!!!
Next moment, the whole island vibrated with extremely high-pressure air that slid her back.
She slid back, raised her arm, and embedded the mace in the ground beside her in order to stop her inertia.
Then she glanced at the direction of the forest below, seeing a huge dragging line all the way to the edge of the island, even piercing through the mountain centers.
Far away, near the edge of the island, Kaido, lying in a crater, sat up and spit up blood and teeth on the ground in front of him.
"What happened just now?" He muttered, shaking his head, feeling the pain from his whole skull.
He stood up and turned around and glanced at the highest point far away. "That kid, despite using armor haki, he almost shattered my skull; it reminds me of that bastard captain rocks."
Recalling the last scene in his mind, Eero moved just as his mace was about to touch him, leaving a trail of afterimages, and then he jumped and punched his cheek, sending him flying away toward the edge of the island.
Kaido then transformed into dragon form and flew toward the Eero direction.
"It seems your father has now sobered up," Eero said calmly, looking at the dragon flying toward their direction.
Yamato nodded in daze seeing her father dragon form a flying pattern that is simple and straight, coming toward their direction, not as irregular as before.
"Ha ha ha, as expected of the character battling two old monsters alone, I have to admit your punches are quite heavy; I recognize you as one of the strong in the ocean." Kaido laughter sounded and then transformed into his original form, landing beside Eero.
"Well, I don't need anyone's recognition; by the way, we don't have any enmity, so don't even try to attack me again or I won't show any mercy." Eero glanced at him and replied calmly,
'Did he show mercy just now?' Yamato, standing beside them, thought speechlessly, looking at the long string of dragging lines all the way to the edge of the island.
"Don't worry, I am not interested in fighting you." Kaido spoke, walked toward his fallen mace and picked it up, and walked away, leaving both Eero and Yamato behind.
"Probably, after today he won't care about what you do," Eero spoke, looking at Kaido back returning to his palace on Onigashima.
Yamato nodded thoughtfully, then glanced at Eero walking toward the port direction. "Are you really leaving this country like that? What about people's freedom? Don't you want to free then from Kaido's reign?" she asked solemnly.
Eero footsteps halted and turned around. He glanced at her and then shook his head and said, "I am not interested in some freedom fight; no one cares about weak."
"What about Kozuki Oden? Didn't he sacrifice his life for weak? He sacrificed himself for this country," Yamato said, clenching her fist angrily.
"Let me correct you; he didn't sacrifice himself; he just couldn't protect his own country; this country belonged to him in the first place; why should I sympathize with a king who died protecting his throne or someone else took the throne from him by force?"
Eero replied and then glanced at the silent Yamato; she couldn't refute his word, seeing her forehead throb angrily.
He then sighed and added, "Evil and good are part of the world system everywhere, and they come after each other, which is inevitable; if Oden didn't die for throne, then inevitably in the future his son would die protecting it, or maybe his grandson."
"Don't live other people's lives; live your life without the influence of other people, or you will end up wasting it on something meaningless." Eero reminded her and walked away.
After passing through the desolate street, looking at a lot of villages destroyed and beggers lying there, some are victims of smile fruit,
'In a thousand years all of this will disappear; even those who live comfortably will not be spared; time changes each moment,' Eero thought to himself as he walked toward the edge of the island.
Instantly, hurried footsteps sounded behind him; a lot of Kaido subordinates appeared.
Eero turned around suspiciously, seeing them running away from the island with panic-filled expressions toward their ships.
'What happened here?' Eero thought, raising his brow, and spread his observation haki, covering the whole island.
The next moment he became speechless, sensing Yamato standing beside Kaido's corpse; yes, corpse, he can't detect any breath in Kaido's body.
Meanwhile, the three disasters and seven evil stars are standing in horror behind her.
'Did I use too much force? Was it brain hemorrhage or internal injury? His skull was probably cracked with my dominance haki and force punch,'
Eero thought to himself and then glanced around. A door appeared in front of him. He walked inside, then the door closed and disappeared.
