Deviant Prince

Chapter 4: Chapter 5

PRIME MINISTER'S VILLA, HAILEY'S ROOM*

Judith barged in at exactly 10pm and woke Hailey up from her sleep.

Hailey sat up, letting go of the pillow she hugged and rubbing her eyes.

"Quickly go get me apples. There's none in the freezer and I'm craving so bad for it after the Blake had me in the pool" Judith said.

"By this time of the night?" Hailey's eyes widened, and Judith rolled eyes.

"You're not going?"

"I was planning to wake up at midnight and draw the design, but now I have to go get you apples? I won't get to sleep at all" Hailey said.

"Is there a problem with that?" Judith replied, her demeanor so mean.

Hailey took the money and dressed up without further argument since it'd lead nowhere.

She's never allowed to drive any car, and no driver is allowed to drive her, so she left the villa that night and luckily found a last minute taxi which took her to the fruits store.

She shopped for enough apples and rushed out, but unluckily for her, there's no taxi in sight anymore.

The time is past 11pm on her phone, so she decided to just trek even if it means she'd faint along the way.

She had barely trekked for five minutes when the apple nylon bursted, letting all the ten apples fall on the ground.

"Heck" she muttered, picking the apples into her gown which she folded.

She picked nine, but the tenth one already rolled into a corner.

She entered the corner to take it, but she was suddenly pulled deeper into the dark corner by strong arms, and her apples poured away for the second time.

"Oh no" She gasped, quickly taking a hidden pepper spray out of her purse despite the darkness.

She takes the spray with her whenever she goes night shopping for Judith like this.

She sprayed it, turning around on a spot and making sure it'd reach whoever dragged her even when he's not seeing any face.

She heard loud groans from two men, and that alerted her that it worked, so she turned around to leave, only to see another two behind.

The street lights shone on their faces, and she got scared to see they're criminally tattood.

She tried to press the pepper spray again, but they snatched it from her and broke it.

"Please... please don't hurt me" she shifted back skittishly.

"Your bank card, and every cash in your purse, get it out now!" Their leader ordered.

"I...I didn't bring my bank card. I bought apples with the money I have and I'm left with just by transport fare back home" she stuttered.

"You must think this is a joke" the leader punched her in the stomach, reminding her of Blake's punches.

The veins on her neck stretched out looking reddish, and her eyes watered.

"I swear I'm saying the truth!" She cried.

"Drag her here then. Let's take turns on her" another one said, and she gasped.

But before they could even touch her, a new presence entered the corner, and the sound of thrashing rented the cold air together with the groans of the thieves.

The four of them received good beatings, and Hailey just stood, getting scared than before.

Who the hell is that?

Will he take her after beating the thieves?

Her eyes widened in the dark, and she quickly turned around to run out of the corner, but the bulb in the corner spot came on, making her stop with a pounding heart.

"Turn around" a commanding voice spoke, and her throat moved as she slowly turned around, only to see the bodies of the four thieves on the ground, greatly injured.

Their beater is standing there with a cigar stick in the corner of his lips and blood-stained fists.

He's the same guy she had bumped into earlier at the dinner hall.

"Y-you?" She sounded in surprise.

He came closer–just three steps and he's with her, making her shift back as his smokes assaulted her nose.

"Thank you...for saving me" she said, and the next thing he did was lifting his hand to her face, right below her lips.

"Your lipstick is smeared" he said richly, and her lashes moved.

The lipstick is the only makeup she wore to the dinner house earlier. She must have forgotten to clean it when she arrived.

He raised his thumb to her lower lip, and she refused to blink as he pressed the thumb on the lip line, wiping the red lipstick with his eyes focused on hers.

He could feel the intense shift in the air, and the softness of the lip under his thumb.

He removed his cigar with his second hand, and his eyes went drowsy like he's totally high.

"You have soft lips," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Hailey attempted to step back, but then his next words came...

"Pretty sure they'd look good wrapped around a dîck."

Her jaws dropped.
