Devilish secretary

Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Trying to kidnap her?

Oh, why close the door? This human doll. Lilith thought, smirking inwardly as she walked toward him, her curiosity piqued by his sudden command.

She stopped just in front of his desk. "Yes, sir," she said, her voice calm.

His hands paused for a moment as he closed his MacBook, finally raising his head to meet her gaze. His deep eyes were unreadable, but there was something intense about the way he looked at her.

"You're coming with me," he said, standing up. Lilith couldn't help but notice how effortlessly muscular he was, his handsome features almost too perfect, like they belonged to a famous gods or one of the demon lords she knew.

"Sir, where?" Lilith asked, trying to hide her excitement. Doing something as mundane as following orders felt like a thrill to her—an unexpected part of living like a normal human.

But he didn't respond, and without another word, he began walking. Lilith had no choice but to follow him, intrigued by what was to come.

The silence stretched out as they walked, and even when they got into his expensive car, Sebastian didn't utter a single word. He slid into the back seat, gesturing for Lilith to join him. She sat beside him, her mind racing with possibilities, but he didn't spare her a glance. His attention was fixed on his phone, his face unreadable.

For an entire hour, the car sped through the city streets, the tension between them thick in the air. Lilith gazed out of the window, her amusement growing as they neared their destination. Finally, they came to a stop in front of an old, worn-down building.

Oh oh~~ Was this human doll trying to kidnap her? Lilith thought, excitement bubbling inside her. If so, she was more than ready for the adventure.

He stepped out of the car and walked into the old dusty building with long strides, while she followed closely behind.

To her surprise, inside the interior was classic and elegant, filled with high-profile individuals. They stopped near the reception desk, where a young woman sat typing on her computer.

They stopped at the receptionist's desk, where a young woman sat typing away. The moment she sensed Sebastian's presence, she looked up, her face flushing a deep shade of red at the sight of him. Lilith couldn't help but smirk inwardly. This human doll was quite the heartthrob, apparently.

When the receptionist glanced at Lilith, her confidence seemed to falter. She quickly lowered her gaze and stammered, "H-how can I help you?"

"Mr. Frank's appointment," Sebastian responded, his voice low and calm.

The receptionist checked her computer and nodded, her gaze never leaving him. "Yes, Mr. Carter. Room number 5, second floor."

Without acknowledging the woman further, Sebastian turned and headed towards the stairs. Lilith followed, amused at how this human doll catch attention without even trying.

In the grand, luxurious Brooks mansion, Rayan sat on a light cream sofa, his expression sour as he listened to his father and grandfather discuss his upcoming engagement to Lilith.

"We will celebrate your and Lilith's engagement grandly," the elder Mr. Brook declared with a satisfied smirk. "We'll call the media and hire the best Parisian designer to create your suit and Lilith's dress."

The old man, with his gray hair and cunning smile, seemed completely content with the arrangement.

"But Grandpa... isn't it too early?" Rayan asked, trying to hide his frustration. He needed more time, hoping to delay the inevitable. His heart was elsewhere—entangled with Lia, the gentle and lovely woman he couldn't get enough of. She was his forbidden desire, his obsession.

He had noticed Lia long before Lilith ever entered his life. There was something magnetic about her, a pull he couldn't resist, even though she was Lilith's best friend. It was wrong, twisted even, but he didn't care. Lia was like a drug, and he was addicted. Every time she saw him with Lilith, she would run away, like a frightened rabbit. It only made him want her more.

He remembered the night he finally got her alone, pulling her into a hotel room. The memory of her soft lips against his, the way she trembled in his arms—it was enough to drive him mad. He had kissed her, held her, unable to let go. But then, Lilith appeared.

Out of nowhere, she stormed in, catching them in the act. Furious, she lunged at his angel, her hand raised to slap her. But in a fit of rage, he shoved her away, causing her to collapse unconscious onto the floor.

Lia, his angel, had been so worried for Lilith, trying to rush to her aid. But he didn't care. He held Lia tighter, refusing to let her go. And then, somehow, Lilith woke up and managed to trap them both in a ridiculous situation, wrapping them in a blanket. She had looked so infuriating in that moment—yet annoyingly attractive.

What am I even thinking? Rayan shook his head in disgust. He shouldn't be drawn to Lilith, yet here he was, struggling to suppress those dark thoughts.

As he sat there, his grandfather's voice droning on about the engagement plans, Rayan couldn't shake the image of Lilith's smirk that night. How she had tied them both up in the blanket.

But as much as he despised the thought, there was a part of him—deep down—that was intrigued by That night She was different. She wasn't like Lia, who was soft, sweet, and easy to control. Lilith was fire, untouchable, and he couldn't predict her next move. That was dangerous. And for someone like Rayan, danger was something he was drawn to, whether he admitted it or not.

"Rayan!" His father's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. "Are you even listening?"

He blinked, forcing himself back to the present. "Yeah, I'm listening," he muttered, though he had no idea what they'd been talking about for the last few minutes.

"Good," his grandfather said with a sly grin. "Because we expect you to make this engagement the talk of the city. You'll marry Lilith,"

Rayan clenched his jaw, resisting the urge to argue. The last thing he wanted was to marry Lilith. He wanted Lia—his delicate, forbidden love. But how could he get out of this mess? He was trapped in a web of expectations, family duty, and his own reckless desires.
