Deviant: No Longer Human

Chapter 762: Discipline: An Invaluable Virtue (2)

Upstairs, behind the shut wooden door, a shiloutte sat on the edge of the bed like a criminal waiting for her sentence.

Her legs wouldn't stop shaking. Pale white thighs pressed together, denim shorts riding up just enough to make her curse herself. A black tank covered her chest, too thin, showing skin she wished wasn't so obvious right now.

Her lips were bleeding faintly where she'd bitten them raw. Shampoo still covered her damp, wavy hair, dripping strands curling down her shoulder. She smelled clean, too clean, like someone scrubbed her guilt away, but the nerves didn't wash off.

She hugged her own arms, teeth grinding. "… what did I just do?"

The cold marble under her bare feet made her shiver, reminding her how exposed she was. A thin waist, breasts pushing against the fabric every time she breathed too hard, she hated it.

Her thighs stuck slightly against the seat as she shifted, skin steamy and trembling. Why the hell am I like this?

The mirror caught her for a second. Hair tousled, lips bitten red, eyes wide and restless. She looked like she'd just stumbled out of something she couldn't even admit to.

And it made her even more nervous.

Why was she even feeling guilty?

None of this was her fault.

She repeated it over and over, biting her lip until it stung, trying to drown out the whisper in her head. You didn't choose this. You didn't cause this. So why do you feel dirty?

Her chest rose and fell faster, she shook her head hard, muttering under her breath.

It's not me. It's not me. It's not-

Creak...

The door eased open.

Her heart slammed against her ribs.

She jolted upright, feet cold against the marble as she snapped her gaze to the doorway.

"X-Xiao Wang?" she blurted, voice catching between fear, shock.

Her eyes widened at the sight of him stepping in, his presence filling the room in an instant.

"..."

Seeing him step inside, closing the door behind him, she froze. His silence pressed on her until her momentum faltered, her chest tightening.

"Do you know what you did wrong?"

Wang Xiao's voice calm, almost casual. He stepped closer, each footfall echoing on the marble.

She flinched, her eyes darting away, hands twisting on her lap. For a second she looked small, cornered, then her lips clenched shut.

"I… I don't know." Her voice blurry, then steadied with heat. "I don't care! If you hadn't pushed me that far... none of this would've happened!"

Wang Xiao tilted his head slightly, "I pushed you too far?" He stepped closer, his shadow swallowing her. "And remind me… what exactly did I do again?"

Her nails dug into her palms. Her throat tightened. For a moment, silence strangled her words, until she forced them out.

"You... humiliated me. You!" she bit the word like glass, "-raped me. My own brother."

Her voice shook, half a whisper, half a scream. Tears dew to her lashes, but she kept glaring up at him through them.

"And now you stand here… asking me what I did wrong?!"

Wang Xiao watched her voice crack into sobs, almost beautiful tears spilling, and the corner of his mouth curved with satisfaction."So… you made the whole city chase you because I raped you? Is that your grand excuse? Are you even thinking straight?"

"I didn't invite them!" she shot back, voice hoarse, her body trembling.

"Good." His tone dropped, "Because if you did… we wouldn't be talking here. We'd be talking over your grave."

She froze, eyes wide, as his words sank in like ice.

"You…" she stammered, her voice breaking into fury. "What do you think you are? Just because you've got some power, you think you can do anything?!" Her chest heaved, her nails digging into her palms. "The country won't protect you if I go out there and tell everyone! I— I'll—"

"Country?" Wang Xiao's brows rose, as though she'd just told a joke. For a moment he looked confused, then a memory crossed his face. 'Ah… she still thinks I'm with the NSA.'

He chuckled. Then laughed harder. A sharp, mocking sound that made her shudder.

"Hahaha… Go ahead then. Go outside. Tell everyone. Shout it from the rooftops if you want."

He suddenly shoved her shoulders.

"!!"

Wang Jiarong gasped, stumbling back, almost losing her balance. She spun, only to see the massive glass window behind her, the waterfall roaring down its face like a wall of liquid steel.

When she turned back, Wang Xiao stood there unmoved, an immovable figure, his presence swallowing the room.

She gulped, throat dry, her eyes darting down to her chest as if remembering.

That night. The first night... When it all started with his hand.

How he kept touching her breasts again and again, no matter how much she pushed him away.

Her lips trembled. Was he the same with Ruixin?

How did she become so agreeable then? Did he intimidate her the same way he did her? Was that what he did with everyone, breaking them down until they stopped resisting?

Her voice cracked when she finally spoke.

"You know… the night you fell from that cliff… I cried until morning."

His gaze didn't shift.

"I blamed myself," she whispered, eyes swimming. "Over and over. Telling myself if you never came back, it would be my fault. I was ready to… to pay with anything, if it meant you'd return alive."

"Oh?" Wang Xiao tilted his head, nodding faintly. His voice, inhumanly calm. "And what about that?"

Her chest clenched. She gasped, the word tearing out of her lips. "Inhumane!" she cursed inwardly.

She bit her lip hard, drawing blood. "But now… seeing what you've become…" Her fists shook at her sides, her eyes burning through tears. "It would've been better if you'd stayed dead forever."

The silence afterward felt like the whole villa stopped breathing.

Her body twisted with the pain of letting those words out, as if every muscle wanted to take them back, but she stood there, shaking, refusing to.

Wang Xiao stepped forward and cupped her face, gentle, almost tender, like touching a tempting fairy.

Wang Jiarong's breath stopped. She was surprised, but she didn't move. She knew better. Alone in this room, if he wanted, he could rape her again. Pretending otherwise would be stupid.

And yet… she had said what she said because she didn't care anymore. He needed to know what she thought of him.

His thumb brushed her cheek, gentle, too gentle. For a moment it almost made her feel guilty... Almost.

Then his hand lifted, her glassy eyes trembled.

SLAP!

The sharp sound echoed through the room.

Her head snapped sideways. In the next instant she was jerked on the bed, cheek burning, her body trembling as she propped herself up with her hands, trembling and stunned.

Wang Xiao's voice trailed behind her, "Oh, my dear sister… you don't pray for your brother to die. That's punishable."

She shuddered.

"Also... " His tone hardened. "I don't care if the whole city chases you. Or the world. What matters is you don't escape me. When I call, you pick up. When I text, you reply. If you don't-" his fingers trailed down her spine, "that's disobedience."

Her denim shorts slid down under his hand. The fabric peeled away, baring her pale skin. White, supple flesh, round and perky. She hadn't worn anything beneath, her clothes from before soaked, discarded.

His palm pressed against her heated skin, possessive. "And it just so happens I'm free today… to discipline you."

Before he could finish, she whipped her head around, eyes blazing, face flushed red from both shame and fury. "Do you think I'm your puppet?! That I belong to you?! What do I owe you, Wang Xiao? Nothing! We're not even brother and sister anymore-I don't recognize you as family!"

"..."

Silence fell for a second.

Then he shook his head slowly. "Wrong words....You don't get to define that. I own you. From now until death. You can't even die without my permission."

His finger traced a mocking circle across the bulge of her ass before his palm struck.

PAKH!

"Ah!" Wang Jiarong gasped, her body jerking, flesh jiggling under the sting.

Her teeth clenched, eyes fierce even through tears. "Arrogant!"

"Yes." His voice was almost amused. His hand fell again.

PAKH!

"Mmhh!" She bit down hard, muffling the sound, refusing to scream.

PAKH! PAKH! PAKH!

Three more slaps in a row. Her ass rippled under his palm, pale skin already flushing red. Her long legs shook, thighs pressing together unconsciously, her body betraying her even as her lips spat denial.

Wang Xiao leaned close, voice cold. "How about you apologize already?"

Her teeth ground, breath ragged.

"Hmph… not till my death."

He chuckled. His hand left her ass and slid up, gripping her jaw, forcing her lips into a soft, unwilling pout. Her eyes widened, furious and startled.

"Stubborn," he murmured, thumb rubbing her swollen lip. "Well… let's see how long that spine lasts."

Her pulse spiked. She knew exactly what this bastard was thinking.

"D-Don't-"

His thumb pressed down, prying her lips apart just enough to feel the warmth of her breath.

"Try spitting," he whispered, warning, "and I'll throw your pretty body over the terrace and watch it break."

Her throat locked. Fear tangled with anger, choking her words.

He smirked, dragging his thumb slowly across her trembling mouth, smearing the faint trace of blood where she'd bitten herself, "Mm. Look at you. Trembling already. And here I thought you didn't know fear."

His thumb pressed harder, sliding between her clenched teeth, rubbing against her tongue until she tasted the faint iron of her own blood. Wang Jiarong glared, eyes wet with fury, but her silence only amused him.

"...Sophia." His called out, sharply. "Undress her."
