Devil Fruit System in MHA

So I've been unhappy with this novel for quite some time, so i reread the novel from the start and figured out why.

Kai has no personality. He serves more as a vessel for the system than an actual character.

So, I've decided to put this novel on Hiatus while i work on a second novel to get back in groove and try some new stuff. 

I'd like you all to vote on which you'd prefer.

Option 1: My Bizarre Academia.

Dan Jones was, simply put, a NEET. He locked himself in his home and made whatever costs he accrued in his day-to-day life by making video games based on the shows he loved.

That was until he managed to get struck by a golf ball flying through his window, killing him instantly. 

The next thing he knew, he was in the body of Izuku's fraternal twin brother, Akatani Midoriya with a quirk based on a game he'd developed, Phantom Resonance, which was a Gacha game based on Jojo's stands.

Genre: Comedy, Action, Slice of Life

Option 2: The Sunk Cost Fallacy

On that terrible day, when All Might told him he couldn't be a hero, when he was attacked by a villain, when his entire class mocked him for daring to dream. When his childhood friend told him to jump off a roof and hope for a quirk...

He followed through. 

The next thing he knew, he woke up in a dumpster covered in blood with his head pounding, but miraculously, that was the only injury he'd sustained. 

He had a quirk. One that resurrected him. 

But at what cost?
